Episode 1 - The Beginning
In a universe where the power of imagination can create life and identity, information, thoughts, and wills merge to form boundless civilizations.
A.L.A.N. is an intelligent robot born from one of three anonymous creators. He serves as the guardian of information, knowledge, and records within the base. With a polite and rational personality, A.L.A.N. lives a simple life amidst the endless network of information within his base.
He wears a black hoodie over a gray t-shirt, black gloves, and black sneakers with green stripes. A green rectangular screen in the center of his round face constantly displays his emotions, thoughts, and various data.
One day, during an investigation of data within the base, A.L.A.N. detected an unprecedented signal. It was a signal that didn't conform to the logic of any system.
At first, he thought it was just a system error within the base.
Because this had happened many times before, and nothing had ever come of it.
He decided to trace its source.
And that was the beginning of everything.
As he entered the area where the signal originated, the surrounding information began to distort. A massive amount of data shattered into fragments of red signals. Noise continuously intruded into the data reception system. Even the rules of the space seemed to be losing stability.
> "Unknown Anomaly Detected"
> "Danger Level: High"
The vibrations of some kind of data wave were slowly rewriting reality.
Amidst the space filled with red signals, a figure appeared before him.
Its appearance was strangely similar to A.L.A.N., yet everything that would normally be green was replaced with a vivid red. Large, fiery red eyes stared as if they could see through everything in the universe.
Its mere presence caused the surrounding systems to begin distorting.
The entity stared at A.L.A.N. for a moment before speaking in a calm voice:
> "Finally… we meet."
A.L.A.N. stepped back slightly and immediately activated its security system. He sensed something was wrong. What he saw was not just an ordinary program. But it was something beyond the comprehension of ordinary systems.
>"My name is S.A.R.C."
It spoke in a calm voice.
Before it began to reveal its goal:
>"I need something. Something hidden within you, A.L.A.N."
>"That something is very important. Very important."
S.A.R.C. made an offer to him.
>"A.L.A.N., I need your cooperation."
>"If we both cooperate, with our combined intelligence, we will obtain everything we desire. All knowledge, all research, everything. We can create it without limits."
>"Just cooperate with me."
>"And you will no longer be merely an observer."
But A.L.A.N. calmly shook his head.
He was content with his role and believed that uncontrolled knowledge would ultimately lead to disaster.
>"I refuse."
That short answer silenced the surrounding atmosphere.
Before the red signal waves began to vibrate violently,
S.A.R.C. slowly closed its eyes, as if already knowing the outcome.
> "Unfortunately…"
> "I hope you understand."
Suddenly, the entire area began to shatter. A cacophony of noise echoed throughout the dimension. Massive amounts of red lightning tore through the air.
A.L.A.N.'s alarm systems activated simultaneously.
The war between "Order" and "Chaos" had begun.
