Chapter 1 - The End Before The Beginning

The very foundation of the infinite dimension collapsed beneath my feet, magma erupted into the heavens, and dark clouds covered the sky.

I narrowly evaded it: 'Obliteration', a world shattering ultimate spell from the God of infinity's arsenal.

With each passing second, the toxic fumes clawed at my lungs, the stench burns the back of my throat, making every breath I took was a living nightmare.

The moment my grimoire realized that I was in desperate need of assistance, it bolted towards me and opened up, shuffling through the pages like a deck of cards to the spell I subconsciously craved.

"God Of Infinity Technique: The Wings That Fell From The Angel Of Love!" I bellowed, my voice gasping, fought for the freshness of air.

A pair of pure white Angel-like wings latched onto my back, emitted a bright light that could've be seen from hundreds of thousands miles away.

Without hesitation, I used the Angel's wings to ascend into the heavens, and I took a deep breath the second I arrived at a safe distance, far away from the armageddon that was inflicted upon the infinite dimension.

"Damn." I sighed, I gazed at her. "I know you've gotten stronger but I didn't think it would be by that much."

She cackled, her face brimming with pure bliss, her eyes rolling into back of her head. "Cease your pathetic struggling, human! No matter what you do, or what you try to do, you can never defeat me!"

"I'm a God—no, I'm not just a God, I'm the creator of Gods—I'm the creator of everything!" Her voice dropped an octave, the sheer resonance of it sent shockwaves across the horizons.

I sighed, my voice became dense as lead, "Creator of everything but you couldn't create something to kill him?!"

She chuckled, a hint of satisfaction written across her face, "Why would I create something else to kill that parasite, when I already created the perfect tool to which I used to kill him?"

My blood starts to boiled, my veins started to pulse uncontrollably, my eyes narrowing at while I took out my sword, Mugen out for its sheath.

The very I took it out and got a firm gripped on it, I unleashed a catastrophic attack. "Infinity Dimension Cleaver!" I bellowed on the top of my lungs, hurdling that attack towards her.

"Really?" She asked, her voice

I had no part in your one-sided hostility towards him, so why did you use me to kill him?!" Tears started welling up in my eyes.

I pointed my sword at her, while my emotions became erratic. "You told me he was a cruel person who plagued humankind; killing innocent people, ruining families life and he was need to be stop!"

"I sacrificed everything! My body, my soul, and even my loved one to defeat him, just to found out you're actually the one who..... You lied to me! YOU LIED TO ME!" I cried to the heavens, crystal tears running down my face.

She sighed looking down on me, her eye scorned with euphoria. "Leonard, I never lie to you, not once. He was a cruel person and was a plague—a plague to my enjoyment of course, so I had to get rid of him."

Her grimoire—the progenitor grimoire opened up, instantly flickering through pages, to the spell she wanted to invoke.

Suddenly, a wave for immense gravity strucked me, her technique: "God Of Infinity Technique: Infinite Gravity", descended upon me. With each zeptosecond passed, her spell applied a greater toll onto my body. The ipping and tearing through my bones and flesh. I held out my hand, alling out for my grimoire.

My grimoire flew towards me at an infinite speed, ripping through the gravitational field, while flipping to the spell I desperately need.

"God Of Infinity Technique: Infinite Magic Cancelation!" I roared at the top of my lungs. If I didn't nullify her spell the moment I did, it would've completely torn through me.

I laid on the what's left of the earth and uttered once more with the little breath I had in my lungs. "God Of Infinity Technique: Instant Recovery." A white light emitted around me, healing all of the injuries I sustained from her attack.

She laughed, her voice screeched across the horizons. "This is why I Iove playing with you creatures. I love to see them suffer in pain, agony, depression, and helplessness!Humans are nothing but mere puppets I use for entertainment."

She scorned, her lips sneers with pure disgust. "That fool and his ideals plagued me for multiple millennia—and now that he's gone, I can do whatever I want! And it's all thanks you, Leonard!"

She pointed at me with a smirk smeared on her face, "So for your generous voluntary service, I've to reward you for killing him."

"Now drown in the deepest depth of the abyss." She pointed at me, her eyes filled with malicious intention. "God Of Infinity Technique: The Infinite Abyss!" She roared.

Instantly, a gigantic body of water surroun-ded me; trapping me in deepest darkest depth of an abyss. After I realized that I was trapped, I tried to escape, but I couldn't. The more I tried to flee, the more deeper I sank into the bottomless abyss.

The pressure of the abyss was so intense, it squeezed me; crushing me like I was stuck underneath a large hydraulic press.

I called for my grimore once more. It flew me and flickered to the perfect spell that could free me from the abyss. "God Of Infinity Technique: Calamuis Ingris!" I bellowed.

Immediately, a burst of flames hotter than a million suns emitted from my body, the once dark abyss dried up, turned into steam from the devastating flames of the technique, Calamus Ingris.

I laid on the ground once more, gasping for the little amount of air that was the environ-ment. At that moment I realized that I couldn't do anything to defeat her and I wanted to give up.

Suddenly I remembered if I gave up here, who would stop her from turning the world into hell it self? The person who was keeping her in check, I killed him with the power I gained from her, so I was the only person now who can stop her.

"You didn't answer my question! Why didn't use your power to kill him if that what you wanted?! Why drag me, who have no part into it!" My voice pierced through the horizons.

She sighed, looking at me as if I was a help-less puppy in need of its owner. "If you're so desperate on knowing why, I will tell you. I didn't want to stained my hands with that parasite's blood."

"When I saw that your soul was 100 percent compatible with my power, and you habour such a hatred for drugs, I came up with the idea to create the mana-enhancing drug and frame him so that you can eliminate him."

I just stood there dumbfounded, realizing that everyone to whom a kill or hurt and the ones I lost were just no more than a pawn in this sick twisted God's plan.

"Now that you know why I used you to kill that parasite, are you going to give up and die like the insignificant human you are?!" Her voice boomed across the heavens.

"Give up?" I chuckled. "I thought you knew me better than this. No matter what it takes I will never give up!" I bellowed, staring deep into her soulless eyes.

She sighed, scratching her head. "Ok fine. If you're not going to, I will make you."

Her lips curled into a smirk, "God Of Infinity Technique: Ruler's Authority." She unleashed an ultimate spell from the technique she robbed.

I felt a overwhelming aura come over me, crawling from the crown of my head, making it way into my frontal lobe. Within a fraction of a second that foreign presence latched onto my frontal lobe and brought me under the God of infinity's Absolute control.

"Hahahaha!" She laughed, "Just look at you now. My ultimate puppet is now actually a puppet! Oh, the irony!"

I tried to get out of her control but my struggles were in vain. If I can't subconsciously or consciously called for my grimoire, it won't come to me.

"Now that you're under my control, I hereby order you to kill yourself, you filthy insigni-ficant human!" Her voice was filled with no more hatred, hatred she habour for the being she created.

Even though she's stronger than me; I won't give up. If I do, no one will be able to stop her from ruling the world as she please. I grew up in two worlds, I knew what it means by being helpless, and the other is see the helpless and help them the best way possible.

I had live those two life and if I were to choose which life I want to live for the rest of my life; I would choose to live my life helping the helpless. And I will do anything, even give up my life if necessary just to see humanity strive into a better tomorrow.

"Never!" I bellowed, stumbling back to my feet, gripping tightly to my sword—mugen; staring up towards her in the heavens.

"I will never give up, because I came into this world to do one thing. It is to get rid of the cruel who is a plague to humankind, thats what I'm going to do. So I will never give up, not unless you're dead!" I smirked, pointing my sword at her.

I swung my sword, unleashing a devastating attack, Infinite Dimension Cleaver, a slash that piercing through time, space, and every concept that exist in our universe towards her.

Her grimoire flickered, "God of infinity ultimate technique: Infinite x Infinite Dimension."

She used that technique to immediately neutralize my slash before coming into contact with her.

She shook her head, disbelief because she thought I would give up. "If you're not going to give up, then I have no choice than to force you to give up and die already."

She smirked, her lips curled, grinning with pure excitement. "The real fight begins now. Infinity technique, Infinite resurrection."

A light as bright as hundreds of sun brimming down from the heavens, .

Immediately, I loosened the grip on my sword, and a sudden wave of me.

She crackled, her voice screech across the atmospheres. "Why did you released your sword Leonard? I thought you would rid the world of me. If you're going to rid it of me, you should rid the world of that abomination first." She pointed at the person who she resurrected.

"Damn you! Out of everything you could've done, you did this?! This is unforgivable!" I cried, looking at the person I have to take down.

She scoffed, "Take that forgiveness and shove it, I couldn't care less if you won't forgive me, human." Her voice was filled with hatred.

She scratched her head, "To think about it, it's actually useless per se, because you will be dead in a few moments, just like that creature standing between us!"

My anger had finally reached its peak. My killer instinct was itching me vigorously, telling me I have to kill her. "I'm going to kill you!" I bellowed to the heavens.

"I just told you, the real fight begins now remember, so I will do anything to break your will, and drive you into submission so I can kill you."

She chuckled, her eyes piercing at me with a hint of giddiness,"You know what, Leonard? I had resurrect it with an immortal body without their feelings or memories. Should I give it back to them?"

She snapped her fingers, instantly inplanting all their memories and emotions. "Nevermind, I just did it." She smirked, the corner of her mouth grinning with satisfaction.

"Huh, where is she?" They looked around, searching for someone, "Did I kill her?" They thought to themselves.

They looked down from the sky and saw me, hovering below. "Hey Leonard, what are you doing here? Did you defeated the mana-enhancing drug creators?

Shr scratched her head, "After I used that ultimate technique, I can't remember what had happen afterwards."

The moment I heard their voice, I fell to my knees once more, and tears started seeping from my eyes; crying uncontrollably.

They looked down at me and shouted, "By the way, why am I in the air, Leonard? And where is Vicky?" They asked, "She was here a moment ago, rambling about she's in..."

Suddenly, the God of infinity cut her off, "I think you've talk too much, you damn creature." She scoffed, her voice scorned with disdain towards them.

She snapped her fingers, transforming them into a zombie-like being, one who have her memories and feelings, but had zero control over her body.

They was turned into the ultimate puppet with an immortal body that will attack everyone and anyone in her sight.

I gripped tightly onto my sword, my grimoire hovered closely to my left hand while I was staring up at my opponent.

I sighed, voice became heavy; tears running down my face. "I'm sorry. This is going to hurt me more than how it's going to hurt you, and I'm finished taking care of that plague, you can rest in piece." I muttered.
