In the office if the CEO, Gu Zhongchen was looking at some documents. It was currently 7pm. For the past hour and a half, he was reviewing some company reports and signing some documents. Assistant Zhou was with him, bringing the important documents.
"Finally, it's finished." Gu Zhongchen said aloud, a little bit tired. This seemed to be the last document. "God, I hate doing this. It was always such a chore in the past. It still is. Reviewing documents and reports are the most annoying part of running a business." He thought, finding the work annoying.
He then said to assistant Zhou," Assistant Zhou, I will not be available for some months. So I will need you handle my matters in the company. If you need me to sign something, bring it to my house."
After saying that he got up from his chair and said," I will go home now. You may also go home." and went out of the office. Assistant Zhou followed after him. Gu Zhongchen then got inside the elevator, pressing the button for the garage, intending to go home.

Now Gu Zhongchen was even more confused. He couldn't think of any other reason. So he asked,"Then why are you so angry?"

"I am angry because of you." She said, her face becoming a little red with anger
Gu Zhongchen was shocked and confused. He didn't know why she was so angry at him. So he asked her,"What did I do?"
Seeing him looking clueless, she became even more angry. "Gu Zhongchen ! How dare you say that? You were supposed go on a date with Xu Xialing at 3 in the afternoon today. She waited for you for more than 2 hours. Her mother called me and said you didn't go. Do you know how angry Xialing's mother was? This is not the way you should treat your fiancé."
Gu Zhongchen was shocked hearing the reason. He completely forgot about the date. He was so busy with the meeting that the date just slipped his mind.
He immediately started starting apologizing to her and said," I am very sorry. I was in a important meeting. I was so busy with the meeting that I forgot about the date. Don't worry, I promise I will make it up to her."
Hearing that her son forgot about the date, Shui Qingxia was shocked. She was so shocked that she completely forgot about her anger.

"Do you think something is wrong with him?Is he depressed because Xialing doesn't love him back?" Shui Qingxia asked, worried for her son.
" That must be it. He must have been hurt knowing his the love of his life doesn't love him back." Gu Changsheng said, agreeing with his wife.
" Let's talk to him at dinner. We can't leave him hurting like this." Shui Qingxia decided, not wanting her son to be here.
"Alright." Gu Changsheng agreed.
So the Gu couple decided to talk to their son, thinking he was depressed and hurt because of his one sided love.
They didn't know that their original son was gone, replaced by someone who didn't care about Xu Xialing at all.
