Because Rufus was too flamboyant, not only Rhode's group targeted him, but also Liss from Mermaid's Heel.
However, Laxus moved too fast; just as she used Gravity Magic to climb the wall of the high-rise, the fight had already ended.

A vine-like pipe rope shot toward Jimmy, binding her and the Candy Cane Magic Staff together.
Jimmy fell to the ground: "I can't use magic power anymore! Yeluo'er sister, be careful!"
"Leave it to me, Devil Armor!" Yeluo'er finished her equip, appearing with a metallic vest, metal combat boots, a faceguard, and claws, looking much like Mira's mechanical form of Satan's Soul.
She vaulted over Jimmy, her claws reaching for Mirena's shoulder.
Mirena performed several backflips, nimbly avoiding Yeluo'er's attacks, like a cat.
She remembered the Demon Suppression Hall encounter well; Yeluo'er's equip was very powerful and confronting it head-on would be disadvantageous.
Yeluo'er pursued, swinging her claws again, but Mirena dodged them all.
So Yeluo'er stepped back a few paces, intending to free Jimmy from her binds.
However, Mirena was unwilling to let Yeluo'er get her way. She pushed forward with both hands, revealing a magic array: "Twin Cat Pipes!"
Two pipe ropes spiraled forward, like two round nets, intent on capturing Yeluo'er.
Yeluo'er had no choice but to roll to the side, evading the attack.
"Woooo…" Jimmy whimpered with some dismay, because the pipe ropes landed on her, adding two more layers of binding, turning her completely into a caterpillar.
"What a troublesome magic," Yeluo'er complained, her combat boots crushing the ground, instantly dashing to Mirena and punching at her cheek.
"So fast!"
Just as Mirena was about to dodge, a small colorful vortex appeared in front of her.
From its center, two small hands with white silk gloves emerged, each grasping Mirena's and Yeluo'er's faces!
"Uh…" Surprised by the sudden attack, both instinctively tried to grab the hands and pull back.
"Did I arrive just in time?"
A female voice sounded as the vortex suddenly expanded.
A woman in a blue cheongsam emerged halfway out, twisting her body, executing a 'swing' in the air, her arms exerting force as she swung Mirena and Yeluo'er one to each side and flung them out.
With two bangs, Yeluo'er and Mirena crashed through the walls on either side of the street, falling into the buildings.
"Yeluo'er sister?!" Jimmy, still unable to move, exclaimed in recognition, "You're… Minerva of Sabertooth?"
Minerva was displeased with Jimmy's tone, raising her left hand to envelop her in a colorful spherical space: "Has no one told you to use respectful language with a senior?"
Jimmy did not answer, her face turning blue since the space surrounding her felt like a mountain pressing down on her chest, leaving her unable to breathe.
"Release Jimmy!"
Yeluo'er burst from a hole in the wall, metal claws extended, heading straight for Minerva's throat.
"Hmm~" Minerva sneered through her nose, a small colorful ball appearing in her right palm, easily catching Yeluo'er's steel claws.
"Whether to release her is up to me, depending on my mood. As for you… you're just a score for me!"
The colorful ball suddenly enlarged, unleashing a fierce impact that engulfed Yeluo'er, pushing her back into the residential building.
After crashing through the entire house, it continued to force her into another row of houses behind.
Yeluo'er was buried in the debris, dust covering the hole in the wall.
"Cat Binding!"
Mirena, having sustained some injuries, was a bit late in coming out but launched her attack at Minerva without hesitation.
Yet, Minerva also easily neutralized the attack, casting an explosive space around Mirena with a wave of her hand.
The sounds of explosions rumbled on until Mirena lost consciousness before gradually stopping.
Minerva glanced at the emblem exposed beneath Mirena's tattered cloak: "A little cat from Mermaid's Heel, just right to use."
With a flip of her wrist, Mirena was swallowed by the colorful space, disappearing.
She then looked at Jimmy, contemplating: "This one has no value."
Just as she was about to end the fight, a size 44 foot stamped on her face.
Minerva's face deformed instantly, her head leading her body as she flew backward, crashing through a window and smashing a set of tables and chairs, sinking into the floor.
Rhode appeared in Minerva's original spot, scuffing his shoe sole, kneeling to free Jimmy from her binds, and providing a Healing Magic.
