Aurora James - POV
"My parents are both Americans, but my mother used to tell me that I do have relatives who are from Spain," I answered when the man nodded his head, but it looked like he didn't believe me.
"We will catch up soon," Zander told the man when he nodded his head and walked away. The rest of the evening passed by in a blur while I was mostly occupied at the buffet table tasting all the delicacies they had to offer while Zander mingled with the rest of the guests who were there.
"Are you enjoying the party?" Adam asked me as he stood beside me with a glass of scotch.
"Sort of. What are we waiting for?"
"Alpha Garcia should make an appearance, but apparently, it's been delayed. Once we see him, we can head back home," Adam said, and I nodded my head. My gaze drifted back to the dance floor when the soft music in the room seized, and everyone turned around to face the doorway.
