Chapter 165: The Threat
The impact of a tailed beast is so devastating that it revived the villagers' fear of being bombed by Aburame Toka. In the last war, Aburame Toka flew on the sky, dropping massive tailed beast bombs, giving these ancient people firsthand experience of modern warfare.
Luckily, this time they faced not a flying tailed beast, but the Six-Tails, and the tailed beast opponent was the strongest Raikage to ever exist. The Third Raikage's body had been tempered to the point that both his attack and defense were extremely powerful—he could even fight 10,000 ninja and not only that he didn't even get sratched, he died later from chakra exhaustion.
This incident occurred due to an attempt to create a new jinchuuriki. The seals provided by Konoha were weak, consisting of a two-trigram seal. Originally, Konoha intended to provide a three-trigram seal, but with Setsuna's intervention, the Uzukage managed to advise Hashirama, leading to the use of the two-trigram seal instead.
The seal was strong enough to contain a tailed beast inside a scroll but weak enough to allow for the sealing of a tailed beast into a new jinchuuriki. That's why the Six-Tails, weaker than the Eight-Tails, managed to escape and drop a bomb before attempting to flee.
But with the speed and power of the Third Raikage, Kumogakure managed to stop the Six-Tails before it was too late.
With the weakened tailed beast, they sealed Saiken inside an infant. The Third Raikage, not wanting anything to happen to the baby, decided to adopt him. He already had a son named A, and now his newly adopted son would be named B. In the original timeline, B would later be known as Killer B due to his mastery of the perfect jinchuuriki mode.

News of the tailed beast rampage spread to other villages. Some, like Iwagakure, considered attacking Kumogakure but were stopped due to orders from the Daimyo.
A few years ago, the Daimyo provided funding for them to train their ninja and attack Uzushiogakure within a 15-year period. However, the Daimyo later pushed them to attack within 10 years.
This mission of course bring enormous wealth to them. Now, each village had more Jonin, with some becoming elites due to the Daimyo's support. This support was further amplified by Setsuna's merchant group, whose products and commodities boosted the villages' economies.
The reaction of the Daimyo was completely different. They were not happy to hear that Kumogakure had been bombed and that many civilians and ninja had died due to the Six-Tails' rampage.
Because they had spent a lot of money each year preparing to attack Uzushiogakure, they were upset that many ninja had lost their lives in this incident.
Although they didn't cut the funding, they sent a messenger with a severe warning, prompting the Raikage to meet with the Daimyo.
"Daimyo-sama, this incident can't be blamed on Kumogakure," said the Third Raikage.
"Can't blame your village?" mocked the Daimyo. "I may not blame you, but I can cut the funding."
"Fine, then we'll cancel the plan to attack Uzushiogakure," replied the Third Raikage.
"You... Do you think you can threaten me?" responded the Daimyo.
"Go ahead, cut the funding, and we won't attack Uzushiogakure. In fact, we'll send ninja to warn them in advance," said the Third Raikage.
Because of this, the Daimyo dropped the idea of cutting the funding. Raikage is unlike Hokage who had become the licking dog of Daimyo.
Raikage is strong enough to intimidate the other shinobi inside a village and majority of the support goes to him. Kumogakure also didn't need the support of Daimyo to choose a new Raikage unlike Konoha who need Daimyo support.
---Aburame Toka---
Konoha didn't say anything about the incident, but deep down, they were pleased. Currently, only their village has successfully nurtured a perfect Jinchuuriki—Aburame Toka.
Aburame Toka had become the driving force of the village and the strongest ninja alive. He had saved many people in the past.
"Grandfather!" A small figure could be seen running toward Toka. This boy was none other than Aburame Torune.
In the original timeline, two people became Danzo's strongest supporters: Yamanaka Fuu and Aburame Torune. However, in this alternate timeline, Aburame Torune isn't purely from the Aburame Clan—he also has Senju blood.
During the process of selecting a new Jinchuuriki, the Aburame Clan stood out due to their unique ability to interact with bugs. However, because of the immense power of the tailed beasts, some members of the Senju Clan needed reassurance. One of them suggested that the Aburame Clan marry into the Senju Clan to ensure stronger ties.
The Aburame Clan agreed. Usually, they married within their clan because of their connection to bugs, making it difficult to marry outsiders. But marrying into the Senju Clan had its benefits—Senju were known for their higher chakra reserves and strength. They could go toe to toe with the Uchiha, so marrying a Senju was clearly a win for the Aburame Clan.
Aburame Toka was chosen to become a Jinchuuriki, and because he was already married, his son was selected to marry into the Senju Clan.
Before the marriage, they ensured the number of bugs was reduced significantly, even during the consummation process. They made sure the Senju woman wouldn't see any bugs in the room, as it would have been difficult if she became disgusted and wanted to break off the marriage. Their previous experience with outsiders made them extra cautious.
Now, several years had passed, and Aburame Toka proved to be an excellent choice as a Jinchuuriki. He had mastered the perfect Jinchuuriki form.
The Hokage had tried several times to invite Aburame Toka to his faction, but Toka remained loyal. He wouldn't side with any faction unless it was the Senju.
Uzumaki Mito's situation was different. Gyuki, the Eight-Tails, wouldn't cooperate with her. Even with Chomei's assistance, the tailed beast remained arrogant and refused to share its chakra with Mito.
However, one day, they succeeded. Mito managed to extract the Eight-Tails' chakra and use the Gyuki Mode 1. In the original series, Naruto first used KCM 1 after extracting chakra from Kurama, which later evolved into KCM 2 when Kurama willingly shared his chakra.
The same thing happened to Uzumaki Mito. With Chomei's help, they managed to weaken Gyuki and extract its chakra. This form was now called GM 1 instead of GCM1, if she managed to convince Gyuki to share chakra then she will become Perfect Jinchuuriki and had GM 2 mode.
