Dozens of combat robots of all shapes and sizes surged in from every direction.
Although each individual unit was far weaker than Metal Cooler—
Their overwhelming numbers made them terrifying.
Piccolo and Krillin stood back-to-back, continuously firing energy blasts to hold the mechanical army at bay.
Piccolo frowned deeply.
"There are way too many…"

Every single shot landed with perfect accuracy.

Her attacks showed absolutely no signs of stopping.
She was like a turret with infinite ammunition.
Krillin stared blankly.
"This is ridiculous…"
"She's suppressing the entire robot army by herself…"

The enormous beam roared upward and completely engulfed Metal Cooler.

The full-powered Final Flash tore Metal Cooler apart piece by piece.
When the blinding light faded—
Nothing remained in the sky.
Vegeta smirked proudly.
"Hmph."
"So-called Metal Cooler…"
"That's all?"
Then he dropped out of Super Saiyan and landed on the ground, breathing heavily while recovering stamina.
Unfortunately—
Goku immediately poured cold water on his victory.
"Vegeta."
"Look over there."
Vegeta looked up in confusion.
Then—
His eyes widened.
Another Metal Cooler had appeared atop the distant mountain.
"What?!"
"He survived THAT?!"
Goku shook his head.
"No."
"He died."
"But that's another one."
"…What?"
Vegeta clearly didn't understand.
But soon—
More Metal Coolers appeared.
Then more.
Then dozens.
Then hundreds.
Vegeta slowly flew upward to look farther ahead.
And instantly froze.
The mountains were now completely covered with Metal Coolers.
An endless metallic army stretched across the horizon.
The next moment—
The countless Metal Coolers charged toward them simultaneously.
Vegeta had already exhausted nearly everything fighting a single one.
Now there were hundreds… maybe thousands.
His scalp went numb instantly.
"What the hell?!"
"Why are there SO MANY?!"
Goku tossed him two Senzu Beans.
"I still have four left."
"Two each."
Vegeta's face brightened slightly.
"At least we've got Senzu Beans…"
He immediately ate one and hid the other inside his armor.

Both Saiyans exploded with golden energy and charged directly into the endless army.

Every punch he threw carried devastating destructive force.
Every strike completely obliterated a Metal Cooler.
The enemies that forced Vegeta into desperate struggles looked almost paper-thin before SSJ2 Goku.
Vegeta stared in shock.

"…is the true power of Super Saiyan 2?"
His fists clenched unconsciously.
His nails dug deeply into his palms.
Never before had he felt the gap between himself and Goku so clearly.
The overwhelming sense of helplessness nearly swallowed him whole.
Right then—
Three Metal Coolers attacked from behind.
Vegeta instinctively tried to counter—
But his exhausted body could no longer keep up with his mind.
The three Metal Coolers instantly restrained him.
This time—
He couldn't break free.
"VEGETA!"
Goku sensed Vegeta's energy plummet.

Vegeta was already gone.

Even more Metal Coolers rushed toward him endlessly.
Goku spat angrily.

"This really IS a hopeless situation…"
He quickly sensed Krillin and Piccolo's ki.
They were still moving.
Meaning—
They hadn't yet been transported to the Big Gete Star's core.
There was still time.
He just needed to endure a little longer.
