"At first I thought that they were targeting my family because of my position as Alpha and a member of the werewolf. So I decided to leave the council to safeguard you. That was the night I took your mother on a long drive with no warriors by my side. We didn't have a rogue attack for weeks, and I assumed that my decision may have succeeded."
"Wait, the werewolf council is made up of the five powerful families. If you decided to leave, then who was supposed to take your position, Alpha Garcia?" Adam questioned.
"No one can replace my position in the council, Alpha Lopez. If I decided to leave, then the council would have consisted of four members."
"What happened that night?" Zander asked him and I saw an annoyed look on my father's face. This was the third time I saw this, and this only proves that these two are not on good terms, and I don't have an idea what was going on.
