Althea shook her head.
"Dad, Keelion is a very stubborn man, and when he sets his mind on something, no one can change it. It became worse with the presence of that bitch, so actually, she was our only obstacle that we needed to get out of the way. Once we did, everything fell into place."
Mr. Eliot relaxed in his seat, his legs crossed.
"Where do you think she is?"
"I don't know." Althea shrugged. "But wherever she is, she'd better stay put, because I'll kill her if I do see her. No one will jeopardize my position again. I won't allow that."
He nodded his head.
"We should be careful for now, though."
She eyed him. "What do you mean?"
"Well, the alpha is only reinstating you for now as a potential luna. He hasn't decided to make you his luna yet, so we have to walk on egg shells here and make sure that we don't fuck up in any way. Do you understand?"
Althea stared at him.
