Here, purchasing one cup of coffee entitled them to two free refills of water. As followers, they were supposed to help the Church save on expenses, and appearances didn't matter, because they were all Seekers who had abandoned worldly possessions and transcended secular prejudices.
The three of them sat down face to face, and Minamoto Tamako, eager to find someone, proactively offered to buy two cups of coffee. The believers were delighted to get free coffee, but they still needed to follow procedures to verify Minamoto Tamako's claims: "How can you prove you're his girlfriend?"
