Chapter 11 - 11- Flying Thunder God

"The jutsu collection of the Second Hokage?!" I asked, surprised.

"Yes, he was one of the greatest inventors of jutsu. Most of Konoha's forbidden jutsu were created by him," Tsunade introduced me to Tobirama Senju.

"No, I already know all that. What I mean is that you had this all the time and you're only giving it to me now? And please, I know all about the Second Hokage. If there's someone I consider as my idol, it would be him." Tobirama was an absolute menace, and I too wanted to become a specialist in creating forbidden jutsu like him.

"What? I thought I was your idol..." Tsunade threatened—yes, threatened. Her hand holding the scroll was pulled back, as if saying, say yes, or forget about this scroll.

"Of course, Big Sis. You are my favourite—is that even a question?" I even went ahead and gave her a hug. Since I was a Senju, she asked me to call her Big Sis, just like Nawaki, but I didn't prefer calling her that, reserving it only for special occasions where I had to get something from her.

"Alright, alright, enough flattery, you brat. Study this well... Oh, and one more thing: since you're my student, you'll also inherit my summoning beast. So make a cut on your finger and write your name here with your blood." Tsunade ordered, taking out another scroll—this was the summoning scroll of the Shikkotsu Forest.

I could hardly contain my happiness as I made a small cut on my thumb and started to write my name on the scroll. Sage Mode was something I desperately wanted, and with this, getting it would be easy. The Sage Mode of the Shikkotsu Forest was definitely the best one—as seen from Hashirama. Almost zero prep time, and a massive boost in attack power. Although it doesn't have the strange techniques of the Ryūchi Cave, it's pretty straightforward and powerful. Personally, I think the Frog Sage Mode is the worst.

"Done," I replied, signing off the scroll.

"Good. I will now teach you the Summoning Jutsu. Try and summon Katsuyu, okay?" Tsunade said with a smile.

"Hmmm."

"No need to worry. She is very gentle," Tsunade comforted me, thinking I was scared or something.

"Huh? I'm not scared. Let's move outside and try this," I said and moved out. Soon, we reached a training ground at the corner of the village. I had come this far because I was certain that with my ability and chakra, I would at least be able to summon a Katsuyu as large as Tsunade does.

"Okay, so let's start. These are the symbols, then press your palm to the ground, and poof—"

A massive slug was summoned. This was Katsuyu, the largest amongst the sages. Her entire body was said to be super massive, so much so that even what Tsunade summoned in battle was usually a small part of her. Yes, you heard that right—the summon equal in size to Manda and Gamabunta was actually just a small part of Katsuyu Sage.

"What are your orders, Lady Tsunade?" came a very sweet voice from the massive slug.

"This is my disciple, Mahoraga, the new contractor of Shikkotsu Forest. I was teaching him the Summoning Jutsu," Tsunade explained.

"Oh, I did indeed sense a new contract being formed, so it must be you, Lord Mahoraga," Katsuyu greeted me with the same polite tone. If I didn't know better, I couldn't possibly have guessed that this Katsuyu was a part of the Sage Katsuyu, who is probably a Six Paths-level being.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Katsuyu. I would now attempt the Summoning Jutsu," I said and started making hand signs. Then I touched the ground with my palm, gathering a massive amount of chakra—and poof.

Once again, a mighty Katsuyu, about the same size as the one Tsunade summoned, appeared.

"Huh, as expected, you succeeded on the first try. But you can summon a Katsuyu clone equal to mine in size... Now that is unexpected... You really have a massive chakra reserve." Tsunade sighed. My chakra had grown very quickly over the past year, elevating me to the level of the Kage.

Although I had much less chakra than Tsunade, with the use of the Six Eyes, our chakra output was about the same, with hers being slightly above mine. If I simply grew up naturally, my chakra would grow to be around the same as Tsunade's—which translates to around three times her chakra with the Six Eyes. This may seem like a lot, but it really isn't—at least compared to monsters like Madara and Hashirama, I am nowhere even close. And if I want to reach the Six Paths level, I need to have the raw energy reserves for it.

If I don't, I would become like adult Sasuke, who gets exhausted even faster than Kakashi in a fight.

With the Summoning Jutsu completed, we went back to our regular days. But now, most of my time was spent studying the stuff left behind by the Second Hokage—specifically one particular jutsu: the Flying Thunder God.

"Take care out there... and once again, you are a medical shinobi, so you have to stay in the rear, okay?" I said to Tsunade as she was about to leave for the Land of Rain. The Second Shinobi War had started in all its glory, with Hanzo the Salamander of Amegakure declaring war on the three great villages of Konohagakure, Sunagakure, and Iwagakure all at once.

Now, don't ask me how he came up with this idiotic decision. I know he didn't have many choices, but he basically just fucked himself over with that—and he also managed to drag his nation down with him.

Amegakure, being a minor village, would lose against any of the five great villages. And Hanzo started a fight with three at once. Now, the three would also fight each other, which is good for Amegakure, but sadly for them, their home is the battlefield—so two seconds of silence for them.

"You're such a worrywart. Every other time, you try to act so cool—what happened now?" Tsunade tried to cheer me up by teasing me. But what can I say? First time someone I genuinely care about is going off to fight a war—figures that I'm worried, right?

And so left Tsunade. With her gone, I spent even more time training. And finally, after a gruelling half-month of training, I had mastered the Flying Thunder God Jutsu.

'Finally... Now I can speedrun my way to become the strongest in the world. Everything has fallen in place.' A grin formed on my face.
