Matilda Jenkins looked at the necklace in her hand, her heart full of regrets.
She lowered her head, feeling despondent as she walked back. Just as she entered the building, she heard someone calling from behind, "Matilda Jenkins."
Matilda turned around and saw Nathan Cole coming inside, his assistant had dropped him off at the entrance, and he was carrying his luggage back by himself.

Nathan took off his face mask and then placed his hat on Matilda's head, "Hey, it really is you. Are you out for morning exercise? Why so lightly dressed?"
Matilda tried to force a smile, but she couldn't manage it: "Yes, out for... morning exercise."
Nathan saw her downcast expression and knew she was in a bad mood.
He smiled and said, "Matilda Jenkins, Happy New Year!"
Matilda nodded, "You too, Happy New Year. How many days are you resting this time?"
