"I was stabbed in the back; am I going to die?".
Walking down an empty street, he felt a sudden, piercing pain.
"Is this really the end for me?"
Before he could fully process it, he was teleported to a different world. His death came as a surprise.
"Where am I? Am I still alive? No, I was dead, but I can't move. Where am I?"
Everything seemed to be happening at once, overwhelming him. Then, a woman appeared out of nowhere. She introduced herself as Goddess Celestia and explained that this realm inhabited by mana, a force belonging to all living beings: dragons, monsters, elves, demons, and humans.
She described the races: elves and dragons are superior due to their high mana and are considered to be a higher race ; demons are vicious and cruel; humans are intelligent, but they don't possess mana like elves; and monsters are the least intelligent among all.
"Are you the one who called me to defeat the Demon King, Goddess?" he asked.
He thought if he was the protagonist of some novel.
The Goddess appeared confused.
"You don't have to defeat the demon," she said.
This perplexed him.
"What? So, what am I supposed to do in this world? Why was I teleported?" he said.
"You were a mistake, and you'll be a problem," she said.
"What makes me a problem?" he said.
The Goddess explained that summoning humans from other worlds is strictly prohibited among gods, and she hadn't summoned him. He had to return to his previous world, he can live here until the Goddess of his world noticed his absence. Since celestia didn't summon him, she couldn't send him back. According to her, a human had summoned him, and he had to find a way back on his own.
"So you're saying my summon wasn't your doing, and I have to return to my world, and I have to find the way back myself?" he clarified.
"Yes, that's right," she confirmed.
"You're a Goddess; you must know the way back to my world, don't you?" he pleaded.
"Yes, I know the way back to your world," she admitted.
"Then why don't you just tell me?" he asked.
"I know, but I want you to figure it out and do whatever you want to do and then returning to your world," she said.
"Do you have any questions? If not, I'll leave," she asked.
"No, wait! At least give me power!" he demanded.
"No, I can't," she replied.
"Then at least give me a skill," he insisted.
"Q she agreed,
He was very curious about the skill he would receive.
"Your skill is CONTRACT."
