The moment Deliora tilted its head back, the attack it had been charging was finally ready—aimed straight at Renzo and the others behind him.
Crap!
BOOM!!!
Without a second thought, Renzo stomped down, shattering the ice beneath him and launching himself forward like a missile. He cut through the air in a blur, reaching Deliora's chin in a flash.
"Sage Mode—ON!"
"Armament Haki: Ultra Impact Punch!!"
In the next instant, a monstrous punch—infused with Armament Haki, shockwave power, sage chakra, and his own insane physical strength—slammed into Deliora's jaw.
The sheer force clamped Deliora's mouth shut mid-attack, sending its massive head—and entire upper body—reeling backward.
BOOM!!
A muffled explosion burst from its mouth, followed by a puff of black smoke.
"RAAAGH!!"
Deliora let out a painful screech, its eyes flashing red. Staggering back a step, it somehow managed to stay upright.
Then it lunged with a massive claw straight at Renzo.
"Watch out!!!"
Ur screamed from nearby and immediately dashed forward.
Renzo moved, vanishing in a blink and reappearing behind Deliora just in time to dodge the swipe.
"Don't come any closer!" He also warned Ur to stay back.
His eyes lit up—Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan with nine tomoe.
Sage chakra surged out of him like a tidal wave. In seconds, a towering chakra giant began to form—dense and solid, not like ordinary Susanoo.
In less than a second, a colossal Susanoo over 100 meters tall towered above the battlefield, casting a massive shadow over everyone.
Ur, Gray, and even Lyon—who had just regained consciousness—stared up, jaws dropped.
"What… the hell is that?"
Compared to this mountain-sized Susanoo, Deliora—at barely 20 meters—looked like a toddler trying to square up to a titan.
"Master, get Gray and Lyon out of here! I'm about to go all out!"
Ur heard Renzo's voice again, this time directly in her mind.
"Telepathy? Thought magic? Whatever it is—ugh, fine! You'd better explain everything when this is over, or I'm gonna beat you, you hear me!?"
Grumbling, she rushed back to Gray and Lyon, scooping both of them under her arms like sacks of rice, and bolted away from the battlefield.
"Ur! What is Renzo doing?!"
Gray was totally lost.
Lyon, equally confused, just stared.
What even happened while I was unconscious? Since when did Renzo turn into a walking disaster boss stronger than Master!?
"Shut it! I've got no idea either! You two are already in big enough trouble today—just wait till we're back! Hmph!"
Ur huffed, frustrated beyond words.
Seriously, why couldn't she get a single peaceful day with her students?
Still… she was worried about Renzo.
She wouldn't have left him there if he hadn't shown such overwhelming power. Plus, dragging these two around meant she'd only slow him down.
---
Back on the battlefield—
Renzo, inside his Susanoo, drew a massive chakra longsword from his waist. With a burst of sword aura, he swung it down hard at Deliora.
Sensing the threat, Deliora twisted its body and threw a punch upward, colliding head-on with the blade.
"RAAAH!!"
The chakra blade, humming with sharp, cutting energy, sliced deep into Deliora's fist—nearly splitting it in two.
But Deliora's monstrous defense barely held, though the impact still gouged two deep trenches beneath its feet as it was forced back.
Then, it opened its mouth again—this time, unleashing a massive wave of magic. A giant magic circle appeared, followed by a devastating energy blast fired straight at the Susanoo.
Renzo didn't flinch.
Controlling Susanoo, he raised its free hand and punched straight into the oncoming blast.
BOOOOM!!!
The explosion rocked the battlefield. The ground around them shattered, cracked, and was blown apart by the force.
Susanoo was shoved back more than ten meters, and its punching arm was visibly damaged, parts of the chakra armor cracking away.
But with Renzo's chakra constantly pouring in, the arm healed almost instantly. Within seconds, it was good as new.
"Susanoo fueled by Sage Chakra and my magic… now that's a real powerhouse."
Deliora was a demon so dangerous that even someone like Ur—who had Saint-level power—had no choice but to seal it away instead of fighting it head-on.
That alone showed how terrifying it truly was.
Honestly, Renzo felt like if Deliora had ended up joining Tartaros Guild, it would've been ranked really high—probably one of the strongest in that entire demon guild.
Its attack power, its defense—everything about it was monstrous.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!!
Renzo kept controlling Susanoo, swinging down strike after strike with the chakra blade. Each hit carved deep, savage wounds across Deliora's body.
But the damn thing just kept healing.
No matter how bad the damage looked, it was all gone in seconds.
Its regeneration was insane—and Renzo was starting to feel the pressure.
"This isn't gonna work!"
Sure, he had tons of chakra and magic, but Deliora was just getting more savage and more powerful the longer they fought. This kind of battle of attrition? Totally not in his favor.
And that's when he remembered—this thing wasn't running on magic. It used Cursed Energy.
"Right… It's not magic—it's curse power!"
His eyes sharpened. "Guess it's time to try that move."
In the next moment, Renzo launched himself from the crystal on Susanoo's forehead, leaving the Susanoo itself behind to continue battling Deliora within a limited range.
Now floating mid-air, Renzo raised both hands and aimed directly at the monster below. As a terrifying wave of magical energy surged from him, he chanted in a low, steady voice:
"Holy Purification!"
Right after, a massive platinum-gold magic circle—easily over 100 meters wide—appeared high above Deliora and Susanoo.
Sensing a dangerous energy that could actually kill it, Deliora broke through Susanoo's sword strike and snapped its head up at the looming array in the sky.
Then—without hesitation—it turned and tried to escape.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Renzo saw this and instantly had Susanoo punch straight into Deliora's side, slowing it down for a couple of seconds—just long enough.
Susanoo slammed the demon down and pinned it to the ground.
At that moment, the giant magic circle finally erupted.
A blinding, holy light burst forth, crashing down in a massive torrent of purifying energy.
The entire area was bathed in white-gold brilliance. Both Deliora and Susanoo were swallowed by it.
Susanoo, empowered by Sage Chakra + Magic and not a creature of darkness, remained completely unaffected.
Deliora? Not so lucky.
Because it was an evil demon through and through.
Hero Renzo got this spell—Holy Purification—from the Water Goddess Aqua herself. It was made to obliterate the undead, demons, and all things corrupted or evil.
"RAAAHHH!!!"
Deliora screamed as the holy light tore through it. Smoke poured from its body, and then... it began to disintegrate—its flesh turning to ash, its form slowly fading away.
It could feel it—both its body and soul were being erased.
It struggled, thrashed, tried desperately to escape. But the purifying light was too strong. Its power was being sealed, drained, and destroyed. It was growing weaker by the second.
And with Susanoo pinning it down, it had nowhere to run.
All it could do was scream—until finally, its body completely dissolved into ash and vanished into the light.
Ur was close enough with Gray and Lyon to see the entire purification.
They stared at the battlefield—at the empty spot where Deliora used to be.
"It's dead?" x3
The three of them stood frozen, silent.
Then, tears suddenly spilled down Gray's face.
"Dad… Mom… Deliora's gone. I finally avenged you. It's over… It's really over…" He sobbed uncontrollably.
He knew he should be happy right now—but the tears just wouldn't stop.
Ur, eyes red as well, gently placed her hand on his head.
"Let it out. Cry it all out. I couldn't take away the darkness in your heart—but your big brother Renzo… he did."
Meanwhile, Lyon was just staring at Renzo, still floating above, surrounded by light.
His mind was spinning.
"He's… that strong? Even stronger than Ur... How did he get this powerful? Could I ask him to teach me? Would he even say yes?"
For Lyon, there was only one thing that truly mattered—becoming stronger.
Everything else came second.
