Chapter 1 - Early Years

The birth of Satoru Gojo caused the cursed energy of the world to riot in response. It balanced itself through the new birth of many cursed spirits. But what the world didn't know, was that another boy was born under the cover of this phenomenon. A boy who was born in a declining small sorcerer family in which he was the only one left. His name was Fuin Unmei and he would certainly leave a mark on the world in what would later be called the golden generation.

...

December 12, 2000.

A tall and strong looking boy set his school bag at the side of his desk, glancing up at the clock on the wall once to check the time. He had curly brown hair which grew messy and unrestrained but his eyes were an unsettling deep red. He gave off a vibe of ominousness that often scared people away and because of this he did not have any friends at school. He was 11 years old, but his body retained natural muscles which one might get from working out hard each day. Except that he never worked out.

Fuin was used to the subtle tension that surrounded his classmates around him. His cursed energy had a quality to it which tended to make people treat him like an unlucky jinx or even a dangerous criminal. His cursed energy reserves were naturally massive, with enough to be classified as special grade reserves on its own. He had worked hard to control it over the last 3 years to see if he could fix this 'aura of ominousness' that others often mentioned about him, but he was unable too.

Fuin was not as bothered by this as a normal child might be. For he was a reincarnated soul that had experienced many lifetimes in different worlds. He possessed a calm mindset of an adult who had lived for hundreds of years. This combined with his natural ominousness seemed to have made him even more uncanny to others. But Fuin himself just thought that it was strange that he actually seemed to have reincarnated with talent in this life. For the last few lifetimes, he had only reincarnated into different worlds as an average individual. He was content to live out his life in peace and content to be average.

But he seemed to have rolled the dice high in this life. It was the equivalent to flipping a coin 10 times and getting heads every-time. The chance of it was absurd!

Regardless, he was reborn in 1989 only a few days after Gojo Satoru in this world of Jujutsu Kasien. He had a cursed technique, some basic training help from his declining families books on cursed energy, and a cursed energy reserve equal to a special grade sorcerer.

His cursed technique was called [One Percent] and it was most likely the source or cause of his techniques ominous and unlucky qualities. For every goal or action he attempted, each failure would increase the probability of a success by 1% for each repeated attempt. In return, the 'pressure' of 'fate' would bear down on him like an increase in gravity. It increased continuously until he would be crushed by it completely.

He had already performed some tests regarding this technique with his father's guidance. He couldn't increase probability of success on something that has 0% probability. Second, it must be an action he can take. He can't increase the probability of things that have nothing to do with himself. Such as lightning striking the same place twice, he could only increase the probability of himself doing things.

But just based on these probabilities has already entered a rare fate-manipulation type cursed technique. If it weren't for the 'pressure' of fate always increasing on him, he would want to increase the probability of things endlessly, such as the probability of learning knowledge, mastering knowledge, etc.

It was a powerful technique with quite a lot of versatility. It's just that when he stopped running his cursed technique, his repetition's percentage increase resets to 0 but the 'pressure' of fate remains. It felt like the more he used this ability the closer he was to being crushed by gravity. Due to growing up under almost 2 times gravity, his body had developed strong bones and muscles making him look big and bulky. If the gravity had been any higher, his body might have been forced to reduce his height to compensate.

Since then, he dared not use his technique often until he finished growing up, content to master the basics of cursed energy manipulation through the small records from his father's sorcerer family.

Fuin rolled his shoulders carefully trying to stretch the soreness out of them from the constant pressure on him. He saw out of the corner of his eye as a girl glanced at him before gingerly scooting her desk further away from him.

'Its gonna be a long day' He thought to himself.

...

The bell rang for the end of class and Fuin couldn't wait to escape this miserable place. He was hundreds of years old and still pretending to go to school like a child. It was surprising enough that he was able to sit through these lessons when he clearly already knew everything. His mother often told him to go to make friends, but everyone there treated him like he was a dangerous gang member and kept their distance.

*Crunch* *Crunch* *Crunch*

The sound of his shoes crunching across the school gravel was pleasant to the sound of his ears. It was so easy to forget about the simple things in life. Suddenly, Fuin stopped. A malicious aura rose from the school he had just left. A cold wind of fear blew across the area and it left a taste in his mouth which was like bitter dirt.

"Hmm. More interesting than class, at least."

He dropped his bag next to the fence and started walking back towards the school.

"Um, Fu-Fuin-kun" A girl classmate called out to him, but her voice was too soft to hear.

Her arm was out stretched and hesitant as she watched him leave his bag and walk back towards the school. But Fuin continued forward without stopping. He slowly rolled up the sleeves of his school uniform, ready to savor the fight he was about to have.
