"Hey! Stop bouncing on it, Lily." Ethan hissed.
"What can I do? It feels so good."
"Ah! It squirted on my face?"
"Why do you have to press it so hard?" Ethan groaned, looking at Mei.
I think something is wrong in this conversation. Begone, dirty thoughts.
Lily bounced on the sofa while Mei held a cream puff, dripping with cream.
They had arrived at Ethan's villa just yesterday after the chaos at their old place.
When Ethan first said he had a place, Mei and Lily imagined a small house.
But when they saw the villa and the supercar parked outside they slapped each other, thinking it was a dream.
Mei bombarded Ethan with endless questions, while Lily just admired the place.
Ethan only said, "You can stay here as long as you want. For now, that's all I'll say."
Mei hesitated, sensing Ethan had secrets he didn't want to share. He had saved them already , without him, they would have ended up with those thugs. The thought terrified her.
He'd done miracles for them; she felt she had no right to ask questions.
"Alright, we'll stay. But not for free. We'll handle all the daily chores at the villa."
"Alright, no problem," Ethan agreed.
Back in the living room, Lily kept bouncing on the sofa, and Mei squeezed the cream puff again, causing the cream to drip.
"Alright stop all of this." Ethan said
If they don't stop now, I can't stop the beast that is rising, especially looking at aunt Mei.
-----------------------------------
Ethan sat quietly in the corner of Class 2-A, twirling his pen.
The first class of the day had just begun.
Students sat upright, scribbling lazily in their notebooks, when the classroom door opened with a creak.
Professor Green entered, sleeves wrinkled, expression twisted with the joy of ruining someone's morning.
"Before we start," Green said, dropping his briefcase with a loud thud, "we need to deal with a certain student who thinks he's better than the rest."
The class turned quiet.
scanned the rows before locking eyes on Ethan.
"You. Stand up."
Ethan rose slowly.
"This is a school, not a circus. What are you trying to prove, causing chaos in the cafeteria yesterday?"
Whispers broke out. The rumor had already spread, but now it had fuel.
"You walk around like you're somebody. But remind me…" The teacher smirked, tapping his chin. "What does a poor brat with no future and no money think he's doing here?"
Chuckles scattered across the room.
"And your grades," Professor Green continued. "Do you even understand what I teach, or are you just here for the free air-conditioning?"
A few students snickered. At the back, the trash human Lucien grinned smugly.
"Camila," the teacher called.
A timid girl in the second row flinched. "Y-Yes?"
"Come to my office after class. I need help organizing the exam papers."
Ethan's eyes flicked up. Something clicked in his head. This scene. He'd seen it before.
This trash teacher is one of the reasons for Ethan's suicide. He is a pervert, scumbag and worse than trash. Many female students left this university because of his scum nature, he always asked those female students to come to his room and took advantage of them. In the past when Ethan saw this, he tried to complain to the principal, but he had no evidence to back it.
From that Professor Green started humiliating him. Ethan was a bright student, he passed in every subject except his. Because this trash always failed him. He must be doing this to me because of Lucien.
Ethan raised his hand. "Sir, if you need help with the papers, I can do it."
The girl blinked in surprise.
Green frowned. "What?
"I caused the commotion in the cafeteria. Let me make up for it."
The teacher's eye twitched. But with students watching, he couldn't argue.
"…Fine," he muttered. "Try not to get lost, peasant."
Ethan walked through the hallway, gripping the stack of papers. His face was calm, but inside he was boiling. He wanted to expose that scum, but for that to happen, he needs proof, he needs a plan.
As he approached the teacher's office, he noticed someone standing there.
The Student Council President.
She was graceful, sharp, and athletic. She walked down the hallway like it belonged to her, perfect posture, straight ponytail, with sharp eyes that looked like they saw through everything. Her navy-blue school uniform was flawless, with the student council badge shining like a medal.
Jasmine Carter.
Ethan paused.
He knew her. She was one of the heroines.
She glanced at Ethan. "Are you here to see Professor Green?"
"Yeah. Papers," he replied, trying to sound casual.
"Hm," she nodded politely, arms crossed. "Make it quick. I need to discuss something."
Before Ethan could answer, the door creaked open.
Green looked surprised . "Ah, Jasmine! Please come in. Ethan, wait outside for a moment."
Ethan nodded and stepped back.
A few minutes later, Jasmine stepped out. She nodded again, and walked down the hallway, her footsteps echoing with authority.
As they passed each other, her sharp eyes met his.
"You're from Class 2-A?" she asked.
"Yes."
She gave a slight nod. "Don't let him push you around."
Ethan blinked. He hadn't expected her to say that.
Without another word, she walked off with perfect posture, heading toward the student council wing.
He was about to knock when he noticed the door wasn't fully shut.Ethan turned to go in.
And then he heard it.
"Jasmine… tch. Acting all high and mighty. Let's see how long she lasts. I'll break that icy pride soon."
Ethan's hand froze in the air
The system buzzed softly in his ear.
