I lean over him, brushing his cheek with the back of my hand. "Once you wake up, maybe we can merge bodies or something… hehe~" My laugh is weak, dry, half-hearted. "I hope it's just sleep, okay? So please… just wake up when you're done."
I sit up with a groan, cracking my neck. "Alright. Time to start Mission: Wake Up My Boyfriend—uh, fake boyfriend. Alien. Whatever." I glance down at him again and immediately wince. "First step: cover this nude statue of a man before I lose the last few brain cells I have."
I grab the nearest blanket from the couch and shove it over him like I'm throwing a tarp over a forbidden artifact. "There. Dignity saved. Mine, mostly."
"Let's start with the classic method," I mutter, marching into the kitchen. I grab a glass, fill it with water, and come back like I'm holding a magical potion of resurrection. "Alright, snow prince. Time to wake up."
