Chapter 384 - Ch: 244-249

Chapter 244: The Complete Form of Stormbreaker

Chu Hang withdrew the invisible Soul Law, and the three Executioners collapsed to the ground silently like puppets with their strings cut. They were still breathing, but their consciousnesses were locked in an eternal cage, turning them into three living statues.

The flow of time in the conference room returned to normal.

Rhodey's War Machine armor let out a harsh alarm, and he stumbled half a step before steadying himself. Samgasped, his vibranium shield nearly slipping from his hand. Wanda dissipated the Chaos Magic she had been shielding herself with and hurried to Chu Hang's side, her eyes full of concern.

"What did you see?"

"A coordinate, a name." Chu Hang's gaze passed over the others and landed on Nathaniel, who was on the ground. The dark purple glow on the boy's body had faded, his face was as pale as paper, and he was extremely weak.

He withdrew his gaze, his voice carrying a hint of gravity: "And a fact—the Council of Kangs is more troublesome than I imagined. They are not just conquerors; they are more like gardeners pruning Reality, and we are just the weeds on their list to be removed."

"What do you mean?" Rhodey pressed, his voice beneath the mask revealing unease.

Chu Hang did not answer directly. He raised his hand and made a light swipe in the center of the conference room, and a stable spatial rift tore open in response. On the other side of the rift was the magnificent coastline of Norwayand that city radiating new life. New Asgard.

Chu Hang did not go over personally; he simply reached his hand into the rift, and the Space Law extended out like invisible tentacles.

At this moment, on the palace balcony of New Asgard, Thor was leaning against the railing, looking into the distance. He was no longer the decadent fat man from the Endgame; time had healed some of his pain, and responsibility had allowed him to straighten his spine once more. He was dressed in well-fitted Asgardian casual wear, his golden hair and beard were neatly trimmed, and he radiated a long-lost kingly aura.

The next second, he sensed a spatial fluctuation, but before he could react, an irresistible, mighty force enveloped him and instantly dragged him across to the other side of space.

Thor felt his vision blur, and when he steadied himself, he was already in the conference room of the Avengers Base. He looked around and saw Rhodey, Sam, Wanda, as well as the three unconscious strangers and the weak boy on the floor. Finally, his gaze met Chu Hang's.

"Chu Hang." Thor's voice was steady and powerful. "You are back. It seems the Universe is in big trouble again."

"Bigger than you imagine." Chu Hang looked down at his old friend, his eyes as sharp as knives. "The Multiverse war has begun, and Kang's Executioners just tried to erase my existence. I need greater combat power."

Thor's eyes instantly became sharp. He glanced at the Executioners on the ground, felt the Strange energy remaining on them, and immediately understood the gravity of the situation. He did not hesitate in the slightest, simply asking in a deep voice: "What do you need me to do?"

"Where is your axe?"

Hearing this, Thor raised his right hand. A flash of lightning sparked in his palm, and Stormbreaker responded to the call, tearing through space to teleport from the armory of New Asgard and landing steadily in his hand.

The axe blade was still that deadly uru metal, with fine lightning dancing on its edges. And on the axe handle, which Chu Hang had personally crafted from Groot's branches using Reality Warping, the six reserved slots remained empty.

Chu Hang's gaze landed on those six slots.

"I remember you saying it was not yet finished." Thorfollowed his gaze and also remembered the conversation from back then.

"Yes. But the Infinity Stones..." Thor frowned. "Thanosdestroyed them. I watched with my own eyes as he used the power of the Stones to reduce them to atoms. Strangealso confirmed that one cannot find complete Stones on any timeline."

"Reducing them to atoms does not mean they have completely disappeared." Chu Hang raised his right hand, and complex golden runes appeared on his palm. "Matter is indestructible. Thanos only disassembled them to the most basic particle level; those particles carrying the Universe's origin laws are still scattered within the background radiation."

Rhodey walked over, his face full of disbelief: "You mean... you can find them? But the Universe is so vast; those particles could be scattered across a range of millions of light-years!"

"For mortals, yes." The golden runes on Chu Hang's palm began to rotate, the light intensifying. "But for me, the cost is bearable."

He did not explain further, instead taking direct action. The Alchemy Law was unleashed aggressively!

Golden patterns spread from his palm, interweaving in the air to form a massive, three-dimensional alchemy array. It was no longer a flat blueprint, but a living, pulsating network of laws.

Wanda watched with a pounding heart. She could feel that this was not energy manipulation, but rather issuing commands to "existence" itself at the conceptual level. The foundation of Reality seemed like clay that could be molded at will before Chu Hang.

"The cost of alchemy is traversing the Universe to search for every single particle." Chu Hang's voice was calm, yet carried unquestionable majesty. "But time and Reality will pay this bill for me."

He raised his left hand, and a cyan glow lit up. The Law of Time unfolded!

The space-time within the conference room was instantly cut and folded. In the eyes of the others, Chu Hang was just standing still, but in the independent time flow he occupied, billions of moments had already passed, enough for him to complete countless deductions and calculations.

Immediately after, scarlet energy surged from his body and merged into the golden alchemy array. The power of Reality Warping began to correct the laws, compressing the vast project of "traversing the Universe" into a "conceptual scan" that covered the entire domain.

On the screen of Rhodey's armor, all data instantly cleared to zero, leaving only static. Sam and Rhodey were pushed to the wall by an invisible wave of air, and even breathing became difficult. Wanda's Chaos Magic automatically shielded her, the scarlet light flickering violently as it resisted the aftermath that was strong enough to tear Reality apart.

Chu Hang closed his eyes.

His consciousness passed through the alchemy array, instantly transcending the constraints of space and time, and spread throughout the entire Universe. From the spiral arms of the galaxy to the nebulae of Andromeda, from the void of the dark matter sea to the furnaces of newborn stars, his perception was everywhere.

The Alchemy Law granted him the ability to distinguish all things. Although the atoms of the Infinity Stones had been disassembled, the imprints of the origin laws they had once carried shone brightly in Chu Hang's perception like lighthouses in the night.

He found them.

A spatial rift opened beside him, and on the other side were the silent ruins of Titan. Chu Hang's will reached into it, and countless invisible blue particles gathered like tired birds returning to the forest, recombining in the air into a crystal-clear blue crystal—the Space Stone. It was purer than before, as if it had undergone a tempering.

The second rift revealed the magnificent scene of a solar storm. It was as if Chu Hang had forcibly fished out fragments belonging to the past from the surging river of time. Countless emerald-green light spots were stripped from the solar wind and coalesced into form—the Time Stone. As soon as it appeared, the surrounding time began to become chaotic, but it was firmly suppressed by Chu Hang using stronger Law Power.

The third rift led to an endless void. When the orange light began to gather, a faint weeping and whispering sounded out of thin air in the conference room; it was the echo left behind by countless Souls. The reappearance of the Soul Stone carried an inherent sense of heaviness and compassion.

Immediately after, violent purple, twisted red, and brilliant yellow... the Power, Reality, and Mind Stones took shape one after another amidst bursts of energy storms.

The six Infinity Stones floated before Chu Hang, each radiating a terrifying power capable of destroying galaxies. They resonated with each other, causing the energy readings of the entire Avengers Base to go completely off the charts, and the underground reactor automatically entered an emergency shutdown state.

Only Thor, enduring this terrifying pressure, stood firm. He gripped Stormbreaker tightly, his eyes fixed on the six stones, battle intent and longing burning in his chest.

"Raise the axe." Chu Hang commanded.

Thor roared, the muscles in his arms bulging as he raised Stormbreaker high above his head.

The six stones floated slowly toward the axe, circling the handle. A flash of divine light shone in Chu Hang's eyes, and with an irresistible will, he slammed the six stones into the six slots!

"Hum—!"

The moment the stones were embedded, it was not a sound of a perfect fit, but a shriek capable of tearing the Soul apart! A devastating energy storm erupted from Stormbreaker!

This power was not a gift, but a backlash! It was the furious struggle of six cosmic origin laws being forcibly bound in one place!

Thor bore the brunt of it. He let out a painful roar, the veins all over his body instantly bulging, and countless golden electric lights burst from his skin. That power was attempting to tear his divine body and Soul into fragments, to completely erase him from the level of existence.

"Aaaaaah—!"

Pure energy flowed from Thor's eyes; he felt as if he were being crushed by the Universe itself. But just on the verge of collapse, his pride and will as the God of Thunder erupted.

"I—am Thor! Son of Odin!"

The divine power within him no longer defended passively; instead, it transformed into the most violent thunder, actively meeting that destructive force. He was not trying to dispel it, but to conquer it! To use his own thunderous divine power to Master these six origin laws!

This was a contest between will and law!

The six-colored light on Stormbreaker and the golden lightning on Thor collided and fused crazily. The slots on the axe handle were no longer a restraint, but had become a furnace for channeling power.

Finally, that violent energy found a vent, found its Master.

The aura on Thor began to climb wildly, instantly breaking through the barrier of the early Skyfather level, soaring all the way to an unprecedented realm. The light in his eyes turned from chaotic to clear; that was proof that the power had been completely mastered. He could clearly "see" the folds of space, the flow of time, and the fragile surface of Reality.

The storm subsided.

Thor floated in mid-air, surrounded by a divine ring interwoven with six-colored light and golden lightning. The blade of Stormbreaker became deeper, as if it could swallow light, and the six stones on the handle, like six beating hearts, resonated perfectly with his divine power.

Chu Hang slowly withdrew his hand, looking at the reborn God of Thunder, and nodded slightly. This weapon, born for the endgame, had finally reached its complete form.

Chapter 245: The Coronation of the Scarlet Witch

Avengers Base Training Ground.

Thor put away Stormbreaker, the light of Six Gemsswirling on the axe handle.

After a day, he could finally fully wield this weapon, and his realm had stabilized at the High-rank Skyfather level. When he grasped Stormbreaker, he could exert the power of the Peak Skyfather level.

Chu Hang stood on the sidelines, with Wanda beside him.

She had been watching for a whole day.

From the moment Thor first held the complete battle axe, to being tormented by the backlash of the Six Laws until he wished for Death, and finally suppressing this power through sheer will.

Thor walked over.

"How do you feel?" Chu Hang asked.

"Like I've lived again." Thor raised the battle axe. "When Father was alive, I didn't understand what power was. Now I do."

Chu Hang nodded.

Thor patted his shoulder and strode away. He was going to find Valkyrie to tell her that New Asgard had a Guardian.

The Training Ground quieted down.

Wanda didn't move.

She stared in the direction Thor had left.

Chu Hang turned his head: "Say whatever you want to say."

"I don't want to be a Burden to you." Wanda's voice was very soft.

"You never were."

"I am." Wanda shook her head. "During the Battle of New York, I could only protect civilians. When you were teleported away, I couldn't do anything."

She turned and looked directly at Chu Hang: "Thor is now High-rank Skyfather level. You are Cosmic Overlord level. What about me? I can't even Control Chaos Magicproperly; every time is like a gamble."

Chu Hang didn't speak.

"I know you've been protecting me," Wanda continued. "It's been that way since Sokovia. But I don't want to hide behind you forever. The Council of Kangs is here, the Multiversal War has begun, and the enemies will only get stronger. I want to stand by your side."

Her voice trembled slightly, but her eyes were firm: "Help me become stronger."

Chu Hang looked at her.

This woman lost her Parents in her teens, was experimented on in a HYDRA lab, finally found her older brother Pietro, and then almost lost him again in Sokovia.

But she had never fallen down.

Chu Hang reached out and grasped her wrist: "The Chaos Magic inside you comes from an Ancient Entity. If you want to become stronger, you must face it directly."

Wanda's pupils constricted slightly.

"I know. Chthon."

Chu Hang nodded.

"Your current state is like holding a sharp blade without a hilt," Chu Hang said. "The power is yours, but you don't have true Control Authority. Every time you use Chaos Magic, you are playing tug-of-war with Chthon's Residual Will."

Wanda clenched her fists.

Of course, she knew. Every time she released Chaos Magic, she could feel something stirring deep within her consciousness.

"What should I do?"

"Face it directly." Chu Hang raised his right hand, and Golden and Silver Light intertwined in his palm. "I will use Reality Warping and Soul Law to construct a Spiritual Corridor for you, guiding you into the deepest part of your consciousness. There, you will meet Chthon's Projection."

Wanda's expression changed: "Projection?"

"Only a Projection," Chu Hang emphasized. "Chthon's main body is sealed in the shadows of the Multiverse and cannot descend personally. But even a Projection can corrupt people's minds and will use your deepest Fears and pain to crush your will."

Wanda was silent for a few seconds: "What if I fail?"

"You won't." Chu Hang's tone was calm. "Because I will be watching nearby. If that Old Bastard dares to touch a single hair on your head, I'll let him know what true Greedis."

Wanda looked into his eyes.

This man never spoke empty words.

"Okay, I'm ready."

Chu Hang didn't act immediately. He turned his head toward the entrance of the Training Ground, where a Silver-haired Young Man was standing.

Pietro.

Quicksilver didn't know when he had arrived. He leaned against the doorframe, his arms crossed over his chest.

"I heard you're going to help My Sister get stronger?" Pietro walked over. "What do you need me to do?"

Chu Hang glanced at him.

During the Sokovia incident, Pietro was riddled with bullets by Ultron while saving Hawkeye and the children. It was Chu Hang who forcibly reversed his Death using the Time Stone.

"Come here, hold your Sister's hand, and don't let go no matter what happens."

Pietro froze for a moment, then walked to Wanda's side and extended his hand.

Wanda looked at her Younger Brother, her eyes red: "You don't have to..."

"Shut up." Pietro interrupted her, his tone sharp but his grip gentle. "You're My Sister, of course I have to be here."

Wanda didn't speak again, gripping his hand back.

Chu Hang watched this scene, a slight smile on his lips.

This was the reason he saved Pietro back then.

Wanda's Chaos Magic originated from emotion, and her deepest Emotional Bond was with this Younger Brother. As long as Pietro was alive, Wanda would never Fall into Darkness.

He was her Anchor.

"It begins."

Chu Hang raised both hands; the Golden and Silver Lightsurged from his palms, weaving Runes in the air. Reality Warping redefined the Rules of Space, and Soul Lawopened a Passage leading to the deepest part of consciousness.

Wanda felt a surge of power envelop her.

Everything went black.

---

Wanda opened her eyes, standing in Boundless Darkness.

Under her feet was the Void, and above her was deeper darkness. There was no light, no sound.

She looked at her hands; Scarlet Energy pulsed at her fingertips.

Then she heard a voice.

"Poor child."

The voice came from all directions, ancient and hoarse.

"You've always been afraid, haven't you? Afraid of Losing Control, afraid of hurting those you love, afraid of becoming a Monster."

Wanda turned to find the Source of the voice.

A Silhouette emerged from the darkness.

It was at least ten meters tall, draped in a tattered Black Cloak, its face hidden in the Hood Shadow. Only a pair of eyes glowed, a Putrid Green.

Chthon.

The Source of Chaos Magic, the Ancient Deity sealed in the shadows of the Multiverse.

"You finally came." Chthon's voice carried satisfaction. "I have waited a long time, my Vessel."

Wanda stepped back, Chaos Magic forming a shieldaround her: "I am not your Vessel."

"Is that so?" Chthon chuckled softly. "Then where did the power within you come from? Who chose you the moment you were born? Who protected you in the HYDRAlaboratory from being torn apart by the Mind Stone Energy?"

Wanda gritted her teeth.

She knew this. Chu Hang had told her that Chaos Magicdid not come from the Mind Stone, but from a more Ancient Entity. The Mind Stone was merely a Catalyst; the true power had always slept in her Bloodline.

"You can have everything." Chthon floated forward, his Black Cloak spreading across the Void. "I will give you true power, so you never Fear Losing Control again, and you can protect everyone you love."

"What is the Price?"

"Price?" Chthon laughed. "There is no Price. You only need to accept me, let me become a part of you. We were one to begin with."

Wanda didn't speak.

Chthon's voice became softer: "You've lost too much, haven't you? Your Parents died under a Bomb; you and your Younger Brother waited in the Ruins for two days and two nights. Then came the HYDRA experiments, the destruction of Sokovia, and Chu Hang's Disappearance."

Wanda's body began to tremble.

Those memories rushed in like a tide. Her Parents' Corpses, Pietro falling after being shot, the Mind Stonebeing gouged out of Vision's forehead by Thanos.

"One day he will tire of you," Chthon continued. "Or you will grow old while he remains young. You will become a Burden to him."

"Shut up." Wanda's voice was shaking.

"I speak the truth." Chthon spread his arms, and darkness spread toward Wanda. "But if you accept me, everything will be different. You will have Eternal Life and Eternal Power. You will never lose anyone again."

The darkness touched Wanda's ankle, icy and bone-chilling.

She wanted to retreat, but her body felt nailed down.

Chthon's laughter echoed in the Void: "Accept me, Wanda. Let us become one."

The darkness climbed her calves, knees, and thighs. Wanda felt the Ancient Will invading her body, attempting to Occupy Soul.

She wanted to resist, but Chthon's words echoed in her mind like a Curse.

Loss. Loneliness. Abandonment.

These were her deepest Fear.

The darkness spread to her waist.

Wanda closed her eyes, on the verge of giving up.

Then she felt something.

A hand.

Warm, strong, gripping her tightly.

It wasn't a sensation from the Spirit World; it was from Reality. It was Pietro.

He was still alive.

He had always been there.

Wanda opened her eyes, the confusion in them dissipating.

"You said I would lose everyone," her voice was no longer shaking. "But you were wrong."

Chthon's movement stalled.

"My Younger Brother is alive." Wanda looked up, staring directly into those green eyes. "Chu Hang saved him. In Sokovia, everyone thought he was dead, but Chu Hangused the Time Stone to bring him back."

The darkness stopped spreading.

"You tried to crush me with Loneliness, but you don't understand." Wanda's voice grew firmer and firmer. "I am never alone. Pietro is here, Chu Hang is here; they have always been here."

She raised her right hand, and the Scarlet Energy burned.

"And you are just an Old Bastard sealed away for who knows how many years. You think you understand me? You think a few words can make me Surrender?"

Chthon's expression changed.

The face beneath the hood was revealed, rotten and covered in Cracks, the Green Light in his eyes becoming ferocious.

"Foolish Child!" The voice was sharp and piercing. "Do you think you have a choice? This body was prepared for me from the very beginning!"

The darkness transformed into countless Tentacles, frantically wrapping around Wanda.

The Chaos Magic shield trembled under the impact.

Chthon's will pressed down like a Great Mountain, aiming to crush her Soul.

This was the power of the Ancient Deity. Even if it was just a Projection, it far exceeded her current Limit.

Cracks appeared in the shield.

Wanda gritted her teeth and desperately resisted, but she couldn't hold on much longer.

Another voice echoed in the Void: "Who are you touching?"

---

Wanda opened her eyes.

She was still standing on the Training Ground. Pietro's hand gripped her wrist tightly, his knuckles white.

Chu Hang stood in front of her, his expression calm: "How do you feel?"

Wanda looked down at her hands. Scarlet Energy flowed at her fingertips, but it was different from before. This power was no longer restless; it was Docile, like a part of her body.

She raised her right hand and waved gently.

The wall at the edge of the Training Ground, which had been destroyed in battle, began to twist. Broken Concrete Blocks floated up, reassembling in the air. Cracks healed, and Bullet Holes vanished. A few seconds later, the wall was restored to its original state, even sturdier than before.

Pietro's mouth dropped open: "You just..."

Wanda didn't answer. She turned toward the Central Open Space of the Training Ground and held out her palm.

Scarlet Light surged from her palm, solidifying in the air. A Rose was born from Nothingness, its petals dripping with freshness and glistening with Dew Glaze.

It wasn't an Illusion; it was Real Matter.

Wanda had created Life.

She could feel every Cell, every Fiber, every drop of Moisture in that Rose. It was truly existent.

"Is this... Modifying Reality?" Wanda's voice trembled.

"More than just modifying," Chu Hang said. "It's Defining. You can now define what is real and what is False. Within the scope of your will, you are the Rule."

Wanda looked up, feeling something forming above her head.

A Crown.

It was condensed from Pure Scarlet Energy, suspended above her forehead, emitting a soft, Majestic Light.

The Coronation of the Scarlet Witch.

Pietro looked at his Sister, his eyes red. He had known since childhood that Wanda was different, but he never imagined she would become this powerful one day.

"Congratulations." Chu Hang's tone was flat, a smile on his lips. "Skyfather level, Officially Initiated."

Wanda turned to him, Complex Emotions flickering in her eyes: "Thank you. And... thank you for saving Pietro."

Chu Hang waved his hand: "I saved him back then because I knew you needed him." He glanced at Pietro. "It turns out I gambled correctly."

Pietro scratched his head, feeling a little embarrassed.

Outside the Training Ground, Rhodey and Sam watched from afar. They had witnessed Wanda repairing the wall and creating Life firsthand; that level of Control over Reality made their Scalps Tingle.

"Another Skyfather level," Rhodey muttered to himself. "Just how many more Monsters can this Base produce?"

Sam didn't speak, silently gripping the shield in his hand.

---

A Dark Corner of the Multiverse.

Chthon's main body opened its eyes.

He felt the moment the Projection was destroyed, and he felt that Overbearing, Greedy Will.

"Interesting."

The ancient voice echoed in the darkness, carrying a Cold, Sinister Smile.

"A Cosmic Overlord level, actually protecting a Mortal Woman."

He felt no anger, only Interest.

"I will remember you, the greedy one."

The darkness closed back in.

Chapter 246: Illuminati Universe

Avengers Base, conference room.

Chu Hang looked at the list on the holographic projection.

Thor, Skyfather level high-rank, wielding the complete Stormbreaker.

Wanda, Skyfather level, Scarlet Witch fully awakened.

Rhodey, Sam, Bucky... these people have been enhanced, but on a universal battlefield, they can only provide support.

Chu Hang's gaze rested on a name: Stephen Strange.

Sorcerer Supreme, magic skills are top-tier, but raw power is insufficient.

The monsters Chu Hang has seen—Thanos, Apocalypse, Ego, Dormammu, Anti-Monitor—which one of them isn't a Law Power level entity?

At Strange's current level, it's hard for him to even protect himself.

Let alone the upcoming Multiverse war. Council of Kangs, Anti-Monitor, and those threats that popped out of nowhere; every one of them is a tough nut to crack.

Thor and Wanda are enough, but this weak point of Strange must be patched.

Chu Hang closed his eyes, and countless pieces of information emerged in his mind.

A transmigrator's greatest advantage isn't a cheat code, but the knowledge of the plot.

Universe 838.

Illuminati Universe.

Chu Hang opened his eyes, a smile curling at the corners of his mouth.

That Universe has two things that Strange needs.

book of vishanti, the peak creation of white magic.

darkhold, the ultimate tome of black magic.

One white, one black; one righteous, one evil. These two books can cause a qualitative change in Strange's strength.

Chu Hang wouldn't be foolish enough to give the darkholddirectly to Strange. That thing is too corrosive; if used improperly, one would succumb to demonic possession.

But he could extract useful knowledge, remove the dangerous parts, and then teach it to him.

Chu Hang turned and looked out the window.

Wanda was practicing Chaos Magic in the training ground, scarlet energy circulating around her, much more stable than before.

He walked over.

Wanda stopped and looked up at him.

"I am going to Universe 838 to find something for Strange."

Wanda frowned:

"Council of Kangs could strike at any time."

"That is why I am sending a clone."

Wanda nodded.

Chu Hang closed his eyes, his consciousness sinking into his body.

Eleven types of Law Power were slowly rotating at the core—Space, Power, Time, Spirit, Reality, Life, Death, Devour, Alchemy, Soul, Phoenix.

He began to extract power to construct a clone.

This time was different from before. When going to The Black Robe Universe, he infused more Alchemy Law. But this time the target was Universe 838, where the magicsystem is highly developed.

Chu Hang retrieved Loki's magic insights from the depths of his memory; that was the SSS-Rank talent he had copied back in Stuttgart.

Also, Ancient One's insights on using the Time Stone, techniques for constructing the Mirror Dimension, and understanding of the Multiverse.

This knowledge was stuffed all at once into the forming clone.

A few minutes later, Chu Hang opened his eyes.

A gap tore open in the air beside him, and a figure exactly like him stepped out.

Chu Hangs Clone flexed his fingers:

"Skyfather level initial stage, good enough."

Chu Hang looked at Chu Hangs Clone:

"The target is the book of vishanti and the darkhold in Universe 838. The former is in Kamar-Taj, the latter in Wundagore Mountain."

Chu Hangs Clone nodded:

"The Strange of that Universe is already dead, executed by the Illuminati."

"They publicly claimed he was a hero who sacrificed himself to defeat Thanos, but in Reality, it was because he used the darkhold to trigger an incursion, almost destroying the entire Universe."

Wanda frowned:

"Illuminati?"

"A bunch of self-righteous guys." Chu Hang said, "Professor X, Mr. Fantastic, Black Bolt, Captain Carter, Baron Mordo, and the Sorcerer Supreme of that Universe. They think they have the qualification to decide the fate of the Universe."

"I am leaving. The defense system over there will respond immediately, and the Illuminati's Ultron Sentinel will come to intercept."

Chu Hang nodded:

"Don't be too high-profile, but there is no need to deliberately hide either."

Chu Hangs Clone grinned:

"Rest assured."

The Spatial Rift expanded, and Chu Hangs Clone stepped in and disappeared.

The rift closed, and the conference room returned to calm.

Wanda looked at Chu Hang:

"Are you sure the clone can get those two books?"

Chu Hang sneered:

"Illuminati? A bunch of idiots sitting in high positions. They can't even stop you, and they want to stop my clone?"

He turned and walked to the window:

"I am not worried about them, but time. The Council of Kangs could strike at any time, and I need to bring Strange's strength up before then."

"What about me?"

"Continue practicing Chaos Magic." Chu Hang said, "When the clone returns, I will extract the essence of the two books, and then you and Strange can learn together."

Wanda's eyes lit up:

"Can I learn too?"

"Your Chaos Magic is inherently of the same origin as the darkhold, so learning it will yield twice the result with half the effort."

...

A Spatial Rift tore open above New York in Universe 838.

Chu Hangs Clone stepped out from it, hovering at an altitude of three hundred meters.

At the first glance, he was stunned.

This New York was completely different from the one he was familiar with.

The streets were as clean as if they had just been washed, lined with flowers and greenery. The exterior walls of high-rise buildings were covered with solar panels and vertical gardens, and there was a faint floral scent in the air.

The sky was a pure blue, with no smog.

Pedestrians on the street were dressed neatly, with calm smiles on their faces. There were no beggars, no trash, and no blaring car horns.

Utopia.

This word popped into Chu Hangs Clone's mind.

He landed on a main street. Pedestrians around saw him appear out of thin air, just glanced at him curiously, and then continued on their way.

Chu Hangs Clone walked along the street for a few minutes and came to a familiar building.

Greenwich Village Sanctuary.

But this was no longer a Sanctuary.

The building's exterior walls had been repainted, and a three-meter-tall bronze statue stood at the entrance. The statue was a man in mage robes, hands in a hand seal, cape fluttering behind him.

Stephen Strange.

A line of text was engraved on the base of the statue: He sacrificed his Life to defeat Thanos, the eternal Sorcerer Supreme.

Chu Hangs Clone looked at this line of text, a cold smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

Sacrificed his Life?

He knew too well how this Strange had died.

To fight Thanos, this guy used the darkhold. The power of that book was indeed strong, but the price was equally terrifying. Strange used it to trigger an incursion, and although he defeated Thanos, he almost destroyed the entire Universe.

The Illuminati were terrified.

They held a secret meeting and voted to execute Strange.

The executioner was Black Bolt.

That man, who could destroy everything with his voice, said only one word and shattered Strange's head into pieces.

Then they publicly announced that Strange was a hero, a great Sorcerer who sacrificed himself to save the Universe.

How ironic.

Chu Hangs Clone withdrew his gaze and turned to leave the statue.

He did not deliberately hide his aura. As a Skyfather levelexistence from another Universe, his energy fluctuations were like a torch in the dark night in this World.

Sure enough, just a few steps later, the roar of engines came from the sky.

Six silver-white robots dove down from the clouds, forming a perimeter around him.

Ultron Sentinel.

The Ultron of this Universe did not lose control; instead, it was transformed by the Illuminati into a tool for maintaining peace. Each Sentinel had an independent artificial intelligence, with combat power equivalent to a small Avenger.

The leading Sentinel's eyes flashed with red light, and a mechanical voice sounded:

"Detected unknown dimensional intruder, energy level exceeds measurable range. Please stop all actions immediately and wait for Illuminati members to arrive and handle this."

Chu Hangs Clone stood where he was, examining these robots with interest.

The workmanship was not bad, much more refined than the Ultron of his Universe.

But that was all.

"Warning, you have ten seconds to cooperate. Otherwise, we will take mandatory measures." The leading Sentinel's arm deformed, revealing an energy cannon muzzle.

Chu Hangs Clone laughed:

"Mandatory measures?"

He raised his right hand and flicked his index finger lightly.

A spatial ripple, almost invisible to the naked eye, spread out.

The six Ultron Sentinels froze simultaneously, then, as if gripped by an invisible hand, their shells began to twist and deform. The metal emitted a harsh screeching sound, circuit boards crackled, and sparks flew everywhere.

Three seconds later, the six high-tech weapons, costing billions, turned into six piles of scrap metal and crashed to the ground.

Chu Hangs Clone withdrew his hand and brushed off the non-existent dust.

Is that it?

He looked up at the sky, knowing that the Illuminati had already received the alarm.

Professor X, Mr. Fantastic, Black Bolt, Captain Carter, Baron Mordo... these self-righteous guys would soon appear before him.

Chu Hangs Clone was in no hurry to leave, so he found a park bench and sat down.

He closed his eyes, his spiritual power spreading like ripples, covering the entire New York.

In some corner of the city, he sensed a familiar energy fluctuation.

Chaos Magic.

But this energy was very weak, as if it was being deliberately suppressed.

Chu Hangs Clone opened his eyes, the smile at the corner of his mouth deepening.

The Wanda of this Universe should still be an ordinary housewife, right? Living in a small house in the suburbs, with two cute children, worrying about what to make for dinner every day.

I wonder if she would remember that she was once a Witch who could rewrite Reality.

Chu Hangs Clone withdrew his spiritual power and stood up.

That Wanda was not the target of this trip, so there was no need to complicate things.

He looked up at the sky and could feel several powerful auras approaching rapidly.

Professor X's spiritual power was like invisible tentacles, trying to probe into his consciousness. Chu Hangs Clonesneered, and with a slight tremor of his Law of Spirit, those tentacles recoiled immediately as if they had touched a hot iron plate.

Far away at the Illuminati headquarters, Charles Xavieropened his eyes abruptly, cold sweat seeping from his forehead.

He had never encountered such a situation.

The intruder's spiritual defense was not a wall; it was an abyss. As soon as his consciousness touched it, he felt a suffocating sense of oppression.

That was an existence far beyond his cognition.

In the conference room, Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards, was analyzing the data sent back by the Ultron Sentinels.

"The energy readings exceed all known standards." Reed's voice was calm, but his brows were furrowed tightly, "This intruder's dimensional characteristics are completely different from our Universe; he comes from the other side of the Multiverse."

Black Bolt sat in the corner, not saying a word. His wife, Medusa, stood by his side, conveying his opinion for him:

"His Majesty believes that we should observe first and not act rashly."

Captain Carter, Peggy Carter, stood up, her hand resting on the holster at her waist:

"Observe? He has already destroyed six Ultron Sentinels, right in our capital!"

Baron Mordo crossed his arms and spoke coldly:

"Those Sentinels couldn't even last a second in front of him. Do you think we would have a different result if we rushed up?"

The conference room fell into silence.

Charles rubbed his temples, his voice hoarse:

"I tried to read his mind, but failed. His spiritual defense... no, that's not a defense; that's a complete Law Domain."

Reed slid his fingers across the holographic screen, pulling up more data:

"According to the energy fluctuation analysis, his strength is at least Skyfather level or above. Possibly higher."

Skyfather level.

This word silenced everyone present.

Their Universe had once had Skyfather level existences, but those were ancient deities like Odin and Zeus. What did it mean for a living Skyfather level powerhouse to appear on the streets of New York?

"What does he want?" Peggy Carter asked the question on everyone's mind.

No one could answer.

...

Chu Hangs Clone had already left the front of the Sanctuary.

He walked slowly along the street, as if taking a stroll. Pedestrians around still came and went, and no one knew what had just happened.

Chu Hangs Clone's goal was very clear.

The book of vishanti is in Kamar-Taj, now under the control of Baron Mordo. The darkhold is on Wundagore Mountain, sealed by the Illuminati.

Two books, two locations, two tough battles.

But he was not in a hurry.

The Illuminati gang must be holding a meeting right now, discussing how to deal with him. Let them discuss; the longer they discuss, the better.

Chu Hangs Clone found a coffee shop and sat down, ordering an Americano.

The waitress was a blonde girl with a sweet smile:

"Sir, are you from out of town?"

Chu Hangs Clone picked up the coffee and took a sip:

"In a way. Here to handle some business."

He looked through the glass window at the distant skyline, a meaningful smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

Illuminati.

A bunch of idiots who think they can decide the fate of the Universe.

They will soon know what a real powerhouse looks like.

Chapter 247: Trial? You Are Not Worthy

Inside the corner café, the rich aroma had not yet dissipated, but the World outside the window was already grim.

Chu Hangs Clone set down his white porcelain cup, his calm gaze piercing through the glass to reveal six figures slowly closing in.

Like fishermen pulling in a net, they sealed off this small space completely.

At the lead was the bald old man sitting in a floating wheelchair, Professor X, Charles Xavier.

The metal piece on his temple shimmered with a faint light, and his immense Spirit spread out like a tide, yet it carefully bypassed Chu Hang's sea of consciousness, as if avoiding a bottomless whirlpool.

In his eyes, there was no judgment, only extreme solemnity and inquiry.

On the right, Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards, with graying temples, had eyes as sharp as knives.

One hand supported a silver disc with a constantly swirling halo, while the other hand tapped the air, seemingly calculating something.

This smartest brain on Earth did not have a completely confident expression at this moment, but rather a caution when facing an unknown variable.

On the left, Black Bolt, Blackagar Boltagon, wore a pure black combat suit, the tuning fork-shaped mark on his forehead silent and majestic.

He said nothing, but the surrounding air distorted and trembled slightly due to his silent pressure.

The red-haired woman beside him, Medusa, worriedly gripped his arm, as if soothing a lion about to roar.

Behind them, the blonde Captain Carter held her vibranium shield, standing tall like a pine, her eyes firm—that was the determination of a warrior.

And beside her, the black female Captain Marvel, MariaRambeau, floated in mid-air, photon energy rising around her like solar prominences, illuminating her face with a solemn look.

The last person was Baron Mordo, dressed in green sorcerer robes.

His chin was held high, his gaze full of condescending scrutiny, as if he had not come for a confrontation, but to read out a predetermined verdict.

Chu Hangs Clone recognized him.

In his own Universe, this guy had betrayed his master because the Ancient One borrowed power from the Dark Dimension, becoming a paranoid sorcerer hunter.

Yet in this Universe, he had actually become a member of the Illuminati, Guardians of the World.

Reality... a brilliant irony.

"Invader from another dimension."

Mordo spoke, his voice loud and carrying an irrefutable majesty, "Your existence poses a threat to the stability of the Multiverse. The Illuminati is here to demand that you surrender all dangerous items and unconditionally accept our review."

As his words landed, the air seemed to solidify.

Chu Hangs Clone finished the last sip of coffee in the cup, making a soft "click" sound.

He pushed open the door and stepped out slowly, a playful smile on his face.

"Review?"

He chuckled aloud, his gaze sweeping over each tense face, "A group of executioners who personally executed their own Universe's Sorcerer Supreme, what right do you have to review me?"

This sentence was like a depth charge thrown into a still lake, instantly stirring up a thousand-foot wave.

The arrogance on Mordo's face instantly collapsed, turning into shock and anger.

"You... what nonsense are you spouting!"

He shouted sternly, but could not hide the trembling in his voice, "Dr. Strange was a hero who sacrificed himself to save the Universe—"

Charles's wheelchair slid back half a step unconsciously; he closed his eyes, seemingly unwilling to face this exposed bloody scar.

Reed's gaze moved rapidly between Chu Hang and Charles, his brows locked tight, seemingly reassessing the situation before him.

"Sacrifice?"

Chu Hangs Clone interrupted Mordo's defense, his voice turning cold suddenly, "He used the darkhold to trigger a Universe collision, nearly destroying a Reality with his own hands. You feared him losing control after being corrupted by the darkhold, so you held a secret meeting and decided his fate by a vote."

His gaze landed precisely on Black Bolt, whose body instantly went rigid.

"The executioner, was it you?"

Chu Hang's voice was not loud, but every word was heart-piercing, "With just one word, you made his head explode, leaving no corpse behind."

Black Bolt's throat rolled, his fists clenched tight, and the air around him vibrated even more violently.

Medusa gripped his arm tightly, her eyes full of pleading.

"And then," Chu Hangs Clone scanned the crowd, clapping his hands mockingly, "You erected statues for him, wrote eulogies, and made the whole World remember his 'heroic sacrifice.' Truly remarkable—playing the executioner while also setting up a monument to your own virtue. As expected of the Illuminati."

"Enough!"

Mr. Fantastic Reed stepped forward, the silver disc in his hand glowing brightly, and a visible energy force field suddenly expanded, attempting to envelop Chu Hangs Clone.

"Regardless of whether what you say is true or false, your existence itself is a threat! This antimatter continuum force field generator can isolate your energy link with your mother Universe. I advise you one last time: give up resistance!"

The force field brushed over Chu Hangs Clone's body, and he clearly felt a subtle frequency interfering with the energy flow between him and his main body.

Although weak, it did exist.

Interesting.

He tilted his head slightly, a crimson halo flashing deep within his pupils.

[Reality Warping]

The next second, the precision instrument spinning at high speed in Reed's hand, amidst a teeth-grinding sound of metal twisting, instantly turned into a ticking small grenade.

Reed's expression changed drastically; he instinctively threw it away.

But before the grenade had flown two meters, with a dull "boom," a violent Impact blew him back several steps, his palm was blistered, and his face was filled with the shock of a scientist facing the wanton manipulation of physical laws.

"Nice toy," Chu Hangs Clone commented, "Remember to put the safety on next time."

Just then, rage erupted in Black Bolt's eyes; he opened his mouth, preparing to release the quasi-sonic wave capable of shattering mountains!

However, he could not make any sound.

The air around his lips, along with all the media within it, was extracted in an instant, forming an absolute vacuum ball.

Without air as a carrier, the power of the sonic wave was locked tightly in his throat.

"Urgh—!"

Black Bolt's face turned purple-red, terrifying energy rampaging inside him, shaking his internal organs as if they were about to be torn apart.

He clutched his throat in pain, kneeling on one knee, a trace of blood spilling from his tightly closed mouth.

He could feel his vocal cords and lungs being destroyed inch by inch by his own power.

"Your power is very strong," Chu Hangs Clone looked down at him, his tone flat, "But in front of me, you'd better learn to shut up."

On the left and right, strong winds whistled!

Captain Carter and Captain Marvel launched an attack simultaneously.

One held her shield like a mountain, cutting in fiercely from the left; the other turned into a golden meteor, flanking at high speed from the right, their fierce offensive sealing off all escape routes.

Chu Hangs Clone didn't even glance sideways, just slowly raised his left hand, five fingers slightly spread.

In an instant, time seemed to freeze.

The two superheroes, known for their strength and speed, seemed to have hit an invisible yet infinitely solid wall, frozen stiff in mid-air.

Captain Carter's vibranium shield was less than thirty centimeters from Chu Hang's cheek, the shield surface buzzing from the huge kinetic energy, but it could not advance even an inch further.

She tried her best, veins bulging on her neck, her whole body's muscles trembling, but she found herself like a mosquito encased in amber, unable to move.

Captain Marvel Maria's situation was even stranger.

The photon energy in her body was still burning crazily, attempting to break through this invisible restraint, but the golden flames, as soon as they left her body, were forced back by an even more brutal force.

She felt like a pressure cooker with all its outlets blocked, energy surging inside her but finding no way to vent, that sense of despair and powerlessness nearly driving her crazy.

Chu Hangs Clone walked to Captain Carter with leisurely steps, extended a finger, and tapped it lightly on the center of the vibranium shield.

"Hum—"

The shield let out a wail and trembled violently.

"Nice material," he said softly, "Unfortunately, the person wielding it is too weak."

Immediately, he turned to Maria, a trace of disappointment appearing in his eyes.

"Your energy is abundant, but your understanding of it... is a blank slate. The essence of photon energy is the transformation and application of cosmic rays; you have only learned the most superficial release, but have never touched its core. Compared to the Captain Marvel of my Universe, you are lacking by more than just a little."

Before he finished speaking, he made a grasping motion in the air.

The flames around Maria seemed to be gripped by an invisible giant hand, instantly dimming and then completely extinguishing.

Her face turned pale as paper, and she fell from mid-air.

The energy was still in her body, but it was as if a lock that could not be broken had been added, and she could no longer mobilize even a fraction of it.

Chu Hangs Clone released his hand, and Captain Carteralso lost her strength, falling to the ground in a sorry state.

Finally, his gaze landed on Professor Charles.

Professor X in the wheelchair was pale, his forehead covered in cold sweat.

From the moment the battle began, he had desperately extended his psychic power toward that man, trying to find even the slightest weakness.

But he found nothing.

That man's Spirit World was not a barrier, not a maze, but a... abyss.

A cold, dead, vast, and boundless dark abyss.

His consciousness merely touched the edge of that abyss and felt a sense of suppression originating from the level of Life itself, one that was nearly suffocating.

That was not defense, but the natural indifference of a god toward mortals.

Chu Hangs Clone walked in front of him and leaned down slightly.

"You have been peeking all along. So, what did you see?"

Charles panted with difficulty, his voice hoarse and dry: "You... you are not just a dimensional projection."

"Continue."

"Behind you... there is a greater... a much greater existence."

Charles's voice carried uncontrollable trembling and awe, "An existence I cannot understand, cannot imagine. His consciousness... covers the entire Multiverse. And you..."

He raised his head, his eyes filled with terrified realization: "You are just a finger... extended by Him."

Chu Hangs Clone smiled, this time, it was heartfelt approval.

"As expected of Professor X. You are the only person today who said one thing right."

He turned around and walked toward Mordo, who was struggling on the ground.

Mordo wanted to crawl up, but his legs were as soft as noodles.

He looked up at the approaching Chu Hang, his eyes filled with fear for the first time.

Chu Hangs Clone squatted down and gently placed his palm on his forehead.

A cold, precise, emotionless power instantly invaded his mind, like an administrator with the highest authority, wantonly browsing through all his memories.

Mordo's prideful Spirit defense was as thin as a cicada's wing before this power, collapsing at a single touch.

A few seconds later, Chu Hangs Clone withdrew his hand and stood up.

"Found it. book of vishanti, Kamar-Taj forbidden library, seventh floor, the deepest secret chamber."

Mordo's face turned ashen.

That was the most core secret of Kamar-Taj, which even he, the successor to the Sorcerer Supreme, had no authority to enter.

And this man, in just a few seconds, had dug it out of his brain.

Chu Hangs Clone scanned this group of "Earth's strongest heroes" lying on the ground one last time.

"Today's affair counts as a small lesson."

His voice returned to calm, yet it clearly reached everyone's ears, "I came to this Universe only to take a few things. Once I have them, I will leave."

He raised his right hand and casually drew an arc in the air in front of him.

Golden sparks splattered, and a rotating portal opened out of thin air; on the other side of the door were snow-capped, continuous mountains.

"But if you disturb me again..."

He looked back, a cold arc curling at the corner of his mouth.

"I would not mind destroying this fragile utopia of yours with my own hands."

As his words fell, he stepped into the portal.

With a flash of golden light, the portal dissipated without a trace.

On the street, there was deathly silence.

Only the whimpering sound of wind blowing through the empty alley remained.

The six members of the Illuminati, the Guardians of this Universe's Reality, the strongest line of defense, were now kneeling or sitting, in a sorry state, and not one of them could stand.

In front of that man, they hadn't even lasted a minute.

Charles Xavier slowly closed his eyes, but that vast, dead Spirit abyss had already become an eternal brand, deeply carved into his Soul.

Chapter 248: book of vishanti

Deep in the Himalayas, Kamar-Taj.

In the plaza before the main hall, twelve mages in orange robes held magic arrays, their runes glowing with golden light. They were the sanctuary's most elite guards, each with over thirty years of cultivation.

But at this moment, their faces were all taut.

Three minutes ago, a golden rift appeared out of thin air above the sanctuary, directly tearing through the defensive barrier of Kamar-Taj.

Chu Hangs Clone walked out from the rift, hovering in mid-air, looking down.

He did not speak, just took a glance.

The twelve mages froze simultaneously.

Their bodies could not move, the magic arrays in their hands were still flashing, and their lips remained in the shape of chanting spells.

Pure mental suppression.

The mental power of Chu Hangs Clone was like a great mountain, pressing directly onto their consciousness. The mental defense techniques these mages took such pride in were nothing in the face of this level of pressure.

He floated over their heads and walked into the depths of the sanctuary.

His target was very clear—the Forbidden Library, the seventh floor, the innermost secret chamber.

The intelligence extracted from Mordo's brain was precise to every corner.

He passed through the main hall, the corridors, and through doors engraved with runes. The defensive arrays on the doors lit up, trying to block the intruder.

But in the face of his mental power, these arrays extinguished themselves before they could even activate.

They were not broken; they were scared out.

The corner of Chu Hangs Clone's mouth curled up.

The magic system of this Universe was indeed developed, but that was about it. In the face of true power, even the most exquisite magic arrays were just decorations.

He walked down the seventh-floor stairs and arrived before a giant stone door.

The door was engraved with complex runes, emitting a faint white light.

The Mark of the Vishanti.

A sound of strong wind came from behind.

Baron Mordo had arrived.

His face was livid, and his robes were still stained with dust from the streets of Manhattan. It had taken him only three minutes to rush back from the Illuminatiheadquarters.

Still too late.

"You cannot enter!" Mordo shouted sternly.

He formed seals with both hands, and complex runes lit up on the ground beneath his feet. The runes spread along the cracks in the stone slabs, quickly covering the entire corridor, then the entire building, and finally the whole of Kamar-Taj.

The Vishanti defensive array.

The last line of defense left by Strange, it fused the power of the three Vishanti gods and was enough to withstand an invasion of Dormammu level.

Golden light surged from all directions, forming a giant cage around Chu Hangs Clone.

A flash of smugness crossed Mordo's eyes.

"This sanctuary has existed for thousands of years, and countless evil beings have tried to lay their hands on the knowledge here." He regained that condescending arrogance, "They all failed."

"You are no exception."

Chu Hangs Clone stood in the center of the golden cage, examining the surrounding runes.

This array was indeed exquisite. The power of the three Vishanti intertwined, forming an almost perfect sealing structure. An ordinary Skyfather level being would likely really be trapped for a while.

Pity.

He was not an ordinary Skyfather level.

Chu Hangs Clone raised his right hand and tapped his index finger lightly on the golden wall of light in front of him.

He just tapped it once.

The entire Vishanti defensive array shattered.

It shattered like glass.

The golden runes turned into dots of light filling the sky, scattering in the air. Those ancient Marks that carried the power of the three gods were as fragile as autumn leaves before his fingertips.

Mordo's face changed from livid to ashen.

His strongest defense had not even lasted a second in front of this man.

"No... impossible..."

His voice was trembling.

Chu Hangs Clone withdrew his finger and turned to look at him.

"You mages have a problem." His tone was very flat, "You always feel that because you have grasped the mysteries of the Universe, you can boss everyone around."

"But there is one thing you do not understand."

He took a step forward, and Mordo retreated subconsciously.

"In the face of true power, your mysteries, your arrays, your gods... are nothing."

Mordo wanted to retort, wanted to summon more magic, wanted to do something.

But he could not move.

It was not that he was imprisoned, but his body instinctively refused to act.

That was the fear engraved in his genes, the instinctive reaction of prey facing a top predator.

Chu Hangs Clone ignored him, turned, and pushed open the stone door engraved with the Mark of the Vishanti.

Behind the door was a circular secret chamber, the walls engraved with ancient runes, emitting a soft white light.

In the very center of the chamber, a thick book floated in mid-air.

The book of vishanti.

The supreme tome of White magic, recording all the light magic bestowed upon the world by the three Vishantigods.

Chu Hangs Clone walked over and reached out his hand.

The book moved.

A blinding white light erupted from the pages and slammed into his palm.

Chu Hangs Clone looked down at his palm.

The white light slammed into it, not even leaving a trace.

He looked up, watching the floating tome, a playful look flashing in his eyes.

Interesting.

This book had its own will.

He could feel that the white light was not an attack, but a rejection. Just like a proud noble driving away an uninvited guest.

The pages turned automatically, rustling. Lines of ancient runes appeared in the air, forming a curtain of light, wrapping the entire book within it.

Chu Hangs Clone understood those runes.

"Those with darkness in their hearts may not touch."

"Those intending to plunder may not approach."

"Only a pure heart can bear the gift of the Vishanti."

He laughed.

"A pure heart?"

He took a step forward, and the runes on the light curtain flickered violently.

"Do you know how many types of power I have in my body?"

Another step.

"Law of Death, Law of Life, Law of Strength, Space Law, Law of Time, Law of Reality, Law of Spirit, Soul Law, Law of Body, Devouring Law, Alchemy Law, Phoenix..."

He counted as he walked, and by the end, even he could not count them all.

The light curtain began to tremble, the runes' light becoming more blinding, resisting desperately.

"By your standards, I am probably the least pure existence in this Multiverse."

Chu Hangs Clone stopped before the light curtain and extended his right hand.

"But you got one thing wrong."

Deep in his pupils, a flash of scarlet light emerged. It was not anger, not killing intent, but something more essential.

Greed.

This was his core concept, the foundation for breaking through to the Cosmic Overlord level.

"I am not here to ask you to bestow knowledge."

His voice was low, carrying unquestionable pressure.

"I am here to take it."

The Concept of Greed spread like substance, enveloping the entire secret chamber.

This was not energy, not a law, but a higher-dimensional form of existence. At the concept layer, Greed represented endless taking, representing desire and plunder for everything.

The runes on the light curtain began to twist.

Those ancient characters representing purity, justice, and devotion dimmed one by one under the erosion of the Concept of Greed.

The book of vishanti let out a mournful cry.

Like a proud god, forced to bow to a mortal for the first time.

"You three Vishanti gods, Agamotto, Hoggoth, Oshtur." Chu Hangs Clone's voice was terrifyingly calm, "In my Universe, you are considered big shots."

"But they never interfered with me."

"You, a book, by what right?"

The light curtain shattered.

The ancient runes turned into specks of starlight and dissipated into the air. The book of vishanti lost all its defenses and floated lonely before Chu Hangs Clone.

The pages stopped turning, and the light dimmed.

Like a tamed Beast, it completely gave up resistance.

Chu Hangs Clone did not touch the book.

He just extended his hand, his palm facing the pages.

Law of Spirit activated.

His consciousness, like countless fine threads, pierced into the book. Every page of content, every rune, every way of constructing magic, could not escape his mental scan.

This was not reading, but plundering.

He used the crudest method to copy all the White magicknowledge accumulated by this book over thousands of years into his mind.

The light of the book of vishanti grew dimmer and dimmer.

The pages, originally as white as jade, began to turn gray and withered, as if all their Life force had been drained.

Mordo's desperate roar came from outside the door.

"No—!"

Chu Hangs Clone ignored it.

Thirty seconds later, he withdrew his hand.

The book of vishanti fell from mid-air, hitting the ground with a dull thud.

It was still that book, but it was no longer that book.

All the knowledge was still on the pages, but that holy will, that power that rejected darkness, had been completely stripped away.

It had become an ordinary magic tome.

Chu Hangs Clone turned around and looked at Mordo, who was kneeling at the door, trembling all over.

"Returning the book to you."

He lifted his foot and kicked the book on the ground over.

"I have taken the knowledge."

Mordo knelt on the ground, picking up the book with trembling hands.

The pages were the same pages, the runes the same runes. But that holy light, that will that rejected all darkness, had completely disappeared.

Just like a shell that had its Soul extracted.

He looked up, wanting to say something, but only a hoarse, breathy sound came from his throat.

Chu Hangs Clone had already walked to the entrance of the secret chamber.

He stopped, turned his head, and glanced at Mordo.

"Don't be too sad."

His tone was very casual, like he was comforting a child who had lost a toy.

"The knowledge is still there, just the will is gone. If you are smart enough, you should be able to learn quite a bit from it. Of course, that is assuming you can understand it."

After speaking, he stepped out of the secret chamber.

Mordo's suppressed roar came from behind, but Chu Hangs Clone did not even turn his head.

He walked out the way he came, those mages fixed by mental pressure still maintaining their original postures, though their eyeballs were spinning frantically.

Chu Hangs Clone passed through them, like walking through a wax museum.

When he walked out of the Kamar-Taj gate, he looked up at the sky.

At the peak of the snowy mountain, the sunlight was blinding.

The next target, Wundagore Mountain.

The darkhold was there.

He raised his right hand, preparing to tear open space.

His movement stopped.

His brow furrowed slightly.

He sensed something.

In a corner of this Universe, a wave of energy was slowly awakening. That energy was too familiar to him; it was almost exactly the same as the Wanda in his own Universe.

Chaos Magic.

But it was also somewhat different.

This energy was very weak, as if suppressed by something, or rather, the Master had chosen to sleep.

Chu Hangs Clone closed his eyes, his mental power spreading like ripples.

He found the source of that energy.

New Jersey, Westview.

In an ordinary suburban house, a red-haired woman was preparing dinner in the kitchen. Two children were playing beside her, and the living room TV was playing a soap opera.

Wanda Maximoff.

The Wanda of this Universe.

An ordinary housewife, with a husband, with children, with a seemingly perfect Life.

But Chu Hangs Clone could feel that beneath her calm exterior, something was stirring.

That was the instinct of Chaos Magic.

It was calling out to its Master.

And the reason that triggered this call was very likely his plundering of the book of vishanti just now.

The supreme tome of White magic had been profaned, the magic system of this Universe had fluctuated, and as the natural vessel of Chaos Magic, Wanda had sensed this fluctuation.

Interesting.

Chu Hangs Clone opened his eyes, the corner of his mouth curling up.

However, this was not something he needed to worry about right now.

His target was the darkhold, not the Wanda of this Universe.

As for whether this housewife would awaken because of his arrival, that was not something he could control.

He raised his right hand and drew an arc in the air.

Golden sparks sputtered, and a portal opened.

On the other side of the door was a black mountain peak shrouded in mist.

Wundagore Mountain.

The location of the darkhold.

It was said that the Guardians there were completely different from the mages of Kamar-Taj.

Chu Hangs Clone stepped into the portal, his figure disappearing into the golden light.

In Westview, thousands of miles away, Wanda, who was cutting vegetables, suddenly stopped.

Her eyes were dazed for a moment, as if she had heard some distant voice.

"Mom?"

The child's call brought her back to her senses.

She looked down at the kitchen knife in her hand, stunned for a moment, then smiled and shook her head.

"It's nothing, honey. Mommy just... zoned out."

Chapter 249: Wundagore Mountain

The portal closed silently at the foot of Wundagore Mountain, the last spark fading away.

Chu Hangs Clone looked up, surveying the mountain range before him.

The mountain peak was enveloped in a layer of thick black liquid; it wasn't mist, but a writhing, semi-solid magical substance that clung to the mountain like a giant living creature, each pulse emitting a nauseating energy.

A heavy, sticky scent filled the air—the stench of rotting flesh mixed with hellish sulfur, thick enough to choke someone.

He released his Spirit power, spreading up the mountain like an invisible spiderweb.

There was something in the mountain, and more than one. Those mental fluctuations were murky and frenzied, like a stirred-up mire; their consciousness was blurred and thoughts shattered, but their bone-chilling hostility was as clear as a lighthouse in the dark.

"Corrupted Guardians..." Chu Hangs Clone murmured to himself, information unearthed from Mordo's memories surfacing in his mind.

The watchmen of Wundagore Mountain were once a group of Black Mages who pursued ultimate power.

They had sacrificed their flesh and souls to the darkhold in exchange for a twisted immortality.

Hundreds of years had passed, and they were no longer human, but existences more troublesome than the rule-abiding mages of Kamar-Taj.

The trouble didn't stem from their strength, but from their nature—they feared no Death, knew no pain, and possessed no weaknesses that followed common logic.

They were pure dark creations born for slaughter.

Chu Hangs Clone set off and began to climb the mountain.

He didn't choose to fly or teleport, but simply stepped onto that pitch-black soil one step at a time.

The black substance beneath his feet churned violently as he approached, like living tissue splashed with boiling oil, yet it recoiled in instinctive fear, forming an absolute vacuum zone two meters in diameter around him.

These dark magical substances could clearly sense the Law of Death within him, a power that reigned supreme over all.

For darkness, Death is the end, a judgment from a higher dimension.

Halfway up the mountain, the first Guardian appeared.

It "squeezed" out of the viscous black mist, its form hunched and twisted, with grayish-white skin tightly wrapped around its skeleton.

There were no eyes on its face, only two bottomless, hollow sockets and a massive mouth that split all the way to its ears.

"Heh—!"

A screech unlike any biological creature tore through the air; the sound seemed to scrape directly against the soul, filled with shattered madness and eternal hunger.

Responding to it were more figures surging from all directions. Ten, twenty, fifty... they crawled out from the shadows of the mountain rocks and the writhing black liquid, surrounding Chu Hangs Clone.

Within every hollow eye socket, a ghostly green soul fireignited, locking onto the intruder in the center.

Chu Hangs Clone stopped and looked around at these monsters that had long since lost their human form, a cold arc curling at the corner of his mouth.

"Another intruder who doesn't know the meaning of Death..." the lead Guardian uttered in intermittent, piercing syllables; the sound didn't come from vocal cord vibrations, but rather sounded like the wails of countless lost souls intertwined in the depths of hell.

In an instant, all the Guardians roared together, their voices converging into a visible black Impact that carried enough dark magic to tear apart the mind, bearing down ruthlessly on Chu Hangs Clone.

However, Chu Hangs Clone remained standing still, as steady as a mountain.

The moment the Impact hit his body, it was like a raging tide striking an eternal reef; there was no earth-shattering roar, only a silent, total disintegration and annihilation.

The Guardians' roars stopped abruptly, their ghostly green soul fires flickering violently, revealing an emotion akin to "bewilderment." They had existed for centuries and seen countless mages attempt to climb the mountain—the strong, the wise, the cunning... but they had never seen anyone completely immune to pure dark magic.

Chu Hangs Clone slowly raised his right hand, a pale gold light appearing in his palm, flowing like precise celestial tracks.

Alchemy Law.

"Your essence is nothing more than humans reshaped by the darkhold." He spoke in a flat tone, as if stating an obvious fact. "Flesh, bone, and even souls were dismantled by that book and then 'reassembled' using dark energy."

He paused, his gaze sweeping across the twisted faces. "In other words, you are just a pile of contaminated, structurally unstable raw materials."

The moment his words fell, he clenched his fingers.

The Guardian closest to him began to twist and decompose without warning. The skin, muscle, and bone that made up its form were forcibly dismantled from a microscopic level by an invisible force, turning into a handful of grayish-white powder that quietly dispersed in the black mist.

There was no scream, no struggle, not even an explosion of energy. It was simply "erased."

This scene, which surpassed understanding, finally made the remaining Guardians feel true fear. They stopped testing him and unleashed all their power simultaneously. The dark magic within the fifty-plus ancient beings gushed out, weaving into a giant net in the sky that covered the horizon. Every node flashed with destructive runes as it descended upon Chu Hangs Clone.

Facing an attack capable of turning a city into a wasteland, Chu Hangs Clone merely sighed softly.

He raised his left hand.

Law of Death.

A wisp of grayish-black aura spread from his palm; it had no light, no heat, and even no sound. But wherever it passed, time seemed to be stripped away, and space fell into absolute silence. That massive black magic net touched this aura, it withered and disintegrated like a dry leaf thrown into a fire, completely "dying" at its most basic energy structure.

The essence of the Law of Death is to "define the end" for all things.

For these Guardians, who were no longer living beings, their "Death" was a complete disappearance at the concept layer.

The grayish-black aura spread like ripples, gently brushing past the body of every Guardian.

Their movements froze instantly.

In the hollow eye sockets, the ghostly green soul fires that had burned for centuries began to flicker violently, their light dimming rapidly, until finally, they were extinguished one by one like snuffed-out candles.

Ten seconds later, the mountainside returned to a dead silence, with only Chu Hangs Clone remaining. Those fifty-plus Guardians, who had once struck terror into the hearts of countless mages, left not even a trace of ash, as if they had never existed.

Chu Hangs Clone withdrew his hands and continued walking upward.

His pace was not fast, as if he were taking a stroll in his own garden. But with every step he took, the black mistshrouding Wundagore Mountain receded a bit further, and the writhing magical substances beneath his feet trembled as if meeting a natural enemy, actively clearing a path for him.

The summit was getting closer.

He could feel that the book was right there.

darkhold.

A familiar yet strange energy fluctuation came from the summit. That fluctuation shared the same source as the Chaos Magic of the Main Universe's Wanda, yet it was entirely different—more primitive, more violent, and more... pure.

The corner of Chu Hangs Clone's mouth curled slightly. This journey seemed to be more interesting than expected.

The summit was a vast circular platform with a Black Stone Altar standing in the center. The material of the altar was unknown, its surface carved with countless twisted runes. Unlike the magic circles of Kamar-Taj, which pursued harmony and order, these runes presented a morbid, frenzied beauty, as if they were scars torn from within by some terrifying entity and then forcibly sewn back together, every stroke speaking of pain and chaos.

In the very center of the altar, a book floated quietly.

darkhold.

Chu Hangs Clone stopped, his gaze falling on the book. It was slightly smaller than the book of vishanti, with a deep dark red cover like blood that had coagulated for a thousand years. The edges of the pages glowed with a faint black light, flowing slowly in the air like mist.

He could clearly perceive that the power represented by this book formed a perfect opposition to the book of vishanti. The book of vishanti was the embodiment of light, order, and protection, while the darkhold was the source of darkness, chaos, and predation.

But what truly surprised him was that, besides these two opposing powers, a third thing was hidden within the book.

An energy fluctuation he was extremely familiar with—Chaos Magic.

It was exactly the same as the power within the Main Universe's Wanda, but like an untamed ancient beast, it was filled with primitive ferocity and a desire for destruction.

Chu Hangs Clone narrowed his eyes. The twisted runes on the altar were no longer simple decorations in his eyes; they told an ancient story: an ancient Loki named Chthon, the first Black Mage, had created this book with the ultimate goal of using it as a coordinate and bait to find and corrupt the destined "Scarlet Witch," turning her into a vessel for his descent into the Reality dimension.

It seemed the script of this Universe was largely the same. The knowledge concerning Chaos Magic in the book was, in essence, the most lethal trap set by Chthon.
