This is my original deck, something I awakened for myself. It is modeled entirely for me. Through tuning, I can replace 3 cards from this. The extra cards come from killing beasts in the void dungeon. They are very popular as they allow one to remodel their deck to their own needs. Many merchants' houses sell them for hefty prices, but since I am the heir of Antigonus's house, I can have tons of them.

Since Charles banned the use of debuffs, I have to replace debuff cards or cards that help fight debuff cards. So, I will only replace 2 debuff cards Shadow bind and Energy Siphon, with

Precision Mark (Common, Enhancement)

Wind Slash (Common, Skill)

Clayton tuned his cards instantly and felt a huge mental toll. His head throbbed with pain for half a minute , and then slowly he returned to normal. I can't imagine what happens with people who don't take vials.

Clayton was almost prepared for the duel in the evening. He knew there would be a lot of eyeballs on this match. So, he already gave broadcasting rights to Antigonus House. Duel betting, gambling, and streaming are a very big industry. It is a great source of entertainment for normal people and a great source of money for gamblers. House Antigonus casino would be filled with people today for gambling.

Another reason for this massive attention will be card evaluation. Everyone has a fixed deck, even though you can tune it, but it's only 3 cards, and after watching some duels, you can easily figure out your opponent's deck. As our first formal duel, people, especially those in power, will be paying a lot of attention to this. So, they can figure out your deck and take precautionary measures against it. Information selling is a lucrative business, and Antigonus House also has a good share of the industry.

A detailed document with rumors about Charles Deck was presented in front of him thanks to the courtesy of his house. From what I know, Charles has a bloodline card on him, which he will definitely use. House Antigonus also suspected this and sent me the information on the Edwards family bloodline card. I don't even know how they get this; these kinds of cards are top secrets in any house. Edward's family bloodline cards is Dragon's oath

Dragon's Oath (Enhancement, Unique)

Effect: Costs 4 AP to play; for the next two turns, the user gains a "Dragon's Resolve" buff—his Skill cards deal +1 damage (e.g., Arcane Bolt deals 2 hits instead of 1), and he regenerates an additional 1 AP per turn (total 2 AP/turn). Can only be played after Charles has taken at least half a hit (honor demands resilience before unleashing power).

From what I remember in the novel, Charles's playing style was mainly focused on skills and enhancement cards while he used gloves, an item whose effects I cannot properly recall.

Clayton saw time was 4:40, so he decided to leave his apartment and head to duel grounds
