I envy you so much, Elinoise...
You're born as a commoner, you live your life not following someone's foot print. You can do anything, because nobody expect from you. If i have a choice to live the way you do, i will despise it. Its unbearable to think i am walking the same path as you, the same school as you, and the same room as you. But why is it that you always shine so bright than everyone else, when you're just a commoner. Why is it that whenever i see you, you always have the time of your life. I really hate that about you...
But what i hated the most out of everything is how despite your position, or your lack of charisma someone is still there looking for you, friends with you, and not leave you. I once have someone I'm very close with, but he's become someone i do not know, being a daughter of a bureaucrat, it never once felt that it assisted me.
That is why i really hate everything about you.

This chapter starts off several days later from the previous event.
It was a chilly night, Reymund is with his mom upstairs helping him with the assignment.
"Mom how do i get the maximum value of this equation?" Reymund asks his mom
"That? you have to get the value of A first, then use this formula to find X" Her response as she teach Reymund the step by step process.
I can't believe at a young age of 9 i am solving Pre-calculus, Reymund thought followed by, this world is supposed to be full of magic and sword clash, not nerding out on some numbers.
The only thing exciting is professor Earl's lesson, our homeroom teacher in not even teaching shit, just life lesson and skedaddle.
"Mom, i think this is not for me." Reymund told his mom
"Ow, quitting already?"
Reymund then nod his head.
"You know your father used to say words like that when we were young as your age"
"Really?"
"Yes, he is the kind of kid that would storm off every time our math teacher come to class."
"why is that?"
"He just really hate math, but also because our math teacher at that time is bald, your father had a weird judgment that math makes you bald"
Reymund covers his laugh with his hand as he listen to his father's school life. His mom told funny moments that she found out to her husband. The story took all night, brighting up Reymunds mood.
"And then 25 Years from now he is an amazing chief. from a kid who hate math he became a righteous man. So i hope you too, would do the same."
Reymund was already feeling drowsy and cannot make his eyes stay open for a few seconds. Katniss, puts him in bed, arranging the blanket and turn off the light and said
"Goodnight Rey"
and she silently close the door.

It was the next day dark cloud is covering the sun, and the bird is already taking shelter despite this early in a morning.
"Don't forget to bring your umbrella" His mom Katniss reminds him about the upcoming rain.
Before Reymund could take shelter by the school hallway, the rain is already downpouring. All students ran to their nearest shade to take cover. As Reymund walk to the school hallway looking outside.
The soil can hardly be seen under the flowing rainwater. The rain drop is too thick, that looking at a distance is like looking at a thick fog.
Every other moment a soft thunder can be heard in the background. Unfortunately, Elinoise won't be able to come to school right now due to common cold. Reymund puts his rainy boots on the locker and others that is not essential inside the room. like umbrella, house key and etc.
He was about lean forward to lock the door using the locker key chained to his ID when he heard a shout on one of the vacant rooms. He looked back, the sound that he heard is not very loud and that it can easily mistaken as a sound of a rain. But he is certain he heard someone shout.
After finishing locking the locker Reymund went to investigate the cause of the sound. He looked onto the glass of the door to check inside. It was pitch black, all of the room was dark. After few checks he brushes it off that maybe he was just hearing things and that it is just a thunder.
He was about to go to the second floor when a loud bang was heard on one of the empty rooms that he just check and she saw a girl who just went out of that room and went straight to the opposite hallway.
In Reymund mind, Isn't that Sarah? what is she doing in that room?
After some time he then saw a man walks out of that room.
After seeing that man Reymund quickly hid under the cemented railings of the stairs. The looks around the area as he went out to where Sarah went.
After the strange man left, Reymund breathe deeply as he thinks, That guy is an upperclassman judging by the color of his ID. What exactly is his relationship with Sarah.

After that it was the first subject as Sir. Richard was discussing about the history of the country and the politics. Reymund on the other hand was looking onto the vacant sit of Sarah, as he can't focus after what happened earlier.

Bell rang..
Majority of the students are in the canteen since it was raining hard outside it has became crowded inside. Reymund who is usually with Elinoise avoids the canteen due to loud environment, as an introvert Reymund is having a hard time eating at that kind of environment.
He was walking through the hallway, looking for a vacant room that has an air condition. he wondered, if it wasn't raining i would have eaten to the rooftop, but that is not happening.
"Sigh, better look for a room then." He whisper
After a bit of checking, he found one room that was just used recently all student come out of that room. and went to the other classes. Reymund who was waiting on the hallway went inside a bright, cozy empty room.
This room is very wide and has a lot of sit, this is what you would call a lecturing hall, usually superior upperclassman are the ones who can use this room.
At first he turn off all the lights at the back to make it a bit dimmer as he sit down on the last row sit, ready his lunch, and takes out his side dish.

Reymund thank his mom about the food,
He scooped the rice and fork the pork when suddenly Sarah came barging in. She did not looked around the room and quickly pushed the door so the person on the other side wouldn't enter.
"Hey, what did i tell you about blocking the door" Says Lukas.
"I have a class in here, please go away!" Sarah responded
"Don't lie, it is still your lunch. Your next class is going to be 40 minutes from now, and most definitely this is not your room."
"Please just leave me alone, i am not in a mood to talk to someone." Sarah then replied.
Hmm, puff-HAHAHAHA!-HAHAHHA!
the unknown person outside suddenly started laughing maniacally. then he said with a playful tone "what are you talking about, were childhood friends right? if you have a problem, you can complain to your childhood friend?"
"right?"
And he suddenly ram through the door, destroying the door hinge. Sarah who was blocking the door went flying backwards by the sudden push.
Reymund who saw the whole thing ask to himself, Guys i am in here. does anyone not notice that i am here?
Reymund is at the last corner of the room where the light he just turned off after entering. that's why from the front row where the light is, cannot spot Reymund in the dark.
Lukas then barge in said "You done it now Sarah, you made me Destroyed the door. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!" As he start shouting.
"Stop this Lukas, this is not who you are. You were supposed to be kind and half-hearted." Sarah is trying to get him back to sanity.
"What are you talking about, Sarah?"
"Are you idiot, have you already lost your mind. did that person who you showed your powers with, not only stole your heart, but also your mind?"
"Did you forgot that you were always vulnerable to bad things from the start?"
"Did you forget your promise, that if i will protect you, you will promise that only i could use your magic" Lukas told her with a grinning face.
"You have no idea how much i sacrificed everything, so that you would live your life happy from any threats. I made it so everyone who approaches you with bad intention would vanish. I made it so your so called "best-friends" would not be making fun of you. I made it so even if you're repeating two courses, your proctor would not assign you to a lower class, despite that lackluster brains of yours. i tried everything in my power to help you, academic, athletic, and magic. and despite all that, your promise?"
"Just the first day of the second year, i saw you using your Partner Enhancing Magic to someone you barely know."
"Duh no-no, Better yet, I BARELY KNOW!" As he forcefully pointing himself
"You did not ask me about your concern, i could have dispatch that professor. You know what i am capable of, BUT YOU NEGLECT ME!"

"A promise is a promise, i will continue to do my bargain, so you have to continue your part in the bargain. Okay, childhood friend" Lukas once again said with a playful tone.
Sarah was speechless, she can't believe that she is responsible for her childhood friend's demise.
While crying she said, "I'm sorry..."
"I'm really sorry..."
"Please don't do this. I don't want to be scared of you, i need you to be the childhood friend i knew and love."
"HAHAHA oh Sarah, you know WHAT!, you've won. i will return back to my GOOD OLD playful days."
"But first, can you tell me the name of the person who you used your power with?" Lukas asks with a straight face.
"What are you going to do?" Sarah asks back
Lukas Giggles "You can't answer my question with your question, everyone knows that"
"TELL ME! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO HIM!" Sarah asks this time she shouted the question.
"I see, you actually shouted at me" Lukas said in disbelief
"i applaud you for that, as a token of betrayal, I'll tell you"
"I will kill him...."
Reymund who was sitting at the last row sit had just finished eating his Pork Adobo, and was about to close his lunch box when he hears that.
hmm?...
"After i kill him i will continue with my usual self, no enemies, no hate, just like what you want."
"I don't want that..."
"please stop this" Sarah told him.
"Urrgg! now were just repeating ourselves, just say his name okay. It is a win-win for both of us, your not gonna get another scars and i will start being my old self."
When Reymund heard about her scars that the perpetrator who is responsible for it, he became mad.
Suddenly a fire arrow was released in the lecturing hall hitting the professor's desk in the center. The Fire magic alarm was activated nullifying all incoming magic after that as the room started releasing cold smoke like a fire extinguisher in the affected area. Both Lukas and Sarah is affected by the smoke. coughing...
coughing... coughing... both of them are coughing when Reymund suddenly princess carried Sarah and bolted out of that room, before the teachers could come out.
After few seconds, Lukas went out of that room.
"That fire arrow"
"HAHAHAHA" Lukas laugh maniacally
"So you were here all this time, HAHAHA"
"You outsmart me, real good."
"Now, killing you is a must for me"

While the fire alarm is still ringing, Reymund holding Sarah's hand as the ran all the way to their next class, the are breathing heavily and are sweating.
Sir Earl class is still on going as Reymund knocked the door before entering.
"Sir, sorry were late we went and bought outside for the lunch even though its raining." Reymund reasoned the professor to let them in. They were only late for 10 minutes, but for Reymund it is still considered late during class.
"No worries, i just finished writing the topic, take your sit now since i will discuss this right in a second"
As Reymund got the approval he then walks in while holding hands with Sarah as they walk all the way to the last row sit. They did not realize they were holding hands, while the entire Class 1-A is looking at them intensely...
They still remain holding hands will arranging. When Reymund was about to sit he looks in front seeing that everyone even the professor is looking intensely at them.
Hmm!
Both of them were confused looks at each other. There is a brief delay, but after the noticed, in an instant they sat down so fast, the arm chair slide on the opposite direction, making them a meter apart.
They were looking at the opposite direction with a red face... Everyone in the class were,
"Ehhh?"
