Cid pov
I, my sister and the seven Shadows all set off for the holy city of Lindwurm where the big tournament is taking place. You can fight against past heroes which is quite interesting the others will do research until the tournament starts. When the tournament finally started almost anyone was able to summon a hero and when I was called I fought against this girl with the violet eyes as a Shadow even though I would have liked to fight her at her full strength. After I defeated her I went to the dam and relaxed there until my sister came to probably comfort me. "Well, did your fight not go as you wanted?" "To be honest I was just disappointed that she couldn't fight with her full potential." There was a moment of silence until a large red portal appeared in front of us which still haunted us even as we moved until we agreed that we would enter it. After walking a bit we found her. Violet was sitting there tied up on a chair and staring at us. I wanted to leave at first, but my sister quickly freed her and we started talking. She said that everything here was a lot of memories from an old battle and that you could get out of here if you destroyed the core of the whole thing. So we made our way to the center of it all and encountered a few zombies and other obstacles until we finally reached the center, but someone was already waiting for us there. The knight was standing there in her armor, a scary sword in her right hand, she was standing right in front of the seal that we wanted to destroy. Hey, finally she shows herself face to face. "Well hello, if I may ask, who exactly are you? You always sneak around us and even attack. I didn't know that you belonged to the Diabolos cult too." "Hear my name, mortals, before my judgment judges you. I am Artoria Alter and I will judge you in the name of my goddess." Wow, a bit clichéd, but I have to admit, she radiates incredible power. It's good that Emma is here too, so we should be able to take her down. "Brother, be careful, she is incredibly powerful, we have to give everything we have against her." So she was something like the final boss, I have to say I'm not disappointed. When I looked at her again, part of her armor started to move upwards again to create a mask that was completely smooth. It looked pretty cool, but I concentrated and we both put on our outfits. To start the fight, her muffled voice could be heard through the mask. "I hope you're ready, because I'm going to destroy you." With that, she stormed towards us like a villain.

As our mistress wished, we followed the seven Shadows who were walking through the base with the archbishop and telling their gruesome story. But that doesn't interest me, I only have eyes for my mission, everything is going as planned, the man was stabbed and the system distributed the people, now only Alpha and Delta and the civilians were left, when we saw that we revealed ourselves. "Oh, you must be the servants of the revered Artoria, please help me get rid of these insects." "We're only doing what our mistress has ordered us to do, now on them." "Wwwait, who are these guys, are they also part of Diablo's cult? No matter, that's no longer important Delta, you take over her with the black and red armor, I'll take care of the other one."

So the fight began in which the two Shadow Gardens fought against the 2 mysterious figures together with 100 clones of Nelson. The first to move was Delta, who charged at Eto like a wild animal and wanted to cut her with her claws, but contrary to expectations, Eto blocked the claws with her gauntlets and kicked Delta in the side so that she flew 10 meters before she came to a stop. But she just grinned and started attacking Eto again, who now used her kagune against her. Delta had already prepared herself, so that while she was running she created a large broadsword and swung it against her kagune, the two stayed like that for a moment, trying to overwhelm the other party with their strength. When Nelson's clones also wanted to attack Delta from behind, Beta had no choice but to transform and cut the clones. Since a new opponent had now appeared, Nelson ordered all of his clones to attack them instead, thus achieving a certain balance for the moment on the battlefield. The fight between Delta and Eto had now turned into an endurance fight in which they exchanged injury for injury, but both quickly regenerated these wounds and collided with each other again, sending shockwaves through the white space. On the other hand, Alpha and Hinami fought with much more finesse and thought carefully about where they would strike next. They both had a lot of experience in combat, so they used different styles to throw their opponent off track. When Alpha saw an opening, she immediately charged her sword and swung it at Hinami's abdomen. Boom. Part of Hinami's armor exploded, ripping flesh from her body, but she didn't seem to care as she held onto Alpha's sword with both hands and swung her kagune at her. Alpha was pushed back several meters with a fist-sized hole in her chest. She spat out some blood before her wound began to regenerate. If an outsider were to see the fight, they might think that this fight was going to last forever, but that's deceptive, because unlike the Shadow Gardens, they don't need mana to regenerate, since it's an ability that automatically repairs their bodies. So it was only a matter of time before the Shadows would lose, since they couldn't destroy the two with one blow. Nelson was busy with Beta in the meantime, and although she was the weakest of the three, she had already destroyed 30 clones, but could only hope to deal with them in time to help the others. As the fight became more and more intense and increasingly stronger attacks were exchanged, Delta was the first to run out of mana. Her ruthless fighting style, which meant she had to regenerate often, eventually depleted her reserves, but even though she no longer had any magic, she still fought wildly against Eto with her raw strength. As they continued to exchange attacks, however, Delta became slower and slower, and when she wasn't careful, the blunt side of Eto's kagune hit her in the face, ultimately knocking her unconscious. This was a shock for her companions, which destroyed the delicate balance of this battle and caused them to fall further and further behind. Now that Eto was free again, she approached Alpha and began to suppress her with Hinami, so that after a few more minutes she also collapsed, which meant that she was now lying on the ground, injured. Beta had now killed all but 3 Nelsons, but she was not happy at all. She was very worried about the others and when she saw that the two were coming towards her, she could only strengthen her resolve and jump towards them. Timeskip 5 minutes You could see that all 3 Shadow Gardens were currently lying unconscious on the ground and they were outside the white room again. Their opponents stood agitated over her, Eto and Hinami looked as good as new again, while only a clone of Nelson remained. "Well, ladies, since that went so well, we now just have to kill them and extract their blood." "That won't happen, our mistress's order was to catch as many as possible for her. You can't order us to do anything." Nelson was seething with rage that this rabble dared to question him. "You filthy traitors, you will pay for this, all OLIVERS, wake up and destroy all intruders. The statue behind him began to glow and a young elf girl attacked it, she was fast and almost as strong as Beta, so they exchanged a few attacks with the other two until Eto impaled her with his hand and her body dissolved into particles of light. "HHHow is that possible, she is the hero who cut off the demon's arm, how could she lose so quickly?" "I don't know what you mean, it's nothing more than a doll without a soul and now die." "Wait, I just-" He couldn't finish his sentence, however, because Hinami had already cut him in two. "Now that everything is done here, Eto, take the three back to the estate and tie them up with the magic-suppressing chains. I'll see in the meantime whether Eta can get along with the others at the moment." "Shit, OK, but next time I'll be understood in a fight?" "Sure, let's go now." So they both set off in different directions, with Eto holding two of the girls with her kagune and throwing one over her back.
At this time, the remaining Shadows were fighting at another location. They were running around the base and looking for evidence against the Diablos cult until suddenly a large number of guards attacked them from all sides. At first they were able to withstand them and easily fend them off, but when no one was paying attention, Eta came up to Gamma from behind and kicked her in the head, giving her a slight concussion that left her temporarily incapacitated. "Eta, what are you doing?" Epsilon screamed as she beheaded a group of assassins. "Only what my new master wants from me and now stop fighting back so you can become a part of it." "Zeta, I think she is under some kind of control, what should we do now?" "I'll fight her, you take out as many of them as you can in the meantime." So Zeta and Eta fought against each other, using their different techniques to defeat the other. It quickly became clear that Zeta was much stronger than Eta, since Eta is actually just a researcher. They exchanged a few more blows and when Eta was about to be defeated, Hinami arrived. "You did well, Eta, at least you held out until I got there." With that, the battlefield changed again. Eta was now fighting with the weaker Gamma while Hinami began to fight Epsilon and Zeta. As the fight dragged on, Gamma began to lose to Eta so that she was hit against the wall until she remained on the ground. Due to the constant harassment of the cult and the strong appearance of Hinami, the two lost more and more ground until Zeta came too close to Hinami's Kagune, which caused her to be hit in the back of the head, knocking her out. Epsilon, who saw that the situation was getting worse, decided to fight through the remaining guards to call for support. When she had killed most of them, a foot suddenly hit her from behind, blurring her vision. She was lying stretched out on the ground when she saw a silhouette coming towards her until it stopped above her and turned off her lights with a kick. Hinami looked around for a moment, she had just finished off the remaining assassins, now she and Eta only had to make their way back with their loot and their master would take care of the rest. "Come on Eta, we have to get rid of them before more vermin appear." "Understood, I'm looking forward to when they see the truth that I have learned."
