~{INGRID'S POV}~
*
We walked for hours and yet I didn't break a sweat or feel exhausted but that couldn't be said for Jamie. He was exhausted but kept going and the sun was beginning to set and soon enough, night would fall.
"I think we should call it a day, Jamie," I concluded but he shook his head.
"Let's keep going, we can't sleep out here," he said and kept going.
"Don't be stubborn. And may I remind you who we are? We are creatures and staying in forests and sleeping on the soil should be a natural thing for us," I reminded him and he sighed before stopping to face me.
"But we spend the majority of our days living as humans," he dropped a point.
By now we were in the thickest of forests which had several roads leading to different places but since Jamie was my map, he knew where to go.
Without saying anything more, I found a good spot and immediately dropped to the ground to show that I have truly settled and won't be moving any further.
