(Ruby's pov)
It's been a few months since I was born, but I've already realized that we're not in Japan, as I thought, but rather in Japanese territorial waters.
From what the adults told me, there was a zombie apocalypse in the world, and mutants had joined the zombies.
It was like I was in one of those horror novels I read in my past life.
In fact, I got used to my new family pretty quickly. Mom and Dad really love me and my brother very much. Even though Mom has to kick Dad out of his workshop if he neglects to rest.
How irresponsible Dad is!
Also, I don't know if he knew that we understand or not, but when we were walking around the city, my brother and I stared at two statues in the center of the city. I thought people were crazy if they decided to make a life-size anime figure. But as it turned out, these two girls were the reason I have a life. They saved many people, and helped us organize the house we know now.
It was especially hard for me to believe that they were cat girls, just like in the anime.
But during my aunts' conversations, I heard two unfamiliar names many times, as it turned out, they were talking about these two, cat girls.
Speaking of aunts, I had a lot of them!
And what struck me most was that in the house we live in, there is only mom and dad, an ordinary couple. The rest are lesbian couples, which aroused my interest. There was also another couple that I did not expect. Aunt Saya, constantly called Aunt Yuriko, mom, at first I thought that this was just their role-playing game, but then I found out that they really are mom and daughter. But I do not blame them in any way! Who cares who they sleep with! No one has the right to judge them! It's their personal business.
To be honest, I actually had an older sister, or something like that. Her name is Alice, she plays with us all the time, so she's definitely a good person.
Life on this island is pretty peaceful, although I often hear about other countries and what's going on there, but I don't care about them. The most important thing I care about is my family, which is very large in this life, but I'm happy about it.

Right now I'm sitting on my mother's lap and just listening to the adults' conversation, trying to catch interesting information.

Not far from us, two women appeared, one of whom I recognized from that statue, and the second I see for the first time. She was dressed like a maid, so most likely she is this woman's maid. The adults did not notice her, and continued talking about their own topics, and only my brother and I stared at her.
"Hello everyone!" she said, and all the adults immediately turned in her direction.
Aunt Shizuka and older sister Alice immediately rushed to hug her, but she couldn't hold them back, and they fell to the floor together. It was a bit funny, but it seemed like those two missed her the most.
Soon, she joined us on the couch, and dad introduced us to her, and my brother and I couldn't stop staring at her ears.
"Can I hold her?" she asked my mom, and she immediately agreed, which made me happy, I even saw my brother's jealous look, hehe
"Aren't you a cute little girl." she said, but I couldn't stop staring at her ears, and she must have noticed that, so she bowed her head, allowing me to touch them.
But I have to be careful, I don't know how sensitive they are, I don't want to hurt her.
As soon as I touched them, I immediately felt the softness of her fluff. Her ears were pleasant to the touch, that I could not stop touching her ears.
But after a while she sat me on her lap, that upset me a little, that I lost my fluff...
She began to tell us her story, which can only be attributed to fantasy stories, but all the more so the adults immediately believed her, and were not too surprised.

After the aunts ran away, mom and dad went to give a tour of the city, and I saw how oneesan was very surprised at how quickly an entire city was built in a year and a half.
When she reached the middle of the city, she stopped and looked at dad.

"These are your statues! The whole city voted to build them!" he said.
"I second you! This statue shows how gorgeous the mistress is." - said the maid, nodding.
"Chloe, not you… Anyway, these look more like big anime figures than statues." - that's what I thought too!
"Do you want us to tear them down?" - asked dad.
"No, as much as I don't want them to be there, they're too beautiful to tear down."
Oneesan is a narcissus?
After which we walked around a bit more and returned home, where mom led them to a room that turned out to be for them. I always wondered why maids clean a room where no one lives. But it turned out that everyone was waiting for oneesan to return.
I wonder if it's weird that I consider her oneesan instead of my aunt? But I don't care, I just want an older sister who's a cat girl! Although I also want to meet my sister's wife, who is also a cat girl. I definitely need to touch her ears to compare whose fluff is better.
After a while it was time for dinner, but none of my aunts came.
Apparently they are trying very hard...
We sat down at the table, I, without any shame, poked my mother in the chest, she looked at my father, who took the bottle and left. Without thinking twice, I started drinking milk.
When I finished I saw an understanding smile on oneesan's face.
Does she know something?
It soon became late, but I still wanted to touch oneesan's ears a little, so she let me do it, she lay down on the bed, and I crawled up to her head and started touching her ears.
Today my mother allowed oneesan to sleep with her, and I am going to fully enjoy the fluff...
