Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

I release a sigh and rub the bridge of my nose. My clone did their job wonderfully. The bell is not because the queen or the others know about their location. They managed to stamp all of the people in the palace without them noticing.

However, we do not account for the presence of the Sun Rune, who immediately notified the Queen about the clone's presence once the connection between us appeared. One of the clones theorizes that the rune uses that connection to weaken the Presence Concealment briefly. In that moment, the rune notified the queen, and she immediately released a massive torrent of Holy Fire toward one of the clones.

Lucky for us, because I have an A+ rank in agility, the clones will have a B+ rank in agility. Because of this, we manage to dodge all the attacks and leave the palace without any of us being dead. Unfortunately for us, the Queen's Knight and the other soldiers are now on full alert. They are now searching for an assassin who wants to kill the queen.

It is rather funny, you know? Seeing that supposedly the best of the best cannot notice my clones, and it is only because of the queen that they notice the 'threat' in the same room as them.

Anyway, lucky for me, my clones are wearing their skull masks and a full outfit that covers their entire bodies. There will be a bounty for them, but I don't need to worry about the royal family noticing me.

That means my current plan is still active. What kind of plan? Join the prince, Freyjadour, and help him in his journey, or at least act as if I am a mercenary to protect him from the assassin who tries to kill him.

I can use that chance when Godwin and his people do a coup against the royal family. I can come and help them. However, to make it work, I need to get close to the prince and his group first.

And I know how to do it. I heard the news that the prince will go to Lordlake City for an inspection. This will keep me busy while waiting for the capture process to be done. It takes three days before the capture is done, and I can spend that time scouting and stamping.

However, I need to think of a way to communicate and share information with each other.

I slap my forehead when I notice something. I can use my company phone. I take out my phone and create a group chat with only myself in it. I can type which clone I am on at the end of each chat to know which clone it is. With this, the weakness of my Noble Phantasm is gone, and it increases my effectiveness as a spy.

I take a deep breath and cast my Noble Phantasm once again, but this time, I put it to the maximum. Eighty people appeared around me, and without me telling them anything, they already knew what they needed to do.

They leave the room through the window and spread across the country.

Now… I need to make a move as well.

|Sialeeds Falena POV|

The situation in the palace is tense. The news of a group of people managing to sneak deep into the palace and even stand behind the queen has already spread, and people are angry, scared, and curious.

Even after 24 hours, they are still angry that someone dared to send a group of assassins to kill my sister, and the nobles have already thrown accusations at the New Armes Kingdom, the old enemy. At first, I also thought they were the ones sending the assassin because Arshtat is the reason why they failed their conquest. However, for some reason, my guts tell me otherwise.

I don't know the reason why, but for some reason I don't think they are from the New Armes Kingdom.

I shake my head and release a sigh. Because of the tense situation, I decided to leave the palace and walk around the city. Sadly, because of yesterday's madness, five people are following me.

I release a sigh and walk to the eastern area of Sol-Falena. However, when I arrive in front of the trading house, I blink at the sight that is just happening in front of me. A man with dark skin, golden eyes, and blue hair makes the stack of goods disappear.

I walk toward the man and say.

"Excuse me, but can I ask what kind of magic you use?"

The man in front of me blinks for a second and says.

"Huh?"

"That magic. What kind of magic is that? You make those goods disappear. Are you destroying them?"

The man looks at me in confusion, and I don't blame him. When it comes to magic, I am a different person, or so I've been told. Magic has always been a fascinating thing to me since I was a child. I always want to learn a new magic, even though my affinity is wind, and I cannot learn many magics outside of something related to wind.

"Nothing too fancy. It is a space-related magic. I store the goods in the pocket dimension I create."

"Really? How big is the pocket space?"

"Sadly, it is not that big. It has a volume of 1m by 1m by 3m. It is not that big."

"Even then, it is something that is very valuable to any merchant, you know?"

"Oh, I know. Bandits rarely attack me when I travel around the world, you know? They don't want to attack someone with nothing on them. It is not profitable for them."

Yes. I can see that happening, and I know a few people who are willing to sell their first child for that kind of thing.

"What can I ask about the reason why you buy that many goods? Most of them are food and barrels."

"Oh, I want to go to Lordlake and sell them to the people there."

I look at him in shock and confusion.

"Why? They don't have anything to pay you back."

"And that is why I sell them these things. They don't have anything."

"So you want to help them."

"Help them? No way. I don't want to break the queen's order. I am selling my goods to them, and if they are paying me using sand, well… There are a lot of things that sand can make."

"You… You are willing to get the queen's wrath to help them."

"What are you talking about? I am but a humble merchant who searches for nothing but profit. Now! Do you by any chance know someone who can take me there? All the sailors refuse to take me to Lordlake."

I look at him for a few seconds before an idea appears inside my head.

"Wait for two days. I also want to go to Lordlake, and my personal ship will take us there. You can come with us."

"Really? Thank you! Can I ask your name? My name is John of Muse."

"Nice to meet you, John of Muse. For now, you can call me Sia. Come to the port and we will meet in the westernmost docking area. We will depart at 9 in the morning. Don't be late, okay?"

John nods his head and says.

"I understand."

I nod in satisfaction and cannot help but look forward to the upcoming days. For some reason, she has a good feeling about John.
