The office was quiet, save for the low hum of the AC and the occasional rustle of papers as Cael looked through the report in his hands.
"Unfortunately that is all we could find about him." Jason said, his arms crossed as he leaned against the edge of his desk.
"How can one be this anonymous in this age of security cams and social media?" Cael said disappointed but also sounding kind of impressed.
Jason nodded, setting the folder down with a sigh. "Yeah. The guy who got the pack deed from Raven's brother… he's a lone wolf. No known pack affiliation, but he's got alpha blood."
Cael's brows furrowed. "If he has alpha blood, why is he settling for a pack's land instead of building one of his own? Why go after a beta like Raven?"
