"What am I supposed to do?" I already tried to find something and failed and yet now I had no choice but to get up.
'I can't stay in my room anymore' Since my my mother had told me to get out then it's not like I could ignore her words.
My mother was a amazing mother, Kind and gentle when she needed to be but she was also a very strict and commanding women. She didn't take no for a answer, I learned growing up that the only way to live peacefully is to listen to my mother. I also knew that she wasn't just like that with me, She was very stern with everyone she talked to leading some people to think she was a cold person.
'Let's go find something to do' I stood up and stretched my body before heading out my room.
I looked back with a slight yearning at my bed and tilted my head in annoyance, I didn't understand why I felt like doing nothing know that I was forced to find something to do. It was very confusing and I wondered if I would ever get answer to that question.
I walked down the stairs and came to the first floor before I paused with my arms crossed, I looked around and sighed. It wasn't like there wasn't anything to do it's just that I didn't feel like doing any of it, I stayed still for a couple more seconds before shaking my head.
'Maybe I can~' My thoughts were interrupted as I heard the doorbell ring and my mothers voice soon rang out.
"Get the door please" Her voice was polite and yet it was commanding enough to know I didn't have a choice.
I sighed once more and uncrossed my arms before heading toward the front of the house, It didn't take long until I came to the front hallway and the large front door. I got on my tippy toes and looked through the peep hole before I let out a helpless sigh before unlocking opening it.
"Ash! Why can't you answer the door faster" A young boy my age stood outside with a grin on his face.
"Why can't you wait patiently?" I asked with a annoyed voice but the boy just rolled his eyes and walked past me with out even waiting for a invitation.
"Its rude to enter peoples houses uninvited" I said closing the door and locking it once more as I turned around and looked at the boy.
He had average looks that couldn't be considered ugly but also couldn't be considered attractive, His face was full of freckles and was framed by his large ears. The boys hair was wavy and shorter on the sides while a bit longer on top, And lastly was his plain black eyes.
The freckle faced boy was my long time childhood friend Rowan. Now for context we had met when Rowan moved into the neighborhood many years ago, I guess we became friends because of close proximity but that didn't mean that we weren't close. It's just I sometimes wonder if I actually would have befriended Rowan if he didn't live a couple houses down.
The main thing with Rowan was his obsession with the opposite gender, Now I wasn't acting like I wasn't interested in girls but Rowan took it to a new level. We couldn't have a conversation with out him mentioning a cute girl he saw nor could we watch a movie with out him ogling the female actresses. Of course I had gotten used to it over the years but I'm sure other people still found him very weird.
'Well at least I'll be occupied' I thought seeing Rowan roll his eyes at my last comment before he walked toward the living room.
"Your hurting my feelings" Rowan fake pouted which filled me with a disgusted feeling as I followed behind him.
"Aren't you supposed to be at a camp or something?" I asked with a raised eyebrow causing Rowan to let out a cough.
"I got kicked out" Rowan said making me stifled a laugh as I nodded my head.
"Let me guess, You let bugs loose in the tents?" I said but didn't wait for him to respond as I kept going.
"You flirted with the camp consoler and got ruthlessly rejected?"
"You ran off on your own?" I kept saying things causing Rowan to glare at me before he flicked me off and we finally entered the living room.
