Chapter 159 - Fairy Tail's Dragons?

— — — — — — —

"Damn! So that's what's going on?!"

Suddenly, Fairy Tail Renzo had just barely digested most of the memories and information flooding his mind. When he snapped back to reality, he couldn't help but curse out loud.

Damn! He had always thought he was just a regular guy who transmigrated without any cheat codes…

Turns out—he was split into 36 different parts?!

Luckily, when he suddenly appeared in the northern town of Ishgar in the Fairy Tail world, he heard rumors of a powerful Ice Mage named Ur nearby. Without hesitation, he rushed to become her student.

And yep! He actually succeeded!

Even though he worked really hard afterward, he couldn't change how things played out.

Gray still ended up becoming Ul's disciple, and when he found out about Deliora, he still ran away from home to get revenge.

Ur, being tough on the outside but soft on the inside, eventually gave in and chased after him with Lyon.

In the end, not wanting to see Deliora destroy another town—and hoping to lift the shadow in Gray's heart—Ur stepped up and fought Deliora herself.

And right now, things were at a super critical point… when suddenly, his consciousness got yanked into this space.

"Hey guys! Sorry, I've got something urgent going on! I need to head back right away. Once I'm done, I'll swing by again!"

"Seriously, thanks for the help this time! You all showed up at just the right moment! I'm out!"

And with that, the newcomer Fairy Tail Renzo disappeared from the consciousness space without another word.

"Haha! That might've been the fastest exit we've seen yet," Uchiha Renzo said with a laugh.

"Can't blame him," Eevee said, casually spreading its paws. "His master's in a life-or-death situation, after all."

"But still, the Fairy Tail world has so many awesome things! Magic everywhere! Next time, we really gotta convince that guy to join the Fairy Tail guild and go all-in on training!"

"The Fairy Tail guild has all kinds of epic magic," it continued excitedly. "Fire, wind, lightning, earth, wood, poison, light, giant form... there's just so much!"

Eevee was practically drooling.

A lot of those could merge with its own elemental forms!

If it pulled that off, its power would seriously level up across the board. That'd be a huge step toward reaching Champion level.

Well, its strength already surpassed a typical Champion-tier Pokémon—but its actual level was still just below that threshold. It still needed more foundational energy and to master some high-level techniques.

All of that would take time.

"Totally," Uchiha Renzo said, stroking his chin, intrigued. "Now I'm wondering… if someone learned wood-element magic from that world, would it boost my Wood Release jutsu?"

"Oh, and didn't someone from the Dark Guild, Grimoire Heart, use Arc of Embodiment magic? I wonder if that could help enhance our Fantasy Creation Cheat?"

That world had tons more goodies to offer.

"If Hermione and Python heard about this world, they'd lose their minds," Uchiha Renzo chuckled. "Those dragons in Fairy Tail? Way stronger than the fake ones in the Harry Potter universe!"

"What's this about going crazy and dragons?" Hermione happened to walk through one of the portals just then and asked curiously.

"A newcomer showed up from the Fairy Tail world. We were just talking about it!" Eevee replied with a grin. "The dragons over there put yours to shame! Wanna check it out?"

"Oh? Fairy Tail?" Hermione's eyes lit up. She immediately reached out and patted Eevee's little head twice to sync up and share the info.

Eevee: "..."

What's wrong with these people…?

Eevee didn't even have the energy to complain anymore.

"Knew it!" Hermione's eyes lit up with excitement. "That really is a cool world! But those dragons do have their downsides… wait—did you know they get motion sickness?!"

"And when they turn into dragons, they lose things like proper taste and normal sensory perception. That even drove the Queen of Dragons—Erza's mom, Irene Belserion—almost insane!"

"So yeah, dragons in that world are strong, but not without flaws. Still, if we get the chance, it'd be amazing if the newbie could get us some dragon blood to study!"

After all, they're way more powerful than the fake dragons from her world.

If they could make a hybrid Dragon Blood Elixir, combining Fairy Tail dragon blood and refined techniques from the Harry Potter world…

Then maybe, just maybe, Python could surpass the dragons and beasts of both worlds.

"That dragon blood's not gonna be easy to get," Uchiha Renzo said with a shake of his head. "Most of the dragons were basically wiped out by the Dragon King—Acnologia."

"And at this point in the timeline, Natsu and the others probably haven't even time-traveled from 400 years ago through the Eclipse Gate yet."

"Even if they have made it through, there's no way you're getting dragon blood from the dragons hidden inside those Dragon Slayer mages."

"But… sub-dragons might be doable! The newcomer can hunt a few of those later on. Refined properly, their blood should be good enough for your research."

Compared to the whole dragon blood thing, Uchiha Renzo was actually more hyped about the magic system in that world.

"Yeah, that's true," Hermione nodded. "Blood from sub-dragons should be able to be purified into something close to real dragon blood. Even if the quality's a bit lower, it shouldn't be a huge issue."

"That's kinda a plan, but we have to wait for the new guy to come here."

 Fairy Tail world—

As Fairy Renzo's consciousness returned to his body, he felt a surge of energy flooding through him. His physical strength, mental resilience, even his magic power—they were all skyrocketing.

And in his magic, a fusion of Pokémon energy and the magical system from the Harry Potter world (thanks to Eevee's fusion), had started transforming it. His magic was evolving—turning into something even more powerful: source energy (also called Origin Power).

"Looks like… this is where it ends for me. I didn't think you'd almost beat me to it, Lyon…"

At that moment, Ur had just knocked Lyon unconscious right before he could cast Iced Shell Seal. A mess of emotions flickered across her face—relief, bitterness, calmness.

Then, she gently handed the unconscious Lyon to Renzo and Gray, who had just regained consciousness.

"Renzo, Gray—take care of Lyon for me."

Her eyes lingered on Renzo. "Especially you, Renzo. You're a good kid. As the older one, you've gotta look after the other two."

She turned to Gray. "Gray, I know the shadow that's been weighing on your heart. Today… let me be the one to clear it away. You must live on."

"Ur!" Gray's heart dropped—he could tell something was wrong. He cried out instinctively.

But Ur didn't even glance back. She walked toward Deliora, magic rising from her body like a storm. Her presence immediately caught the demon's attention, and it turned toward her.

"You monster… I'm going to seal you away today, and wipe you from my student's heart once and for all!"

"Iced Shell Seal!!"

Ur took her stance—feet spread, knees bent slightly, arms crossed (shape X). Her magic exploded like a wave, wild and powerful.

Snap!!

Right then, Renzo suddenly appeared at her side. He cut through the swirl of energy, placed a hand on hers, and gently pushed her arms down—interrupting the spell completely.

Ur froze in shock.

"Renzo? What are you doing? And how the hell are you even able to stand near me right now?!"

When she was preparing Iced Shell Seal, her power was on par with the Ten Wizard Saints. Not even someone ten times stronger than Renzo should've been able to get close to her in that moment—yet here he was.

But there was no time to question it. Deliora had already turned fully toward them, gathering energy in its mouth, ready to attack.

"There's no time! Move!" Ur tried to shove Renzo away, but he didn't budge an inch.

"Ur, I've awakened my powers," Renzo said, calm and steady. "Leave this demon to me."

"What??" Ur was stunned, angry, confused. "What kind of nonsense are you saying right now?! Get out of the way!"

ROARRR!!!

Deliora let out a thunderous howl, and the energy in its mouth was reaching critical mass—an attack was incoming!

"No time!" Ur lunged to pull Renzo and the others away.

Seriously, her students were going to be the death of her. One by one, they all kept charging headfirst into trouble.

She used to think Renzo was the easiest to deal with, the most sensible. Now it turns out he was the most reckless of them all when it really mattered!

But then, Renzo caught her wrist—and with one swift motion, he used his strength to toss her back toward Gray and Lyon.

And in that instant, the aura around him exploded. An overwhelming, terrifying magic burst from his body, so intense that even Deliora and the surrounding monsters paused in confusion.

Gray stood frozen in place, stunned. "Is… is that really our Renzo?"

Both he and Ur were stunned—Renzo didn't look tall, but in that moment, he seemed towering and unstoppable.

Like they were seeing him for the very first time.
