Dante – POV
Dante's finger tapped rhythmically on the arm of his leather chair as Ajax stood in front of him, talking, voice tight with tension.
"The mole said there has been talk in Silver Claw," Ajax said. "Unconfirmed rumors, but they are loud. People are saying that Cael and Elisa went on a date. A real tushy one from her apperance when she was walking back to her apartment. Apparently it was… serious."
He braced himself for the usual volcanic explosion of rage.
But nothing.
Instead, Dante went.
His fingers stopped tapping. His head tilted slightly, a small, unreadable smile tugging at the edge of his lips. The silence stretched too long, making Ajax shift uneasily.
