Gorilla ran at Redface, pounding his chest like a madman as he ran. The ground shook with every step as he closed in on his opponent
"The baby!" Redface thought grabbing his back.
"What the heck?" Redface said, "Where did he?"
Before he had time to react, Gorilla came down on him hard. smashing down with his gigantic fists.
"Your strong Zalzi" Gorilla said smashing his fists. "A normal warriors arms would have broken!"
"Just what about me says normal warriors to you!?" Redface groaned.
Stomping the ground with his right foot, a shockwave of red energy came out of his foot, causing Gorilla to lose his footing.
"Shit!" Gorilla growled.
Wham!
Redface's red hand crashed into gorillas stomach sending him spiraling backwards.
"Now where did that kid go?" Redface said looking around.
"Huff huff"
Mythos was exhausted, he had somehow made it to the top of a giant tree.
"Good I should be safe up... what?"
Sitting across from him on the same branch, a teenage Feral with dark hair sat dribbling his fingers on his lap.
"Amazing, you really are something else" he said approaching Mythos.
"Using the little essence you had, you managed to create claws and climb the back of this tree when no one was looking... When you consider the fact that it usually takes years for children to be able to instinctively alter their body through essence... It' absolutely. Incredible or unnatural rather" the boy said.
"Just what exactly are you Mythos!" the boy said
"Damnit" Mythos said. "My back is against the wall! If I so much as move...or open my mouth he might figure out who I am! And in that case I'm worst than dead! I've got to think of something quick."
"Well Genius or... whatever you are I'm glad your dying" the boy said extending out his finger. "I don't like the idea of there being two child prodigy's."
His finger grew sharp and turned into a shard but it was not like how Mythos had done it. His shard was big, sharp, and glowing with energy. from the look of it, if Mythos so much as touched it he was a dead man.
"His power" Mythos thought "He can't be more than thirteen, and yet.. I can feel it... It's even stronger than Redface's! Wait a minute... this boy... something about him seems.... familiar!"
Down below Redface watched as Gorilla got back to his feet.
"How can you raise that demon child..." Gorilla said.
"What makes you think he is a demon!" Redface said.
"His name! Mythos! It's a disrespect to all of is Ferals! There are others in the community who feel the same! Mythos was a human who killed thousand of us! It's because of him that our world is falling apart!"
"So your resolve is to kill a baby! How is that going to do anyone good? What kind of monster Kills a child!"
"Mythos!" Gorilla yelled. Mythos does!"
"What!" Redface said shocked.
"My daughter, Priya... she was murdered by him in cold blood! she was just 6 years old when Mythos's people came through that portal three years ago on their rampage."
"I'm... sorry" Redface said.
"And then theirs my son! He was just 10 in that battle three years ago! they say he'll never grow his arm or eye back... He used to be so innocent but now... He's a monster!"
A tear came to Mythos's eye as the boy who was charging his essence turned to him.
"I'm...possible" Mythos said.
As the boy turned his body, Mythos saw the absence of an eye or a shoulder, it was as if the left side of his body had completely disappeared swallowed by the void.
".....He's the boy..."
(Mythos remembered)
"I don't care!" The boy yelled "I won't let him break our world!" Running up to Mythos.
"Impaler!" He yelled trying to stab Mythos.
"You have my respect, boy" Mythos said as the boy approached him. "But not my sympathy!"
"Breaker Magic, Sword breaker!" Mythos yelled
Mythos's sword went right through the boy, breaking his spear to pieces. As the spear broke, so did the rest of the boy's arm. As the crack continued up his arm to his neck, his right eye completely disintegrated into pieces.
(Back to present)
"What happened to him? He had blond hair not black... and why is it that he so much hatred in his eyes... those aren't they eyes I saw on the battlefield... How long has passed since that day?
The boy raised his pointed finger to Mythos's head ready to kill him.
"Die!" He screamed. "This is for my master!"
"I see" Mythos thought. "That anger... that hatred... I created it. It's only right that I... end it by allowing him to kill me."
