Chapter 8 - VICTONY OLIVIA AND THE CYBERBOX

After the Great War, when the Celestial King defeated the Demon Lord LeroEpeothus, all demons went into hiding. Thousands of years passed, and eventually, the Celestial King died—not in battle, but from heart disease.

Of course, he could have healed it. But he didn't.

As for how he got the disease: during the war against Demon Lord Lero, one of the Gods of Destruction stabbed him in the heart and told him he had only a few years left to live.

Before his death, the Celestial King made one final declaration:

"There should be someone worthy to take my place and inherit my name."

The Demigods panicked.

"You are special—there is no one like you! You are a boundless being, beyond what we mortals call omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent. You are no god… You are beyond that.

Your power transcends the logic of this world. Even the gods cannot comprehend what you're capable of. No one can replace you!"

As the Demigods wept, the Celestial King gently replied:

"One day, you will find someone even more special and more powerful than me… even if it takes billions of years."

Then he gave a final order:

"Hold a tournament to determine the strongest among the Twelve Crystals. From the twelve champions, choose the one worthy to inherit my name."

The Demigods hesitated.

"But where can we hold such a tournament? There's no place strong enough to withstand the warriors' power. Even the strongest barriers wouldn't hold for long."

"Use the Mirror Room," the Celestial King answered.

"What?"

"The realm I was born in—I created a replica of it. Go to the Higher Outerverse. I've left a portal that will transport you and the examinees into the Three Realms… and into the Mirror Room."

His final words:

"You have seven years. Find and train the strongest warriors in each Crystal. Then choose one to become the next Celestial King."

And with that… the Celestial King died.

Following his will, the Demigods carried out his plan. After the trials, they chose Victony Olivia as the Second Celestial King.

Victony Olivia created something extraordinary: the Cyberbox.

"It is said that anyone who fully fuses with it will gain unimaginable power… even the gods cannot comprehend it."

She also created an Elixir of Life, which she poured into all Twelve Crystals, rendering them immortal.

Mira: "I still can't believe how she made countless multiverses in each of the Twelve Crystals immortal. That's insane."

Mira gently slapped her cheeks to refocus.

Mira: "Back to the story."

Years passed. Rumors spread that Victony Olivia had secretly worked with the very God of Destruction who stabbed the First Celestial King.

Why? Because she was the only human to possess the power of a god—the power of creation. It was even said that she had forged the weapon used in the original betrayal.

People turned on her. They cursed her. Distrusted her. Eventually, she was stripped of her title.

Enraged, she removed the Elixir of Life from the Twelve Crystals and poured it into her universe—not a multiverse, but a single universe. Her home.

"This world believed in me," she said. "They knew I would never betray them."

When the Twelve Crystals saw what she had done, she was executed—in the Mirror Room. The execution was broadcast across all the Crystals.

After that, her universe was given a new name: The Forsaken Ones.

But just before her death, she made one final declaration:

"I created a Cyberbox. Anyone who finds it and completely fuses with it will become a boundless, omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent god. Just think of it as the ability… to do whatever you want."

With those last words, chaos erupted.

Mercenaries, adventurers, and hunters from all over the Twelve Crystals began ravaging universes in search of the Cyberbox.

Mira: "Oh! You're asleep, Rey."

Rey, in his sleep: "Mom… one day… I will become the Celestial King…"

Mira blinked in shock.

Mira: "He… he spoke without stammering?"

She looked at her son, a strange sense of awe washing over her. She gently tucked him in and quietly left the room.

She couldn't shake the feeling.

There was something special about Rey.
