The worst of it all was that Keelion knew she was out there, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find her, could never.
The bond between them wasn't broken and every day, he felt pain. It often made him wonder how she was fairing without him? Was she okay? Never felt the pains he did? And if so, would that mean that she didn't…love him?
Keelion shook off the thought before it could register a new kind of pain in his chest.
He blinked apart his eyes, rose his feet and proceeded to leave the room.
It was time to get this over and done with. A substitute will do for now. When he was ready, perhaps he would finally consider a luna.
