"To completely annihilate every enemy you see, both mentally and physically, means no enemy will discover you." Shamelessly, a certain hybrid imparted his so-called perfect infiltration concept to the super void creature he had adopted.
"If no enemy discovers you, that is naturally the most perfect infiltration," Muria said righteously, then casually obliterated another airship that appeared within his mental detection range.
In a certain airspace of the Soros world, bolts of lightning streaked through the sky, shooting down every flying object entering this area, causing the management at a certain flight control center on the ground to go from furious to panic-stricken.
Then a legendary locust man, their so-called god, came to this airspace and naturally found nothing.
All traces were erased by Muria, and the crystal wall hollow he and Indira entered had long since healed. The investigating legendary locust man naturally found nothing.
As a result, the unexplained disappearance of airships in this area became an unsolved mystery, leaving some locust men sleepless. This airspace turned into a no-fly zone.
Meanwhile, the culprit, along with a certain terrifying creature, had infiltrated the world and was contemplating how to blend into this civilization to execute his bold plan.
"My research level is still too low." Muria looked at the shattered locust man corpse on the makeshift stone platform and put down his dissection scalpel.
"If I were a proper mage at my level, I could perfectly construct the corresponding transformation spell after dissecting just one locust man. Now, after dissecting almost ten, I barely have some clues."
Muria shook his head modestly, sighed, and then began to cast his independently researched and created first transformation spell.
A non-dazzling spiritual light burst from Muria's human form, then he transformed into a six-armed locust man with slightly yellowish armor. His insect wings stretched out behind him, and his compound eyes rotated on his triangular head, making anyone with trypophobia uncomfortable.
"My first serious spell research is to become such an ugly creature. But for the sake of world domination, this sacrifice is nothing," Muria tapped his yellow chitin armor. "Just bear with it a little."
"Your ability is still more convenient, Indira. You can transform into whatever you eat," Muria praised as he watched Indira perfectly transform after devouring a female locust man. "You're truly a natural assassin and spy. Even if exposed, you can directly go berserk."
"How long do we have to stay in these ugly and weak forms? Muria, I don't like this," Indira grumbled, moving in her newly transformed locust body. She found the insect's small mouthparts made eating too slow compared to her other forms.
"We need to maintain this form for a long time, until the dragon princess who dueled with me invades this world, sweeps away all resistance, and annihilates all legendary locust men," Muria patiently explained.
"What about you? Just watch as the princess conquers this world and wins the duel?" Indira asked doubtfully. She wasn't stupid, just loved eating. If necessary, she could think things through.
"Of course not. I'm here to win the duel directly," Muria reverted to human form temporarily, showing a confident smile. "According to Felicia's duel rules, obtaining the highest ruler's symbol of supreme authority—the God-King's scepter and the crown with three star cores—means victory."
"So, we're here to get the scepter and the three-star crown?" Indira quickly understood Muria's plan.
"Yes. Based on estimates, the locust man holding the scepter and three-star crown is probably the strongest in this civilization, likely possessing high-level legendary power. Silently dealing with him is nearly impossible.
"Normally, to get the scepter and three-star crown, you'd have to crush all the civilization's forces and kill him in a frontal battle.
"As for assassination, it's out of the question because a strong enough assassin breaking through the world barrier would cause a commotion that can't be hidden, making assassination impossible.
"But with you, Indira, we bypassed the world barrier without alerting any locust men. As long as we get close to the highest ruler and kill him, then you devour him..."
Muria, having forgotten what he had done upon entering the world, smiled dreamily at the bright future. But Indira, already thinking, interrupted Muria without mercy.
"I roughly understand what you want me to do. But how do you plan to assassinate this probably strongest locust man without alerting other legendary locust men? He's a high-level legend!"
"I have my methods. The only issue now is how to get close to this locust ruler," Muria pondered, stroking his chin. "My idea is to blend into the locust civilization and gradually approach him according to their rules. Do you have a better suggestion, Indira?"
"If you can instantly kill that locust ruler, I have no objections," Indira's eyes dimmed as she stopped thinking, reverting to her usual simple-minded, food-focused self.
...
"We entered at a very opportune time!" In a red locust city, the yellow-armored locust Muria and Indira wandered through the city, mostly looking up at the sky filled with various aircraft.
"This world is undergoing an industrial revolution!" Muria stated confidently. The locust men piloting the aircraft trying to fly were ordinary locust men with low power.
"Interesting. Due to the appearance of other worlds, their horizons have expanded. Now that the benefits of conquering other worlds are exhausted, they want more resources? Want to enter the void?"
Aside from that, Muria couldn't think of a reason why a race that naturally flies and can cultivate to legendary power would need to study aircraft, which seemed redundant for them.
