"What are you doing?"
Kael let out a small grunt and he rolled past Alario and face planted firmly on the floor.
A soft snicker of laughter reached his ears as Kael stood up calmly.
Alario raised an eyebrow, seemingly amused.
"What were you planning to do?"
Kael didn't speak and only spared a small glance at the dead beast on the floor right where Alario was seating and where he had just rolled past.
Alario seemed to guess something and laughed even harder.
"Don't tell me you were planning on playing hero."
Kael pursed his lips. He should have known not to move.
"I thought.."
Alario didn't let him finish and stepped closer, causing Kael to take a step back.
"See, that's your problem. You should stop thinking."
Ryn stepped between them good-naturedly
"That's it. Don't make trouble here, we need to get back to the city before dark."
Kael sneered but backed down and hoised the dead beast up.
"Try to keep up."
Dax gave Kael a pat on the shoulder.
