Chapter 93 - Loki Is A Good Guy? Slap Your Face On The Spot!

In an effort to buy time, the three warriors of Asgard and the goddess Sif charged forward, trying to hold off the Destroyer. But no matter what methods they used, they couldn't stop it at all.

After all, this wasn't just any armor—it was originally indestructible, without any true weaknesses. It couldn't be stopped; all they could do was fight and retreat.

"That's right, that's right! This is the kind of effect I wanted from my armor!" Tony Stark's eyes lit up as he watched the scene unfold.

The goddess Sif's sneak attack on the Destroyer had pierced its neck. If it had been armor of his design, she would have been instantly incapacitated. If he had been inside, the attack would have killed him on the spot. Even if the armor was unmanned, a single blow would have destroyed all the circuits.

But this Destroyer Armor was clearly different. It had no wires or motors inside—its operation relied on magic, a kind of technology Tony didn't fully understand.

Isn't this exactly the kind of armor he'd dreamed of? Powerful, invincible, remotely controlled, capable of being deployed even on distant planets. It could fight in any location, offering incredible security.

This was the kind of technology he wanted.

But, unfortunately, his current technology hadn't reached that level, and this creation belonged to the magic side, a principle beyond his comprehension.

For now, he could only watch greedily, but perhaps in the future, he could get related technologies from Thor. Even if he couldn't get them for free, just referencing them for small projects could be invaluable.

Meanwhile, the Destroyer was wreaking havoc, and everyone was fleeing in panic. They couldn't even attempt a basic counterattack—it was a humiliating sight.

Thor in the video, having seen the destruction unfold, finally made up his mind. He couldn't allow his friends and the woman he loved to die because of him.

Without the power of Thor, he lacked the strength to fight the Destroyer. All he could do now was sacrifice himself to put an end to this chaos.

Thor walked toward the Destroyer, then spoke to the goddess Sif. "Sif, you've done enough. It's time for you to go."

"No," Sif replied, her voice firm. "I want to die like a warrior. Today's story will be told."

This was her obsession, one rooted in Asgardian values.

"Live, and then tell the story to the children yourself. Go!" Thor insisted.

"You must return to Asgard and stop Loki. I have my own plan," he added.

As everyone retreated, Thor walked toward the Destroyer, seemingly having an epiphany. It was as if he truly understood something at that moment.

For him, death had never been something to fear. Dying in battle had always been his idea of glory. That had been Thor's view for a long time.

But now, things were different. He wasn't fighting for himself, nor was he dying for the glory of battle. He was fighting to protect the people he loved.

For them, he would sacrifice everything—even the glory he had once valued above all else. So, what did it matter?

What was more important than his friends and his loved ones?

At that moment, he understood what his father and king had tried to teach him. Unfortunately, it was too late.

"Brother, no matter how much I've wronged you, I apologize if I led you to this point. But these people are innocent. Killing them will bring you no glory," Thor continued as he walked toward the Destroyer.

"If you want to kill me, then do it. But afterward, let's have a truce," Thor said.

Hearing this, the Destroyer stopped. It turned and walked away.

"Loki still has my brother in his heart, so let me just say it—he's not a bad guy!" Thor outside the screen exclaimed in surprise.

Thor had always known that, deep down, he might be the lone star of the gods, capable of hurting everyone he loved—his parents, his brother, his friends, his lovers. He never believed in such a tragic fate, but since then, he had come to value family far more than before.

It was only after losing something precious that one truly understood its value. Thor was now in a similar state of losing and regaining. It was recorded in Rowan's diary: he had lost much, but upon returning to reality, he found he still had everything that mattered.

It created a feeling of loss and rediscovery, a sense of appreciation for what remained. Even his mischievous younger brother, Loki, was someone he wasn't willing to blame any longer.

But just as Thor spoke, everyone witnessed a shocking turn of events. The Destroyer, which had turned to leave, suddenly launched a devastating backhand attack, sending Thor flying.

Thor's smile froze. A moment ago, he had been overjoyed, thinking that Loki wasn't truly angry. Despite their many conflicts, they were brothers. But now, reality slapped him in the face.

How cruel reality was. It wasn't as he imagined.

After all, he wasn't Thor anymore. Without the power of Thor, how could he withstand the might of the Destroyer? In another timeline, even Hawkeye Barton could have killed him with a single arrow. That was how fragile he was now.

Was this how it would end?

Am I dying?

Thor couldn't believe it. Was this the end of him? A mighty Thor who didn't die in battle for Asgard—was he really going to die like this, just a common man on Earth?

Everyone watching was stunned by this unexpected turn of events.

According to Rowan's diary, Loki—who was both good and evil, and the second prince of Asgard—was deeply emotional and would feel sorrow and pain over the deaths of his parents. It seemed that the conflict between Loki and Thor had always been just childish quarrels. In essence, they would never truly fight to the death. Thor had always left a place for Loki in his heart, and Loki had always done the same for him.

Yet, unexpectedly, Loki struck this ruthless blow, showing just how cold he could be.

What brotherhood?

What "bro"?

Is there such a thing?

I, Loki, don't have a brother like that.

"No, the matter's not over yet!" Nick Fury couldn't help but say. "This isn't how it ends. It can't end like this!"
