Soon, the third day of this new hell started. Unlike day two, Xavier got some sleep as his body was completely exhausted, and only woke up when the guard started banging her baton on the iron bars. They all woke up with a groan and Xavier yawned as he rose to his feet and opened his Stigma Window.

He still haven't recovered fully from yesterday's hunt, but he was recovering faster than a normal person. As they walked out of the grey building and headed to where the Orb of Eldara was, Xavier scooted over to where Mickey was.
"How much HP do you have?" Xavier whispered
"76/110." Mickey answered and Xavier looked at him in surprise. Despite having a wound on his side, Mickey had more than double the amount of HP he had. The three of them found a section of the ground, not too far nor too close to the Orb of Eldara to sit. Xavier could sense the prisoners looking at him, some sneaking glances while others blatantly staring, and he couldn't help but sigh.
'Calm down, this could be good. It would be far easier to get information if they respect me.' Xavier thought, but that didn't improve his mood. As he knew that a reputation also attracted the wrong kind of crowd. Xavier handed a copper sword to both Maria and Mickey, before he started sharpening his own daggers. As he did, someone walked forward, blocking the sunlight and casting a shadow over him.
"Good morning, my name is Tsubasa and I'm here to offer you a....proposal." The tall man with blonde hair, a serpentine dragon tattoo that started from his right hand and ended with the head at his neck, said with a smile. Looking at him, Xavier could see claw marks all over his face and one of his sleeves were torn off. He carried an axe in his hands, and four loyal goons travelled behind him.
"Hello Tsubasa, my name is Xavier and they are Mickey and Maria." Xavier said and Mickey frowned as he recognized them.
"Ah, so that's your name. Either way, I as I said before, I have a proposal. I heard about what you did yesterday, and I would like you to join my gang, the Rising Dragons." Tsubasa said with a good natured smile, and Mickey frowned even more.
"Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to decline." Xavier said, and a frown appeared on Tsubasa's face for a second, before it he smiled again.
"Are you sure? In a place like this, having a gang that'll back you no matter will increase your chances of survival. I'm sure you are smart enough to realize that things are only going to get worse from now on, so joining our gang would be beneficial for you....and your friends as well." He said, as he laid his eyes on both Mickey and Maria. Mickey glared at him while Maria shivered.
"I'm sure you're right, but still, I'll have to decline." Xavier said and Tsubasa's face morphed into one of rage.
"You must think you are hot shit huh. Let me tell you something, if you survive a week in this place, you will be begging to join my gang. I know things about this place that you don't, and just because you can kill ten of those little monsters doesn't mean you will survive in this place for long. Don't think for a second that those two losers will be enough to help you." He said, glaring at Xavier, but he didn't break eye contact and stared right back at him.
"Let's go boys." Tsubasa said, before leaving with his goons.
"Why didn't you join him? The Rising Dragons are one of the strongest gangs in Gensin prison." Maria asked, turning to Xavier.
"Yes, they are one of the strongest in Gensin prison, but this isn't exactly Gensin prison now is it. Most of their members are still back at the prison, and that guy Tsubasa is one of their top members, and he doesn't have the best of reputations." Xavier said
"You heard about it as well." Mickey said. Inside Gensin Capital Prison, the Rising Dragon was one of the gangs with the most members, ranking in the top fifties with thousands of members. Tsubasa is one of the top dogs in the gang, known for a his brutal and insane personality that earned him the nickname, the Brutal Gladiator. It is rumoured that he organizes bloody death matches between members of the gang for entertainment. The reason why the other top dogs of the gang didn't stop him was because they earned a fair bit by gambling on the winner of these death matches, but Tsubasa does it for the love of the game. Both Xavier and Mickey knew that even if they joined the Rising Dragons, their lives wouldn't necessarily improve, but become worse, and they would probably die far quicker. After all, their isn't much a measly gang could do when the guards had such a tight lease on them.
"But, what makes the idea really tempting is that he said he knows something about this place we don't." Xavier said
"He's probably bluffing, or he figured out how to increase his attributes. Or he could have overheard the guards or discovered something deep in the forest. Either way, what difference does it make. It won't improve our lives and we will probably figure it out later anyway." Mickey said with a snort, and started sharpening his sword again.
"You're right." Xavier said with a smile and started sharpening his daggers again.
