Julius didn't know that his future wife and brother-in-law were watching him.
"Everyone, as the new owner of Lily Rain, I would like to specially thank you all for your patronage."
"I am a man who speaks very few words in the face of troubles. I have come to learn that Rain does not fall on one roof alone. What I have learned in my short time, is that the greatest glory lies not in never falling but in rising whenever we fall."
His words shocked not just the masses, but also Susan and Oden.
What great wisdom was this? His words though short, held boundless meaning that made their hearts surge with unknown emotions.
Was this still the trash Julius Bequillia many people spoke of?
It's said he can't even construct a simple poem and was known as the worst prince of all with no talent for literature or war. But here he was, proving the rumors false. And the more he spoke, the more revered he looked. Even the peasants who were illiterate, could feel how powerful his words were.
Among the masses, Susan murmured his words with deep appreciation.
[The glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.]
"One falsehood spoils a thousand truths."
Julius paused, sweeping his eyes across the masses with a confident light.
"Many doubt my ability and skills… But please, don't let the mouths of deceitful people lead you astray."
"Why? Because you are not livestock that can be controlled at every turn. You are individuals, people can never be used by others!"
"Thus, if anyone says I don't have the ability to bring this great establishment up, then tell them to open their dog eyes and watch carefully."
"Because starting today, I, Master Julius, will show you what true fine dining is!"
Fine dining?
Julius nodded, as if confirming his previous words.
"Starting today, my Lily Rain will introduce two MAIN dishes, completely free for you who have been loyal to us since our time of need."
Many people suddenly sat up, staring at Julius with red passionate eyes filled with immense anticipation.
What? two new dishes? Free today for them?
It would be a lie to say they weren't worked up by Julius's speech.
Yes! They were all smart people and weren't idiots that could be led around the nose by evil people. They say Julius is an unreliable fool, but can't they use their own brains to access the matter?
And free dishes for their loyalty?
Woo-hew~
In a span of a few breaths, Julius made them feel super smart, special and also very hungry too.
Some even became loyal fans after he made them feel respected. They now puffed out their chests, truly feeling like they were one with Lily Rain.
Flock! If anyone ever talks bad about it again they might just punch the person in the face in fury.
How dare you talk bad about Lily Rain in their presence?
Seeing their fiery eyes, Julius inwardly smiled at his accomplishments. Today, they will get a taste of two new meals, namely:
The Taco Bell experience and The KFCAnnihilation.
Those were the names of the newly introduced Dishes!
...
Taco Bell?… KFC?…
What was that?
With questionable thoughts, everyone looked at Julius's disappearing Silhouette with burning gazes.
New delicacies?—Could it be that the reason why Lily Rain hasn't made a move during these past few days was because of these strange delicacies?
At the same time, Rosh began leading the staff in taking note of everyone here. Although both twins were guards, Rosh was quite smart and could have been a scholar if not for an unfortunate frame-up situation in his past.
It was his uncle's family that framed him up for an offense he didn't commit, cutting off his road to become a scholar.
In today's world, being a scholar was far superior than being a guard or even a general. Although both professions are well respected, the world finds scholars to be the next thing close to nobility.
It was simple—Who do you respect, a man reading and holding a feathered pen… or a man who knew nothing else but picking up weapons and hacking enemies to death.
It's true that most generals, commanders, and men of war are literate, but one must understand that they didn't study in depth scholarly matters like economics and so on. They only learned enough to read and write for military purposes.
With a few words from Julius, Rosh could see Julius's purpose, which made him respect Julius even more.
Who says the Sixth prince is trash? His vision and far-sighted thinking was even greater than his.
Rosh whispered his orders to the respectful staff, "Everyone of you has undergone training by the Young master's side. Remember his teachings when you perform your task."
Right!
The staff nodded vigorously and broke apart with warm and inviting smiles on their lips. The staff chosen and trained, were all literate to some extent. They were part of the servants and maids who left the palace with Julius. They understood that until their young master can plant his feet firmly on the ground, they will have to help out here in the restaurant.
With smiles and clean attires, they made their way to each guest in pairs. "Sirs, madams, once more, we thank you for your patronage."
Standing before the guests, the staff made everyone feel respected and comfortable. Even those with low status in society, felt happy, having never received such good treatment before.
The staff who were dawned with clean attires, gave good vibes to the people. They looked confident, professional and inviting. "As thanks, we will be handing out special tokens with your names engraved on them in a week's time."
"Special tokens?" A guest blurted out.
The staff nodded kindly, "Yes. These tokens can only be used by you. And once a month, you will be allowed to use these tokens for at most Two guests of your choosing."
