" Oh…that sounds wonderful. How did you meet him?" I heard his voice go into a low note. Was he feeling sad? He wasn't a smiley kind of person but he looked more gloomy at an instant. I watched him intently as I talked to him.
" He is the owner of the co-company that I signed a contract with. I sell him my vegetables now."
" oh I see…So what about us now?" He lifted up his head which had rested on his chest. His legs that were spread apart in a v manner were closed up and he looked at me.
I held his eye contact " Luther, you are a goo.." he hugged me impetuously and I was beyond shocked. My hands were squeezed tightly in his arms like I was some teddy bear.
" I am not going to force you to make any decision. I love you peace. I really do." He let go of me and he created a distance between him and I. I could not believe he was behaving very cool and calm headed even in this situation. I could only imagine the self control he was excercising for the past five years. This man has been waiting for me. Even when my husband had abandoned me, he kept on being by my side. I knew that I should not let personal feelings get into it. I should be considering him only for my children but I could not be the reason why he has been pulling aside so many other girls that he could have courted. Since he had been so faithful and he has been unrelentingly there. I should at least consider him. was it okay to sacrifice my freedom, just to reward him for his faithfulness?

" Madam! I have…oh I am so sorry, I will leave right away" Andrew barged into the greenhouse and turned back in a hurry when he saw Luther and I seated down together.
" Andrew! It isn't what you think please come."
" Yes Ma'am" he took a large bow and I wondered if he had a problem with Luther because he stared at him with a slight discontent and focused on me. He was always concerned with every person I met. He was what I thought of as a watch guard from those traditional Chinese films my mom watches.
"Ma'am I got report on" he adjusted his glasses and looked at Luther. I turned my head to look at him with my side eye. He closed his eyes and seemed to be enjoying the ecstasy of the scents that my flower gave by breathing in and out slowly.

" I found out that the one who had been sending you the threatening email was a woman that works in a paper making company. I couldn't get her personal email but she was using the company's personal email."
" Peace, someone has been threatening you?"
"All right, Andrew thank you. Can you leave Luther and I for a bit"
" Yes ma'am." I watched him leave.
" Peace someone was threatening you and you couldn't tell me?"
" I did not want you to worry, you are already very busy as a doctor. I wanted you to concentrate on your own problems.i can fix my own problems"

I handed my phone to him with the email app opened for him.
" The pictures from that night." He stared at the screen for a long time stolidly. " Did you ever think to capture the culprit."
" You know the one who framed us. The one who put aphrodisiac in our drinks."
" Oh, during that time when the evidence would have been fresh, I was busy obsessing over Thane to see me as innocent."
"Well there is something about masterminds, there is always a loophole that they leave so we could follow their trail even after years has passed."
" So you think we can still find the culprit?" I leaned towards him. I heard a silent voice say within me

" There is something I didn't tell you when the whole incident happened. i wasn't intending to tell you because I did not want you to wage or bear a grudge against your cousin in law without no solid evidence."
" My cousin in law? Grace?" He nodded
"Grace called me a night before the wedding anniversary and told me to come saying that you invited me." he paused" She also told me to come up into your bedroom. She gave me a drink to take ;she said it was Grandma's zobo drink."
" Yes, I do remember feeling really strange. It was the drink! Do you think she could have spiked it?"
"Yes, Grace is a cunning lady. I could tell from t he way she speaks and the way that every possible evidence was being linked to her. I knew that she was a possible culprit. But I was without solid evidence. Me revealing all that at that point in time when the whole family walked in would make it look as if I was trying to cover up for a mistake after being caught. My two posits are; she either is the culprit or she is the covering for the mastermind "
" Woah this is, this is to overwhelming. What did I ever do to her to have earned such dislike. I cared for her like my own sister. Sometimes I wonder if some people in my life ever deserved kindness from me. I feel like such a fool."
" Hey, people are people. You did the right thing caring for her. Don't feel bad, it is just your nature to care for people. That was exactly why I fell for you. You bring out the side in me that no one else would."
" Luther I, thank you. Thank you for this vital information." I squinted my eyes and I discarded any thoughts of self guilt so I could think and talk reasonably.
" So if I was to catch Grace exactly where she was or I was to confirm her hand in all this, I should find out if she works in the company that she used to send the email address."
" Yes, you are following up. I like peace this curious and inquisitive way." He smiled at me, and I looked away.
" Don't divert, we are being serious here. You knew all this and you did not tell me. I can't trust you anymore. Let's go and watch flowers." I told him thank you in my own words.
