[Elara's POV]
"Alpha," A man walked in, addressing Kieran. It was his Beta.
"What happened, Lincoln?" Kieran asked.
"The woman in charge of Elara is here to check her health..." the Beta said, as I watched Kieran give a nod before the Beta turned, making his way out of the room. Not long after, a woman made her way in, giving a half-bow greeting to Kieran, who stood up after.
"Come in," he said, as the woman approached our side.
"I am here to check her condition, Kieran, sir. I need to know how she is doing..." the woman said, as Kieran gave a nod, only for me to watch him leave the room after. "I will be back," he had said before leaving, those eyes that met mine, as though he wasn't yet through, one that said he needed those answers from me, even if I wasn't willing to give him one.
