Chapter 170 - Chapter 170: The Shocked Ninja World and the Perspective of His Radiance, the Sun God.

Ninja World.

The 60th year of Konohagakure.

For many people, today was nothing special—just another peaceful day in their ordinary lives.

But for Uchiha Fugaku, the Fifth Hokage of Konohagakure, this was a day worth remembering.

The reason?

Because today, his long-troubled eldest son—who had been stripped of the Uchiha name—had finally returned.

What made it even more complicated for Fugaku was that after losing his Uchiha title, his son had chosen to walk the ninja world under the name Senju Itachi. And now, he wasn't coming back of his own will—he was being forced to return by none other than the retired Second Hokage.

This made Fugaku deeply aware of just how stubborn his son was.

To be honest, it had been years since Itachi was expelled from the clan. Fugaku had long since come to understand his son's nature. He also knew that Itachi had been working as an undercover agent outside the village. When the Kara organization finally revealed itself, the intelligence that helped take them down came from none other than his son.

At this point, if Itachi had just returned and apologized, Fugaku was willing to let him back into the clan and restore his status.

But what Fugaku never expected was that after the Land of Waves mission, his son seemed lost again. Just when he was about to return to Konohagakure, he suddenly changed his mind and went to his superior—the very person who had assigned him to infiltrate Kara, the Second Hokage—and continued working under him.

Even then, he still refused to come back home.

"Is this guy insane? What kind of father and son hold grudges overnight?"

In the Hokage's office in Konohagakure, Senju Tobirama looked at the father and son duo with disbelief.

Of course, his focus was more on Uchiha Itachi.

In Tobirama's opinion, having someone like Uchiha Itachi do manual labor at a construction site was a complete waste of talent.

So recently, he had introduced Itachi to Nagato, the leader of the Akatsuki, hoping to bring him into the organization.

Today's Akatsuki operated under the banner of the Sun God Kingdom's Special Operations Unit. It was an organization that worked to maintain stability in the ninja world, locate potential threats, and eliminate them.

Both the First and Second Hokage held part-time roles in the organization, stepping in when Akatsuki needed extra manpower for missions.

For someone like Uchiha Itachi, Tobirama felt that joining Akatsuki would be a good fit.

But after recommending him, Nagato's response gave Tobirama a headache.

"Akatsuki is a true family, where comrades can entrust their lives to one another. We are a machine that unconditionally carries out His Radiance's orders. Our members are people of the highest moral character, bound by a shared pursuit of artistry and ideals.

As the leader of Akatsuki and a devoted follower of His Radiance, the Sun God, I refuse to accept someone who has never even apologized to the family he has hurt."

This was Nagato's exact response.

He didn't show the slightest respect for the Second Hokage, leaving Tobirama speechless.

Nagato firmly believed in every word Hyuga Hitoshi had ever told him.

Especially one core teaching: he never judged people by their potential or strength—only by their character.

It was this belief that allowed Nagato to rise above countless others in the ninja world and become Hyuga Hitoshi's right-hand man—the enforcer of the Sun God's will.

That was also why Nagato selected Akatsuki members based on this philosophy:

Either you had a clear purpose and unwavering loyalty to His Radiance, or your character had to be so outstanding that it moved him.

As for Uchiha Itachi—now known as Senju Itachi—everything he had done was well-documented.

Looking at his past, one thing was clear:

He always placed so-called "greater good" above all else.

At the same time, he disregarded personal relationships, rarely communicating with family, and was quick to question them.

To put it nicely, he was willing to sacrifice everything for a noble cause.

To put it bluntly, he cut ties with his own family without hesitation.

In the past, Nagato might have admired someone like Itachi.

After all, such people could be extremely useful in certain positions.

But as Nagato's devotion to His Radiance deepened, he began to see the flaws in this mindset.

What if, one day, His Radiance—the very foundation of Akatsuki's beliefs—disagreed with Itachi's idea of justice?

Could he be sure that Itachi wouldn't turn against them in the name of his so-called greater good?

Would he betray the Sun God just as he once betrayed his family?

That made Itachi a dangerous person.

If used correctly, he could be an asset.

But if handled poorly, he could become a liability at a critical moment.

Still, Nagato was willing to give Itachi a chance.

He told Tobirama that before Itachi could join Akatsuki, he needed a change in mindset.

The first step was to open his heart and have an honest conversation with his father, his family, and his friends.

Only then could he slowly be guided toward true enlightenment.

At the very least, he needed to understand why the ninja world was at peace today, who made it possible, and who deserved his gratitude.

That was the most important thing.

"Father..."

In the office, Uchiha Itachi—brought here by the Second Hokage—looked ashamed.

To be honest, he wasn't completely against returning to the village with Sasuke to apologize to his father.

But when the moment came, he felt unworthy.

After being stripped of his Uchiha name and exiled from the village, he had achieved nothing.

He had made no great contributions.

In fact, due to his own carelessness, he had nearly allowed the leader of Kara to bring disaster to the village and his brother Sasuke.

His guilt only grew heavier.

He truly didn't know how to face his father or the people of Konohagakure.

"Enough."

Fugaku raised his hand, stopping Itachi from saying more.

He lifted his head and looked at his son with a calm expression.

A heavy silence filled the Hokage's office, making even Tobirama—an experienced Hokage—feel uneasy.

But as someone who had once used Itachi as a pawn…

As the one who sent him to infiltrate Kara…

He couldn't just leave now.

Especially when, in the next moment, Fugaku asked the question that revealed his true intentions as a father.

"Senju never trusted the Uchiha.

Konohagakure never trusted the Uchiha.

But that doesn't matter.

I have proven, through my actions, that even if an Uchiha becomes Hokage, he can still govern Konohagakure with order and stability."

Fugaku's words were calm, but they made Tobirama feel ashamed.

After all, he had been one of the people who suppressed the Uchiha.

He had once said that the Uchiha clan had a mental disorder.

But in the end, wasn't it all just a matter of distrust?

If the Uchiha truly had such deep-seated problems, how did they survive the Warring States Period?

And why was their clan atmosphere no worse than that of the Senju?

In the end, it was never about their nature.

It was about trust.

"But now, you all see it—everyone was wrong about the Uchiha."

Fugaku spoke with pride.

"I admit, the Uchiha clan has its problems. But do you think other people don't have their own issues? The real problem is that no one ever found a way to both limit the Uchiha and give us a fair chance. But I have! As long as the method is right, anyone—any clan—can have their moment of awakening!"

Take the Uchiha now, for example. As long as the Hyuga clan and Hitoshi brothers are strong enough, do you think any Uchiha would dare to defy the Sun God Kingdom's laws?

And the long-term strategy he had been following was showing incredible results. Konohagakure was already deeply tied to the Sun God Kingdom and to Hyuga Hitoshi. In fact, the largest number of divine consorts in the Sun God Kingdom came from Konohagakure!

"So tell me—where did you go wrong?"

Fugaku's commanding presence filled the room as his tone shifted. He fixed his gaze on his eldest son. It wasn't that he was a heartless father unwilling to give his son a chance. He simply wanted to judge Itachi's growth based on his answer before deciding whether to forgive him.

After all, this was the son he had personally cast out of the Uchiha name—a disgrace to the family. Being strict was only natural.

Where did he go wrong?

Was his father asking about his undercover mission in Kara, where he ended up being used as a pawn? Or was it about the mistake he made years ago when he tried to turn against his own clan?

Now that he thought about it, both incidents had something in common.

Uchiha Itachi took a deep breath, hesitated for a moment, then spoke slowly:

"I acted without gathering enough information beforehand. As a ninja, I was careless and overestimated my own abilities."

So this was his answer?

Fugaku's eyes revealed his disappointment. He had asked as a father, as family. Yet Itachi had answered from a ninja's perspective?

Don't be so full of yourself, Itachi!

The ninja world is full of talented shinobi. You're not so special that your presence makes a difference!

Hearing this, Senju Tobirama let out a small sigh and kept signaling to Itachi with his eyes. But as an outsider, he had no right to interfere. If Itachi didn't come to the realization himself, then any outside help would be meaningless.

Luckily, seeing the change in his father's expression, Itachi's mind started racing. He was, after all, the man who had once killed his own parents in the original timeline. Even though the circumstances here were different, he could still make an educated guess about what his father truly wanted to hear.

"I was also wrong for not communicating with you and the clan in time. I acted on my own, believing my decisions were always right."

Sweat formed on his forehead as Itachi finished speaking in one breath. Finally, he saw Fugaku's expression soften a little.

But just as Fugaku was about to say something else, he suddenly noticed his son and Senju Tobirama both looking outside with exaggerated expressions of shock. Their mouths hung open as if they had seen something beyond belief.

"What's wrong? Itachi is one thing, but why are you reacting like this too, Second Hokage?"

Fugaku frowned, standing firm with the presence of a true Hokage.

But his question received no response. At that moment, both Senju Tobirama and Uchiha Itachi had only one image reflected in their eyes—a massive, breathtaking planet, almost identical to Earth, appearing near the Moon in the vast blue sky!

It was beautiful, but that didn't change the fact that it was a planet!

No matter how stunning it looked, it was still a celestial body. And when a planet only slightly smaller than Earth was heading straight toward it, the sheer impact of that realization was beyond words.

Forget any so-called fear of giant objects—just the overwhelming sense of world-ending doom was enough to shake them to their core.

"W-what's happening?"

As countless people in the ninja world looked up, they instinctively dropped whatever they were doing. Their eyes filled with a lifeless gray, as they realized they had no way to fight back against such a disaster.

"What is that? Another Earth?"

As the planet visibly grew larger in the sky,

Despair spread across the ninja world. This was something so far beyond reason that no one could comprehend it.

And in the face of the apocalypse, the truest nature of humanity began to show.

Those who had already struggled through miserable lives finally snapped. They started looting, attacking others—giving in to their destruction-driven urges before the world ended.

Chaos erupted simultaneously across nations. Everywhere, conflict and disorder broke out.

And in this turmoil, those who had already been dissatisfied with the Sun God Kingdom's rule saw their chance. They began spreading rumors that the Kingdom's tyranny had brought divine punishment upon them. More and more opportunists crawled out of hiding, using the disaster as an excuse to stir rebellion.

After all, in their eyes, with the world about to end, nothing they did would matter anymore. Why not indulge in their desires before it was too late?

But strangely enough, Myoboku Mountain—the place that should have been most eager to rise against the Sun God Kingdom—remained silent.

The reason was simple.

When the Sage of the Six Paths saw that mysterious planet, he was utterly stunned.

He swore, even if his short-tempered younger brother had used the Golden Wheel Tenseigan to crash the Moon into Earth, it would have only caused minor destruction in comparison. But if a planet as large as Earth itself was descending upon them…

At this point, it was hard to say whether Earth would even survive!

What was the point of all these schemes and rivalries? The most terrifying part was that this situation was beyond Rikudou Sennin's understanding—he had no idea how to deal with it.

"I already checked with the Land of Thunder's research division. Even at full power, a chakra cannon wouldn't be enough. Even if we gathered all nine Tailed Beasts and fired a combined Tailed Beast Bomb, we still couldn't destroy that planet."

In the Land of Thunder, upon hearing his subordinate's report, the Raikage gave up struggling and simply accepted reality. However, deep down, he still held onto a sliver of hope.

Humans had always looked to gods in times of disaster, hoping for a miracle that would let them survive, even if just barely.

But in the ninja world, there really seemed to be a living god!

"They say Hyuga Hitoshi, the Sun God, can control the moon… If it's the moon…"

Most people in the ninja world still had an outdated understanding of Hyuga Hitoshi. To them, the best solution they could think of was for the Sun God to use the moon to crash into the approaching planet, knocking it off course.

But Rikudou Sennin knew better. He understood the true power of the Six Paths Chibaku Tensei. That thing couldn't even compare to a real planet.

"This thing is way bigger than the meteor Madara summoned. If it crashes into Earth, there's no way we can clean up the mess—even if we had a lifetime."

Land of Rain, Akatsuki base, Sun God Kingdom's construction headquarters.

Senju Hashirama scratched his head and let out a long sigh.

Even at a time like this, he still had the energy to joke. But the others present weren't in the mood to laugh.

However, in this moment of crisis, Nagato finally stepped forward. His expression was calm as he gazed at the sky, then he knelt on one knee, facing the Sun God Kingdom's direction with deep reverence.

"This is divine will. The Sun God will never abandon his faithful followers. The appearance of two planets in the sky is nothing more than a divine revelation. The Sun God will surely perform a miracle and resolve everything."

You've completely lost it.

Senju Hashirama opened his mouth, but in the end, he didn't stop Nagato from praying. Instead, he let him continue. But as he looked at the sky, his brows furrowed.

He knew that against a planet of this size, even if he and Madara combined their strength and used the Wood Golem Jutsu at full power, it wouldn't be enough. Against a disaster like this, humans were just too small and weak.

And yet, something felt off.

It was simply too strange how this planet had appeared. Even though he wasn't an expert in astronomy, he understood that celestial bodies followed predictable paths. They didn't just appear out of nowhere. But this planet had seemingly materialized near Earth and was now moving toward it at a steady pace.

Before this, they hadn't received any warning. No one had even detected a planet similar to Earth nearby.

Based on that alone, this wasn't a natural disaster. Thinking about it from a different angle, it felt more like an act of human intervention!

"Hey, I say we get out of here. Dragonshiki seems to have lost his mind."

The Otsutsuki Clan had a special sense for planets. Even though its energy signature was slightly different, Urashiki could immediately tell that this planet carried the presence of a Ten-Tails. He recognized it instantly—it was Dragonshiki's planet!

"The energy feels off. A planet that has produced a second Chakra Fruit should be lifeless. And knowing Dragonshiki, he would have sacrificed the entire planet's population to enhance his twin blades. But this planet… it's full of life."

Something wasn't right.

Momoshiki frowned. He couldn't quite figure it out.

Isshiki, on the other hand, remained silent. After all, he had never seen Dragonshiki's planet before. But for some reason, he had a strange gut feeling that the terrifying man they all feared was somehow involved in this. Even he was surprised by his own intuition.

Fortunately, Isshiki didn't have to wonder for long, because soon, the entire ninja world fell into silence.

Why?

Because the chaos ended in an instant.

Konan, the representative of the Sun God Kingdom's secretary division, used the Sun God Network to broadcast a message across the world. Thanks to the latest technology from the research division, her ethereal voice echoed everywhere, turning this so-called planetary disaster into nothing more than a footnote.

"Sun God Proclamation:

Considering the long-term development of the ninja world, a single Earth may not be enough to support future expansion. With this in mind, I have brought back a distant planet suitable for human habitation and stabilized it in an orbit near Earth. This planet is rich in resources and has a perfect climate—an absolute green paradise. The Sun God Kingdom will grant access to this planet for outstanding individuals and those who have earned great merit.

Additionally, due to gravitational adjustments, there may be some minor tremors in the coming days. Do not be alarmed. Once stability is achieved, we will have a reliable new neighbor and no longer need to worry about resources. And this is only the beginning—similar events may occur in the future, so there is no need for panic.

Lastly, chaos and disaster are never an excuse for crime. The darkest side of humanity emerges in times of disorder, but those who take advantage of such moments will face the consequences of their actions.

This concludes the announcement. May the Sun God's strength shine forever! May the Sun God be eternal!

End of transmission."

 The announcement ended.

The entire ninja world fell into an eerie silence.

At that moment, Nagato, still kneeling, slowly stood up. He ended his prayer and turned his gaze toward the distant criminals who had been taking advantage of the chaos. His eyes were cold.

Without hesitation, he waved his hand toward the confused Akatsuki members and spoke in a low voice.

"Move out."

Konohagakure, inside the Fifth Hokage's office.

Fugaku, who had just snapped out of his shock, wiped the sweat off his forehead. Then, straightening his back proudly, he turned to his eldest son.

"So, let me tell you exactly where you went wrong!"

Swoosh! Swoosh!

He carved two words into the wall with a kunai.

Those two words spelled out Uchiha Itachi's sin.

Tobirama took a distant look, his mind momentarily dazed as he read them.

Carved clearly on the vast wall were—

"Perspective."
