Recap:
After regaining consciousness in the hospital, Gojo was welcomed by his friends, including Naruto, Hinata, Ino, and others. His heartfelt interaction with them filled a void he had carried from his previous life. Fugaku Uchiha was publicly shamed and forced to compensate Gojo's grandfather after his earlier aggression, further tarnishing the Uchiha reputation. Meanwhile, a mysterious shadow observed Gojo's state with concern—it was Itachi Uchiha, who later discussed the incident with Shisui.

Gojo's eyes snapped open.
The ceiling above him was unfamiliar, but the weight in his chest reminded him of everything.
As the moonlight spilled into the hospital room, Gojo exhaled slowly and muttered:
"System. Show me my status panel."
A familiar, transparent blue screen materialized in front of his eyes.

Gojo stared at the status panel for several moments.
"So… the Uchiha bloodline is Intermediate now, and my Sharingan has awakened," he muttered. "But… 10,500 points?"
He was stunned. A few hours ago, he had barely any points left.
"System," he asked curiously, "why such a large reward?"
Ding!
Congratulations to the host for plundering a major opportunity from Naruto Uzumaki! Reward: 10,000 points.
Gojo's lips twitched in surprise.
"Plundered Naruto's opportunity… Sasuke's resentment towards me must've altered the timeline," he whispered. "Naruto probably missed a key interaction with Sasuke… All because of me."
There was guilt. But more than that, there was understanding.
This was how he could gather points—by shifting destiny.
He sat up slowly, ignoring the dull ache in his body.
His hand brushed his chest. He could feel it—his chakra now flowed cleaner, purer. His skin felt smoother, healthier. His entire presence had changed subtly.
"The Uzumaki bloodline… I underestimated it."
He then had a sudden thought.
"System, if I upgrade the Uzumaki bloodline again, will it affect the Sage Body?"
System: Yes. The Sage Body evolves in tandem with compatible bloodlines. Upgrading the Uzumaki bloodline to Intermediate will also upgrade Sage Body to Intermediate.
Gojo's eyes widened.
"A dual upgrade…"
But he hesitated. He now had enough points, but perhaps more than power, he needed clarity. Strategy.
He closed the status panel and stared outside the window.
The night was quiet.
So peaceful, yet so deceptive.
---
Meanwhile, on the rooftops of Konoha, a shadow darted across the tiles, gliding like a whisper of wind.
It was Itachi Uchiha.
He landed silently beside another shadow—Shisui.
The two stood in the moonlight, serious expressions painted across their faces.
"I saw everything," Itachi said finally. "Fugaku… went too far. He tried to suppress a three-year-old. That child awakened a Sharingan in response."
Shisui's brows furrowed. "Sharingan? At that age?"
"He withstood my father's murderous intent. Not many adults could have managed that."
Shisui crossed his arms. "Then what happened?"
"The Senju elder intervened. Fugaku was forced to apologize. But the damage is done, Shisui. The village's opinion of the Uchiha keeps getting worse."
Shisui remained silent for a moment.
"They're drifting further away, Itachi… We can feel it. The Uchiha no longer see themselves as part of Konoha. And the higher-ups—especially Danzo—are only fanning the flames."
"I know," Itachi said softly. "But Gojo… he's different. He's a bridge, not just between clans… but between hearts."
"Maybe. But if Fugaku sees him as a threat, then Gojo's life will never be safe."
They both looked up at the moon, its pale light casting a cold glow over Konoha.
"Should we protect him?" Itachi asked.
Shisui didn't answer right away.
Finally, he said, "We already are."
The two vanished into the night.
---
Back in the hospital, Gojo finally laid his head against the pillow.
"I'll grow stronger," he whispered, staring at the moon through the window.
A peaceful smile formed on his lips.
He drifted into sleep.
And the moon kept watch.
