Chapter 602 - Chapter 602: Truly Perfect Infiltration

This world, once home to the White Moth people but now occupied by the locusts, saw its strongest resistance forces reduced to corpses under Muria's overwhelming assault with his six legends and army. However, the world had not yet fully fallen under Muria's control.

The war was far from over. Muria had only dealt with the cities on a single front, along with the most powerful locusts and elite locust armies. Nearly a billion locusts still lived in this world, thriving by enslaving the White Moth people.

A prolonged and exhaustive extermination campaign would be required to eliminate all locust resistance with minimal destruction, liberate all White Moth people, and reverse their roles with the locusts.

Of course, Muria would not be involved in any of this. He had more important matters to attend to.

"Your Highness, isn't this too risky?"

"It's not risky, just a simple infiltration into the Solos civilization for some reconnaissance," Muria said, holding Indira, who was munching on a piece of high-level supernatural metal. He felt a strange excitement within him.

"With Indira, I can break through the Solos world's barrier without attracting any attention, achieving perfect infiltration. And even if I'm discovered, it will be easy for me to leave."

"But..." Gladys wanted to continue, trying to dissuade Muria. The idea of their leader diving deep into enemy territory seemed absurd.

"No buts. Stay in this world. It won't be long before the Solos locust civilization notices something amiss and sends strong forces to investigate. You block the space, preventing them from opening spatial rifts. They will have to break through the world's barrier from the void, making it difficult for even high-tier legends to enter immediately. So, there's no need to worry. Initially, you may face considerable pressure, but once the Dragon Princess arrives, your burden will greatly diminish."

After issuing his orders, Muria picked up Indira. He was a dictator; his followers could suggest, but they could never alter his decisions.

"Guard this world until His Highness returns!" The ancient green dragon, who temporarily had the highest authority due to her experience in suppressing the drow elves, gave instructions to the surrounding five legends. Despite her bloody methods, the results had been good. There was no need for mercy with the locusts, allowing her to fully utilize her skills.

...

As Fiona began sweeping through the world, Muria flew through the void with Indira, heading towards the Solos world, which was relatively close to the White Moth world.

After flying through the dark void for three days, Muria finally saw the light emanating from the Solos world. This distance was unimaginable for beings living on a world, yet it was quite short for worlds themselves.

"Indira, it's time to eat." Muria, sitting on Indira in her nine-headed dragon form, saw the light of the world and patted her heads, all of which were busy chewing on a large meteorite she had picked up along the way.

"World barrier!" At Muria's reminder, Indira saw the Solos world and immediately discarded the meteorite.

"Don't overeat. Just make an opening big enough for us to get through," Muria reminded her. Indira, a void creature of unknown origin, loved consuming all high-energy substances, and world barriers were just within her dietary range.

"I know," Indira grumbled unhappily but nodded reluctantly.

Muria patted her dragon scales without saying more. He needed to limit Indira's "appetite." Otherwise, he couldn't imagine what she might become. Her life essence was too strong, surpassing all creatures she had consumed, which explained her almost arbitrary transformations.

Lower-level beings couldn't transform into higher-level ones. For instance, a human legendary druid, after the sublimation of their life essence, could transform into a green dragon, but might only possess Soul Intent-level strength. Through some secret arts or treasures, they could temporarily exhibit legendary power, but not for long.

...

"What's that shadow in the sky?" A squad of blue locusts patrolling the clouds in their divine court's skyships noticed an unusual expanding black dot in the sky.

"Report the anomaly immediately to the ground control center and request backup. Await further instructions!" The locust captain gave the correct order, but the entity causing the anomaly wouldn't allow them time to react further.

Before the communicator could activate the equipment, a thick golden thunderbolt descended from the sky, enveloping the fifty-meter-long airship. It disintegrated the airship and its locust crew into their basic molecular components, erasing all traces of their existence.

"Perfect infiltration!" Standing at the breach in the world barrier created by Indira, Muria had adapted slightly to the world's rules. He ignored the fact that he had almost been discovered, as the airship had been annihilated without a trace. This was a perfect infiltration since no one in this world had noticed his arrival.

"Hmm? There are more?" Muria looked in another direction. Clouds lay below him, and the sky was clear, making visibility excellent, especially with detection arrays.

...

"Report, we detected a super lifeform reaction ahead. Based on the feedback, initial assessment ranks it as... a god!"

"Don't talk nonsense. I haven't received any report of a god appearing here."

"Director, according to the comparison, this super lifeform is not any of our divine court's gods!" a trembling voice responded.

"Then what are you waiting for? Hurry and..."

Boom!

A golden thunderbolt descended, obliterating the purpose of the flying ship.

...

"Muria, is this what you call perfect infiltration?" Indira, reluctantly leaving the world barrier, watched as the Titan-Dragon hybrid obliterated another locust aircraft for the fifth time.

"Yes, this is perfect infiltration!"
