"Aurora," Dad called when I turned around. Lunch went by with mixed emotions for me, and even though we decided to keep the conversation light, the weight of what I learned a few hours ago hasn't completely sunk in. Within a matter of minutes, my entire life has turned upside down, and even now I'm not sure what I should be doing. "I arranged a press meeting before the council meeting. Is it possible for you to come with me for that?" he asked me.
"Sure," I said without a second thought. I am nervous to face anyone right now because I am no longer the daughter of an ordinary gamma. I am the daughter of an alpha and the future heir to the Silver Line pack.
