13th floor:
Jimin and Jungkook stood by the elevator, the silence between them humming with an electric charge, an odd cocktail of excitement and unease in the air. Today wasn't just any business meeting—it was The meeting. They were about to meet Kim Namjoon, the respected businessman everyone in the building was whispering about, and more importantly, the mysterious figure who had somehow managed to remain just out of reach, stirring curiosity and rumors.
The elevator doors slid open with a soft chime, breaking the tension. Namjoon stepped out first, his presence commanding but warm, his signature confident smile firmly in place. Behind him, there was a man—another figure who had become the subject of countless whispered conversations.
Jungkook, ever the professional, was the first to extend a hand. His voice was smooth, effortlessly polite, but his mind buzzed with questions. "Welcome, Mr. Kim. I'm Jeon Jungkook, CEO of Jeon Interprises."
Namjoon shook his hand firmly, his smile easy and disarming. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Jeon."
But it was Jimin who caught Jungkook's attention. His gaze wasn't on Namjoon—it was fixed on the man standing silently behind him. His eyes, usually calm and collected, were sharp and intense, as if he were trying to pierce through the stranger's very soul.
Namjoon, clearly noticing the shift, shot them both a knowing look and gestured toward the man who had remained in the background. "Ah, right. I should introduce you properly," he said smoothly, the transition almost practiced. The man stepped forward with quiet grace, and Namjoon added, "This is my husband, Kim Seok Jin. He's the one who interested in collaborating with Jeon Global."
Jungkook blinked, momentarily thrown off balance by the revelation. His mind scrambled to adjust to the new information, but he quickly masked his surprise behind a polite smile. "Ah, it's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Kim. I'm honored you've chosen to work with us."
Seok Jin's laugh was soft but genuine, a sound that filled the room with an almost magnetic warmth. "Mr. Jeon, it's not about choosing," he said, his eyes glinting with an unspoken depth. "Your company's reputation speaks for itself."
Jungkook's smile widened, but something about the way Seok Jin spoke sent a subtle ripple through the air. but the professional part of him kept him grounded. "Thank you, Mr. Kim. I'm looking forward to what we can achieve together."
After a brief pause, Jungkook gestured to the meeting room. "Shall we get started?"
As they moved to the meeting room, Jungkook couldn't shake the feeling that something was... off. Jimin walked just a bit too quietly beside him, his posture a little too rigid. His eyes were still flicking back toward Seok Jin, and there was something in his demeanor that felt out of place, like a piece of a puzzle that didn't quite fit.

The Meeting Continues
Inside the meeting room, the atmosphere was charged with a professional intensity, as Namjoon and his team took the reins of the discussion. But Jungkook's attention kept drifting, pulled by an invisible thread toward Jimin and Seok Jin.
Jimin, sharp as ever, sat at the table, all business on the surface. But Jungkook could see it—each time Seok Jin spoke or shifted in his seat, Jimin's muscles tensed, his fingers tapping the surface of the table with a precision that almost seemed too controlled.
Seok Jin, on the other hand, was the picture of composure. His gaze never wavered, his demeanor flawless. But there was something about his stillness that made the air feel thick—like he was a man who knew exactly how to hide his thoughts and emotions.
Jungkook couldn't help but feel a curious weight between them, Still, Jungkook pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on the meeting, though the strange dynamic simmered beneath the surface, like a quietly ticking time bomb.

When the meeting finally concluded, Namjoon was the first to rise, extending his hand with a practiced smile. "I look forward to our next steps, Mr. Jeon . Let's make this partnership a success."
Jungkook accepted the handshake with a firm grip, keeping his expression neutral. "I share the same sentiment Mr.kim . This will be a great venture." His tone was smooth, but there was a subtle undercurrent of professionalism. He wasn't one to overlook details.
Namjoon nodded and glanced at Seok Jin. "Well then, we'll be off. But it's been a pleasure meeting you today."
Jungkook, ever the polite host, gave a small bow. "The pleasure's mine. And if you have time later, I'd like to invite you for dinner sometime ,Perhaps we can discuss some of the finer points of the partnership."
Namjoon, clearly pleased by the offer. "That sounds like a wonderful idea, Jungkook. I'll have my assistant coordinate with yours to arrange the details."
"Great" jungkook said, again giving a firm handshake.
Seok Jin didn't say much, but his eyes flicked toward Jimin for a brief moment. The look was cold and calculating—something almost unnerving, and Jimin didn't even blink. He simply avoided Seok Jin's gaze, his body language stiff as he stood off to the side.
Jungkook noticed the exchange between them and , his brow furrowing slightly with the strange tension but decided to let it slide for now.

As the office emptied and his team wrapped up the day's tasks, he approached Jimin, who was quietly gathering his things.
"Jimin," he called softly, his voice laced with concern. " Are you going to home".
Jimin's flinch at sudden voice but he composed himself after knowing it's jungkook, jimin looked at jungkook and for a moment, there was a vulnerability in his gaze—just a fleeting second before he masked it with his usual calm. "Yes,I'm heading home early" Jimin said, offering a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "I'm tired."
Jungkook studied him, but decided not to press. He knew better than to force the conversation when Jimin wasn't ready. "Alright," he said, though his voice held a note of genuine concern. "Let me drop you."
Jimin nodded, and again for a brief moment, their gazes locked—an unspoken understanding passing between them before Jimin turned away.

As the two made their way to the elevator, Jungkook cleared his throat."you ok... if something's bothering you, you know you can talk to me, right?"
Jimin paused, caught off guard by jungkook question,he didn't look up immediately. When he did, his eyes were guarded, and the usual calm mask was firmly in place. "It's really nothing," he said, offering a forced smile. "I'm just a little tired."
Jungkook wasn't convinced , but he let it go for now.

The drive back to Jimin's apartment was quiet, save for the hum of the car engine. Jungkook kept his focus on the road, while Jimin stared out the window, lost in thought.
When they finally reached Jimin's apartment, he turned to Jungkook, his voice soft, almost hesitant. "Thanks for the ride, Kook. I'll… I'll catch you later."
Jungkook's heart clenched at the distance in Jimin's voice. "Anytime," he said, but Something in the air felt like it was about to change.
As Jimin get out the car, jungkook also come out , and looking at jimin back ,who start walking to gate.almost as if on impulse—jimin turned back toward Jungkook, his body language uncertain. Without warning, he rushed forward, wrapping his arms around Jungkook in a tight, desperate hug.
Jungkook was caught off guard for a moment, but then he melted into the embrace, his arms instinctively wrapping around Jimin. He could feel the way Jimin's body trembled, hear the quiet sobs that escaped him, and his heart broke for him. He didn't say anything, just held Jimin, his hand running through his hair, offering comfort without words.
After a long while, Jimin pulled back, but he didn't let go. His face was flushed, eyes still glistening with unshed tears. "Sorry," he whispered, his voice shaky. "I didn't mean to fall apart like that."
Jungkook cupped his face gently, brushing away the tears with his thumb. "You don't have to apologize, Jimin," he said softly. "I'm here for you. Always."
Jimin's eyes searched his for a long moment, as if weighing his words. Then, in a soft, vulnerable voice, he spoke again. "Stay with me tonight. Please."
Jungkook's heart skipped a beat. His voice was low, soft as he responded, "I'll stay as long as you need me, Jimin."
They didn't need more words. In the quiet stillness of the night, they were enough—just the two of them.
