In the end, Eric finally decided not to ask about the event that transpired during the evolution of girls. He thought. It should be why their mentality and willpower are better than boys. They want to live, they fight against the mutation. I guess, it's not bad.
Eric glanced at the zombie and instructed the system to show him information.
{Name: Lurker Zombie
Stage: Third Mortal Stage
Abilities: Shadow Stalker
Strength: C-
Agility: D+
Durability: C-
Stamina: C-
Intelligence: C
Remarks: A zombie who developed intelligence to recognize the perfect hiding spot. Be careful, lest it will kill you without you knowing.}
The zombies are getting creative as they evolve. I guess, after I wrote them their individual martial arts notebook, I have to write the Zombie Compendium, for them to study on the third day. I'll include Yeobui's remarks, too. He grinned inwardly.
They were not the same as him, who possessed the ability to analyze, instantly gaining information, causing him to conquer the enemy stronger than him.
Although the schedule was becoming hectic as he kept adding more on the next three days, Eric was adamant to follow it. After all, on the fourth day, Samantha and Jasper have to create the Evolution Crystal-Powered Water Purifier.
He turned to Axel and asked, "Has anyone already decided their choice of weapon, so I could create them martial arts?"
Axel nodded.
"Good. I'll task you to inform them to gather other empty notebooks, so I can write to them. They could ask for my opinion if there was something that needed to be clarified. I will assess and teach you all on the third night. That is all. I'll return to my room."
He turned around as Axel nodded and bowed his head deeply, waiting for the Emperor to enter the pink gate and vanished on his line of sights.
He swept his gaze to others, who did not notice his presence, seemingly immersed in their breathing session and meditation. The Emperor cast a glance at them, smiled, and entered the house.
Axel dropped to his butt. He glanced at the Lurker Zombie and realized the position where it was hiding. Not far from the pink gate, there was a tree and on its trunk was the garbage. The garbage's position – trash scattered – obviously conveyed the Lurker Zombie was hiding there and pounced at him.
Thankfully, his great reflex and ability control, as the Emperor stated, enabled him to react and kill it. Out of frustrations, he glanced at the Lurker Zombie once more, stood up, and kicked the Lurker Zombie with a twisted expression on his face.
He grabbed its legs, dragged it backward, and threw it at a distance. Suddenly, his senses screamed and ran towards their house, as though his life depended on it. When he got neared, he turned around and saw an empty, dusty place.
His face turned ugly, recognizing he lost a lot of aura after running and cursed under his breath. He entered the house, locked the gate, and waited for others to finish their breathing session by guarding them.
However, he soon realized he received a task from the Emperor, so he hastily woke them up…
…
Eric did not have much to do aside from overthinking.
He was waiting for Axel to finish collecting the notebooks and information about their choice of weapon… or Zoe might complete the task on his stead.
At the moment, Eric was analyzing whether he should include internal martial arts technique, or only the external martial arts technique.
"They won't be able to use the qi energy as it is difficult to feel in this world in the first place. Perhaps, there might be a special place where the energy of heaven and earth are the thickest but it is definitely not here."
Eric continued to ponder.
"The reason my Grand Celestial Strikes and other Heaven rank external martial arts techniques worked was simply because it harnessed the qi around the world, not what I accumulated inside my dantian and qi core, to which the internal technique's significance comes.
But then again, the main purpose of the external martial arts technique is to continue amplifying their ability effects. So, even if they could not sense the qi energy, just by utilizing their ability, which contained the energy, should suffice."
Eric felt trouble.
"But then again, it would be a waste if they are unable to harness the qi energy and imbue it to their technique, as it is why I was able to defeat the first mortal stage zombie."
When he heard the footsteps on the stairs, he shrugged.
"Well, it's not difficult to create a martial art that is similar to my world. After all, it's pretty much the same, only for the external martial arts, that is. As for internal technique…"
In fact, breathing technique was already considered an internal technique. The breathing technique he tailored for them was altered even in its application—energy absorption instead of qi absorption.
However, he only felt a bit wasteful if they were unable to utilize the qi around the world, even if it was not abundant. After all, it was one of the main reasons he was able to defeat a first mortal stage zombie despite being a third mortal stage zombie.
"It's also pretty much impossible to give them a Heaven rank external technique since they need to have a Heaven grade physique first, which has almost perfect affinity with the qi."
As a result, his Grand Celestial Strikes and any other Heaven rank external martial arts technique was able to control the energy of the world, without having a qi core.
Eric was in a dilemma. In the end, when he heard the footsteps echoing on the stairs, he shrugged, reaching a definite conclusion.
"At the very least, with the external martial arts technique without having the ability to control the qi should make them stronger than others in the same realm. This should do."
Even so, Eric was determined to train his subjects to become stronger, so he could conquer the university and finally establish his empire…
