"Mhm." Claudia Ross snuggled into Wyatt Perry's arms, forcing herself not to think about anything.
"Thud…" Suddenly, a sound of something falling came from downstairs, startling Claudia Ross just as she was drifting off to sleep.
She opened her eyes abruptly: "What was that?"
"You sleep, I'll check it out." Wyatt Perry said as he threw off the blanket, got out of bed, and put on his robe before leaving the bedroom.
Claudia Ross, completely awake now, grumbled inwardly about Louis, that show-off king, causing such a racket in the middle of the night, disturbing her peaceful dreams. It was thoroughly annoying.
Wyatt Perry quickly returned to the bedroom, took off his robe, and slid under the blanket, holding Claudia Ross tightly.
"What happened?" Claudia Ross asked.
