Ivy River immediately picked her up and walked towards the sofa.
Ann's gaze was still fixed on the two kids who were arguing.
Ivy River said softly, "It's normal for siblings to squabble. Don't worry."
Ann nodded slightly, but her gaze didn't shift back.
Ivy River thought for a moment, "Ann, you can't keep things bottled up inside. You don't have to tell your godmother, but you can tell Fatty and Emmy, right? They are your best friends, aren't they?"
Upon hearing this, Ann buried her head in the sofa, not wanting to respond.
Her small hands clung to the sofa cover, and her mouth was pursed in a line, unwilling to speak.
Fatty and Ann were still arguing.
"Vincent River, you better give me an explanation, or else I won't let this go. If you make me mad, I'll tell Mom you..."
Fatty quickly covered his mouth and whispered in Ann's ear, "Didn't you notice Mom took Ann to the sofa?"
