— Don't let him reconstruct himself at all! Attack with all your might! — Kirk shouted.
— With our current strength, we might end up destroying the planet! — Kana warned.
— Kannes, create a barrier and throw us into another dimension with your shield — Kirk said, casting some dimensional magic onto Kannes's shield.
Anti-Dimensional Barrier — Kannes created a massive barrier that transported them to a place where time and space did not exist. It was a colossal cube, comparable to a cluster of galaxies, surrounded by void. Due to its power, everyone could see and move freely, using their full powers without destroying Turfazia or even the universe, thanks to the power continuously gushing from the crack in Kirk's seal, shared with the others through the connection of their seals.
— Attack with everything, without fear! This time, there won't be a trace left of him. He will be completely destroyed! — Kirk ordered.
Dimensional Rupture — Kirk unleashed numerous dimensional slashes at incredible speed, so many that they seemed like a wall of dimensional magic advancing towards Aztrofi.
Pierced Dimension — Kewa created
thousands of triple magic circles: one circle generated ten arrows, duplicated a hundred, and tripled ten thousand, each arrow imbued with a different and extremely powerful magic.
Multiple Suns — Kana created several suns, reduced to the size of a human eye, but with the same power and energy as a regular sun.
— What? These worms... No way, I haven't even reconstructed myself yet! — Aztrofi thought, startled for a brief moment.
— AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! — Aztrofi screamed, laughing and going completely mad...
Dimensional Negativity Condensate
— Did you feel that? — Kana asked.
— Yes, it feels like negative energy swept through this entire dimension — Kannes said.
— What is that? — Kewa asked.
— They look like extremely compacted dark balls of negative energy. They're like my Multiple Suns, but made of negative energy and in an incredibly superior number — Kana said, astonished.
— Attack! Don't wait until his attacks hit us! — Kirk shouted.
Although the four's attacks hit Aztrofi, his attacks consumed and destroyed their magic. Only light magic destroyed them on impact, and dimensional magic passed through almost unaffected, but due to the quantity, it rarely reached Aztrofi.
— Guys, all his attacks aim to drain our mana. When he hits us, he weakens us and sucks our magic; when he hits our spells, he consumes them as food — Kana said, worried.
— Hahaha, so you noticed? But it's no use now. This is your end — Aztrofi said with a wide grin revealing sharp teeth.
Black Hole
Aztrofi raised his arms, releasing a massive amount of negative energy until he created an enormous black hole, sucking everyone's magic into it, except Kirk's dimensional slashes and Kannes's barrier...
(Even if Kirk's dimensional magic hit the black hole, it couldn't destroy it, like trying to cut the ocean with a normal sword.)
— What do we do now? No magic, besides dimensional, can do anything. Even light magic, which affected Aztrofi, no longer works and is sucked by him! — Kewa exclaimed.
— Kirk, this dimension won't hold much longer. The barrier that traps us here is cracking because of this black hole. If it breaks, everything happening here will instantly appear in Turfazia — Kannes warned.
— Everything we know would vanish in an instant. This would be the worst possible situation — Kirk said.
— Every minute, the black hole gets bigger. It seems Aztrofi got tired of waiting and is now going all out against us, continuously pouring out his negative energy to destroy everything — Kana said.
The third eye on Kana's forehead glowed, and she accessed more memories coming from the crack in the seal.
— Guys, I've examined the memories in my mind and found the only way to temporarily put an end to him — Kana said.
— But we want to destroy him, not just temporarily end him! — Kirk retorted, glaring with hatred towards the center of the black hole.
— I think you know better than me that we're not capable of that yet, right, Kirk? — Kana replied.
Recalling some memories, Kirk changed his posture, looked at Kewa and said:
— We have to seal him, don't we?
— That's right. I'm preparing the magic, but I need Kannes to envelop me in another barrier to maximize my speed, so I can prepare it as perfectly as possible. I hope you can distract him for at least ten seconds after the barrier is in place — Kana said.
Multiple spheres of condensed negativity flew towards them, as Aztrofi realized they were plotting something.
— Alright! — the other three said, motivated.
Their bodies began to be covered by the blue energy from their seals, making their weapons larger and more imposing.
— Let me hit the black spheres to protect Kana, while you stay beside her to defend if anything gets through — Kirk said.
Unilateral Dimensional Slashes
Kirk concentrated all his power into his swords, which destroyed and reconstructed themselves solely with blue and dimensional power. He struck each of the black spheres at high speed, as if they were right in front of him.
— How does he do that? Even distant spheres, he hits them without needing to send a physical slash to them! — Kewa exclaimed.
Aztrofi realized his spheres were being destroyed and increased their quantity. There were so many that even with the slashes hitting all of them, new ones appeared in different instants, and Kirk began to be overwhelmed. Aztrofi went further, creating spheres at all extremities of the dimension, almost controlling the entire dimensional space.
— I'm finished — Kana said telepathically in everyone's mind.
— GOODBYE, HAHAHAHAHA! — Aztrofi shouted.
All the black spheres advanced towards the four.
The four began to connect, and the eyes on their foreheads were destroyed.
— Kirk, it's up to you now... — Kana said.
Everyone, except Kirk and Aztrofi, vanished from that dimension.
— THE POWER THEY GAVE ME WILL NOT BE USED IN VAIN! — Kirk shouted.
All the spheres were destroyed, and the dimensional cube they were in was completely illuminated by a light that even the black hole couldn't absorb.
Dimensional Bow — Kirk united all his companions' weapons into one.
Kannes's anti-dimensional barrier, which isolated them from any dimension, began to crack just from the creation of this bow.
— SUFFER, YOU BASTARD! — Kirk shouted, pointing the bow at Aztrofi.
Dimension Piercer
In place of an arrow, a sword emerged, and over ten thousand magic circles appeared in front of the bow. Every inch Kirk pulled the sword back, he felt weaker, and the dimension cracked even more, unable to withstand such power.
— MORE! I HAVE TO PULL IT EVEN MORE, EVEN IF IT DESTROYS MY ARM OR THIS BODY! AT LEAST THE PATH FOR NEXT TIME WILL BE LAID! — Kirk thought, pulling the sword with such force that his arm began to shatter.
— AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! — Kirk screamed after his arm broke, releasing the power-filled sword, launched by the bow towards the center of the black hole.
Each magic circle the sword passed through increased its size a thousandfold.
Viewed from an edge of the anti-dimensional barrier, only the black hole was visible, but with time, the sword began to grow and appear.
As the sword grew, the barrier cracked and shattered behind it. It grew until it equaled the size of Aztrofi's black hole and struck it.
Kirk heard Aztrofi's screams and saw the large sword and the black hole shrink, while lightning and dimensional waves continuously erupted from the collision. The barrier completely broke, and the sword returned to normal size, lodged in his heart.
A huge bang was heard by Kirk, like the sound of an ear popping, and the two returned to the skies of Turfazia.
— I HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE! — Aztrofi thought, slowly moving his hands towards the sword's hilt to remove it from his heart.
Kana, Kewa, and Kannes joined hands, forming a triangle around Aztrofi.
— Let's start the seal before he removes the sword, comes back worse than before, and destroys everything — Kana said.
— KIRK, COME AND COMPLETE THE SEAL NOW! — Kannes shouted.
Kirk stood suspended in the air, armless, with memories of his past lives flashing through his mind, repeating the same words...
...Not again, not again, not again, not again, not again, not again, not again, NOT AGAIN!
A glowing blue arm emerged in place of the destroyed arm, and an extremely thin sword appeared with it, so thin that, from the front, it was invisible.
Time began to slow down until it stopped.
Dimensional Triangle
Kirk moved his arm, forming a triangle within the seal. Inside it, Aztrofi was hit from all sides at an immeasurable speed and disappeared. The dimensional triangle vanished along with the sword that sealed Aztrofi.
— What is that glow, Kirk? — Kana asked before the glow disappeared.
— He is... — Kirk said, being interrupted.
Inside the triangle, everything became dark, and Aztrofi's body reconstructed itself, but only as a shadow. Within the seal, dark energy emanated from his body towards Kana, Kannes, and Kewa.
— HAHAHAHA, YOU REMOVED THE SWORD! THANK YOU, NOW EVERYONE WILL SUFFER BECAUSE OF IT! — Aztrofi shouted from within the seal.
— KIRK, LET'S COMPLETE THE SEAL BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! — Kana shouted.
Kirk held Kana's and Kannes's hands, and the triangle seal became a square.
At that moment, Aztrofi became immobile within the seal, and the memories of all their lives returned. A blue light streamed from their bodies, forming a pillar towards the infinity of space, made up of all the lives they had lived. This was the moment their lives connected so that the seal could be remade on Aztrofi and on themselves, allowing them to see their pasts in each block of the pillar and a shadow of the future by counting how many blocks remained.
— Once again, we're here and we couldn't defeat him, but I believe next time we will — Kannes said.
— Let's look down and see how many blocks are left to finish — Kewa said.
— Huh, something's not right — Kana said.
— Indeed, there were always blocks, but this time a triangle appeared, and below it, there's nothing. What could that mean? — Kannes asked.
— Until next time, everyone — Kana said with tears in her eyes, slowly disappearing.
— UNTIL! — echoed everyone's voice through the pillar.
Everyone cried, slowly disappearing.
Something like rain occurred inside the pillar, due to the tears of their past lives.
And so Kana, Kannes, Kewa, and...
Kirk was not disappearing, nor was the seal. However, everyone else vanished, and he remained in the pillar, without strength, beginning to fall.
— Why didn't I disappear? Was it because of my delay in helping with the seal when I was called? — Kirk thought, falling within the pillar.
He fell backward towards the bottom of the pillar, trying to see its top.
Drops began to touch his back, and fractions of memories of his lives and his companions' lives flashed through his mind.
— What is this? These memories... some are mine, I remember, but others are not — Kirk thought.
— These drops are the tears of my companions and...
His body began to disintegrate with each collision with the tears. He stretched out his hand, now with bones showing, upwards and fell into the lake of tears, dissolving completely.
5000 YEARS LATER
— Hey, come here! I found something — a soldier said to his patrol companion.
— What is it? A box? Don't be silly, you called me just for that? — his companion retorted.
— This box is very strange, that's why I called you — the soldier insisted.
— Whatever, let's open it — the patrol companion said.
Upon opening the box, they saw a baby sleeping inside, with a symbol on its forehead: the symbol of a third eye.
