"...I'm coming."
I jolted awake just to find Jamie about to wake me up but froze in surprise.
My eyes were half wide as I looked around before bringing my focus back to Jamie.
"We need to keep going and this time we won't stop until we find Red," I firmly said and he frowned slightly but nodded in agreement.
"Let's go then, time waits for no one," he said and got up on his feet and so did I.
I easily lifted my backpack as the encounter replayed in my mind especially those confident words;
"A mother has every right to her child because she is the one who gave it life and that is exactly how I am towards you. You can't harm me even if you want to because you got those strengths, abilities and power from me."
But did he actually give me these abilities and power?
If I remember correctly it was Lanzon and not him.
Well, I didn't bring Lanzon up because something told me not to.
"You're really a deep sleeper," Jamie joked.
