In the diary, Rowan's sharp complaints arrived as scheduled.
Thor read them this time without the fury he once felt. Something had clearly shifted in his thinking since earlier.
As he scanned Rowan's entries, a trace of confusion crossed his face.
Is that really my father?
A Level God Father? That strong?
Thor had always known Odin was powerful—he had grown up hearing the legends—but he hadn't realized the sheer gulf that existed between them.
From his perspective, the difference in strength between himself and his father shouldn't be that vast. After all, hadn't he just smashed Odin's own super-weapon, the Destroyer? Wasn't that proof that he was strong?
Among the people Thor knew, aside from his father and the mysterious Ancient One, there shouldn't be many who could match him in combat.
But Rowan's words told a different story—one that implied the gap between himself and Odin wasn't just one level, but several. A chasm, not a step.
His power couldn't even be compared to Odin's. He could only be measured alongside the so-called "green titan"—the Hulk.
And who even was that green titan?
Even though Rowan had once again insulted him as "the god of the hammer," this time Thor found himself unable to refute it. He had seen with his own eyes how his divine power only returned after Mjolnir was unsealed. It was thanks to the hammer—not himself—that he had made a comeback and achieved victory.
Even he wasn't sure if his power came from within or if it all stemmed from the weapon.
To be called "the god of the hammer" in person… and be unable to respond?
It actually made sense.
Now he understood just how naive he'd been. His father was a true Level God Father, a being powerful enough to conquer the Galaxy and claim rule over the Nine Realms.
As for himself?
He had no idea just how wide the gap between them truly was—but he knew it was big.
That realization shattered Thor's previous understanding of his own strength.
He used to think that while he wasn't quite at the very top, he was at least among the elite just below that.
But now?
He couldn't even claim to be the strongest on Earth.
No wonder Rowan mocked him so freely.
"Level God Father…" Nick Fury silently etched that term into his memory. There might not be a Level God Father on Earth, but it was obvious from Rowan's words that Odin stood at the very peak of this current narrative stage.
No wonder Odin had been able to protect Earth.
This even aligned with Nick's own earlier theories—that Earth's relative peace might be tied directly to Odin's presence. With Odin around, many potential crises had likely been averted before they even began.
On the other end of the line, Tony Stark had also noticed Rowan's classification of Odin as a Level God Father. He turned off the audio and began speaking to J.A.R.V.I.S. in a low voice.
"J.A.R.V.I.S, create a new file. Label it 'Asgard.' Record all known data on Thor and Odin—and mark Odin as unparented."
"File created, sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. confirmed.
Even though Tony had just breathed a sigh of relief after Thor's power was restored—and had acknowledged Thor as a future comrade-in-arms within the Avengers—he wasn't about to leave anything to chance.
Friend or not, Thor was still a powerful alien god.
He might be friendly now—but what about later?
If even Rowan, who had once saved Tony's life, warranted a full risk profile, then Thor definitely did.
Tony had already started planning a contingency: an Anti-Thor Armor.
"Create another profile: 'Anti-Thor Warframe,'" Tony ordered.
"New profile created."
"Now take down some design notes," Tony continued. "The armor must be lightning-resistant. It also has to withstand heavy strikes and endure high bursts of energy output."
He recalled the thunder energy Thor had unleashed earlier—so overwhelming that even the Destroyer had its combat ability significantly boosted by it.
"Noted," J.A.R.V.I.S. replied.
Tony paused, thinking further.
"Also, include a reminder to incorporate magical runes. I don't know where or how I'll learn them yet, but write it down. If there's ever a chance, I need to master some magical knowledge. When dealing with magical enemies, the best counter is magic."
Tony knew his own scientific capabilities were top-tier. He could dissect almost any principle with ease and build whatever came to mind. He was, by all measures, a super-genius.
But magic… magic was a whole different arena.
He was worried that he might never fully grasp it—but regardless of difficulty, he had to try.
At the same time, he needed to start understanding Asgard better—to prepare for the possibility that Asgard might one day turn hostile. As far-fetched as that might sound, the version of events Rowan revealed in the diary made it a frightening possibility.
In that alternate timeline, Thor had been killed—and Asgard responded by sending an army to annihilate Earth.
That alone made Tony's sense of crisis explode.
It might never happen—but if it did?
He wasn't going down without a fight.
"I also need a reminder to start experimenting with new alloy formulas," Tony said. "Search the black market for the best available metals. Anything useful?"
J.A.R.V.I.S. took a moment to scan global databases.
"Based on current black-market listings and available seller data, two metals stand out in terms of strength, durability, and other properties," J.A.R.V.I.S. reported.
"The first is called Adamantium. A small amount was once sold, but it was quickly purchased and disappeared from circulation.
The second is Vibranium.
This metal reportedly comes from an African tribal nation known as Wakanda. However, Wakanda remains highly secretive, and data on the country is extremely limited. Despite that, based on strength, toughness, and ductility, Vibranium currently surpasses all known metals in performance.
No alloy developed in any global lab can currently match it."
