Chapter 10 - Jasmine Carter- The Assassin Heroine

Mission Triggered: Expose The Pervert.

Ethan was staring at the floating screen in front of him.

Ah, so this is the hint system gave me. I am really dumb, I should have already guessed when the system word teacher came.

"Hey, why are you just standing there, if you came here to place the papers, put it on the desk and leave." Professor Green shouted at him and left the room angrily.

Ethan quietly put the papers on the teacher's desk. The room was empty and still. He took a deep breath, his heart beating a little faster.

So many thoughts raced in his mind. How would he save Jasmine? What is he planning to do with jasmine? What could he do to stop the teacher who was causing so much trouble? He didn't know the exact plan yet, but he was determined.

The heroine was special. She was not just any girl. In the original story, she was the last heroine to be introduced, but Ethan already knew she was important. She was athletic and strong, a girl who never gave up.

She was smart, too, with good grades and quick thinking. People admired her because she was also beautiful like a model. Tall, graceful, and confident. Everyone wanted to be around her. But she was more than just a pretty face; she was brave and had a strong heart. The type of girl everyone noticed. Boys crushed on her. Girls wanted to be like her. But she was always distant, never close to anyone.

So why is she showing up now?

In the novel she was a mystery, not much about her background, not even details about her family.

But she was special when she first got introduced, she became one of the most popular characters in such a short time. Maybe because of her appearance. But what I liked the most was how calculative, smart she was. Otherwise how could she have ruled an assassin group?

He slowly walked down the hallway, lost in thought.

He had already tried to expose this teacher in the past. He had once seen him cornering a girl near the storage room. The girl looked scared. She tried to speak up later, but nothing happened. Just like Ethan's case no one listened to her. The teacher twisted the story, played the victim, and made Ethan look like a liar.

Everyone was scared of him. He had friends in high places and could stop anyone who tried to speak against him. Ethan remembered how many times he had seen the teacher get away with things. No one dared to stop him.

The hallway was quiet and empty. The cool air brushed past him as he walked slowly, thinking about what to do next. How could he expose him? What proof could he find? Without proof, no one would believe him.

His footsteps echoed softly on the floor. He clenched his fists tightly, frustration rising inside him. But he knew he had to stay calm and think carefully.

Suddenly, he heard a soft voice calling his name.

"Ethan!"

He stopped and looked up. Two girls stood nearby. One was the timid girl he had helped before. She looked shy but relieved to see him. The other was the heroine. She stood tall and proud, her eyes focused on Ethan.

The timid girl gave a small smile.

"Thank you for helping me earlier," she said quietly. "I was scared and didn't know what to do."

Ethan scratched his head, slightly awkward.

"It's nothing. Really," he replied

Jasmine stepped forward. Her eyes were full of determination.

"I heard you complained about that teacher before. Is it true?" she asked.

Ethan nodded. "Yes, I did complain once. But nothing happened."

"What did you see?" she asked.

"I saw him behave badly with a girl," Ethan explained. "He touched her where he shouldn't have. I told a teacher, but they didn't believe me. They said I was wrong. The teacher is powerful. He has friends everywhere. He stops people from speaking out."

Jasmine frowned.

"That's what I thought. I've had doubts about him for a long time. But the girls are scared. They don't want to speak up because they are afraid of what might happen."

Ethan felt his anger rise again.

"They cover everything up. No one wants to fight him."

Jasmine's eyes softened.

"But this time, things will be different. I want to find real proof. And I need your help."

Ethan blinked in surprise.

"My help? Why me?"

She smiled a little.

"You've already been brave. You didn't look away. I want someone who won't be afraid. Someone I can trust."

Ethan looked at her carefully.

"Last time, I tried, but it didn't work. The school protected him. I don't have power here."

She stepped even closer. There was no fear in her eyes.

"This time, you don't have to be scared."

Ethan blinked.

"Why not?"

Her answer was simple.

"Because I'm with you."

He stared at her, stunned.

There was no joke in her voice. She wasn't being dramatic. She was simply telling him the truth.

Ethan's heart raced.

"Really?" he asked softly.

"Yes," she said simply. "We'll work together. We'll find the evidence and stop him."

 He nodded slowly.

"Alright. I will help you."

"Why do they both give power couple vibes?" Camila the timid girl thought in her mind.

Ethan glanced at her again. "So… what's your plan?"

She turned, her hair flipping lightly over her shoulder. "We'll talk tomorrow. Meet me at the rooftop. For now, just stay alert. Don't let him know we're onto him."

And with that, she walked away with Camila beside her.

Ethan watched as the two girls walked away down the hall.

He stood alone for a moment, his thoughts swirling. Not about the teacher this time.

Why she just now became extra beautiful, when she flipped her hair.

He clenched his fist with determination.

Just you wait ugly bastard, you will never be able to land a finger on her.
